  1. @Bay Seeds Anastasia 99 autoflower.

Pic #1 at day 78 under 60% shade house.
    Pic 2 & 3 outside at day 60.

Shade house plants twice the height compared to the tyre garden ladies.
Bud structure. Mmmm. As one would expect, not very good.

Tyre garden plants are top notch I'd say.
But there is a reason everyone uses shade tunnels out here.
Lets see what mid summer throws my way.

  2. Photoperiod grow looking healthy so far.

Not sure if I mentioned but my photoperiod grow consists of @Bay Seeds & @Totemic seeds leftover from previous grows.

Pic 1 & 2 in the shade house.
Majority still in 1l pots with a dozen or so in 3l pots.
Stretch on these due to 60% shade net is twice the height compared to the ones outside.
I knew there would be a difference but to see it is a nice learning experience.
No deficiencies or bug problems yet.

Pic 3 & 4 outside in the tyre garden.
This lot are in 3l pots getting a taste of the wind on the reservation. So far they seem to be surviving and are happy.
Except for the fcuk'ing grasshoppers. Not a train smash yet, only 2 or 3 plants. Spraying a mix of garlic and chilli once a day for now. Chickens inbound, just securing the area.
    No deficiency problems yet.

Last pic is an idea I'm gonna try to brace the plants for our famously destructive winds on the reservation.

I am taking a chance on R25/40l soil this grow and judging by @Bay Seeds Anastasia 99 so far I'm happy.
I still need a few hundred litres.

By the way. The A99 have been deficiency and pest free so far.d765266bfed39abbbafbc304a53b05a6.jpgca34698979698825af371cc6bbe383e0.jpgb4899b04d9ccbec41c18e7978b1e56ee.jpgb4d8b79bdf93e4fceca177d5270bfe04.jpga8c853b85a34f7bf16a8510caef37675.jpg

  3. @Bay Seeds, big up my man, well done.
    Anastasia 99 autoflower 100% germination.
24 popped and 23 going strong. Snail got one.

I am dropping 6 seeds into shot glass every Friday and usually putting seeds into soil Tuesday mornings.

Outside performing better than in the shade house for now. Let's see what the reservation summer has in store this year.81fdfded633f73d49b5e8306ce623527.jpg7ca3ab0d9c9591dacdeb531543579a96.jpg3de0cae607c081abc5a90c8c4891165d.jpg7e49df6402f28cfd55280cf95c8e6e92.jpgae158875c6f75e728595c47fffd06269.jpga664f29d6eddc9813aeb97db56823178.jpg

  4. At round 2 months these 3 A99 are having a tough time but healthy.
Planted these when it was still wet and brrrr.

And I woke up and smelt the coffee.

I'm always comparing my plants with others out there and mine always have more stretch.????

60% shade cloth should do it hey. Such a Nana.8130290ee6391deb0d6c6b08c855e20b.jpg73ae9078c3638b276953118d0f976e0f.jpgd474ac4918da304a78a1d57492ade73d.jpg

  5. These Anastasia 99 autos, the big ones, are a month and some old.
The bottom tyre I started as a worm composter for a couple of months.
Then new soil I'm testing with perlite added in the top tyre.
    Plants seem ok.

Another 6 Anastasia 99 autos popped their heads today.
These little ones are in my strawberry tyres .

6 out of 6. The germination rate of your 99's @Bay Seeds has been 98% on my side.
    Well done my man.6a05321ca2eff3e74fc9b47a572e2511.jpg7ba44495707d9d56dd8c4fe9aaf73983.jpgeaaaf7e1a6e53f646637c85e5817aedf.jpg7d0f8fda2c7f568405d3ab79c3bf2eb0.jpg

  6. Yep, it was bound to happen.

With the veggie/mother herb tyre stacks being a worm composting as well it has attracted a mole. Moles looove worms I've just read up.
This area's soil is improving weekly now thanks to the worms spreading out.

    I've changed my mind.
No more tyres. Not because of moles but I really don't want a fuck ton of tyres on the property to be honest.
The other half of this area I'm gonna make no till raised beds (not very high) and I'm gonna be putting in worm farm towers.

  7. 50 auto seeds in the dirt, holding thumbs we have 100% germination. I did run them in water for the first 24 hrs. Some seeds in a light compost/coir/perlite mix and some just in straight coir.

  8. So I'm just waiting on some more soil before I collect any more tyres.

There are about 10 autos in tyres and in the ground for now. Still cold and very damp here, till 10am some days it's misty.
Purple peas, black beans, tomatoes, mint, spuds and a chilli plant growing in the tyre garden as well.

In ghe shade house autos at varies ages. They having a hard time but growing. I'll get into more detail later.

Ran a test on some homegrown seedling soil from our landlady. 128 photoperiod seeds into a tray. 92% germination in 7 days. Thats 118 from 128.

Will start the autos en mass mid October probably early November.
