  1. Neem and pyrol both have equal chances of burning your plants but both can be avoided. Neem OIL and pyrol are both oil bases so if you spray your plants and put them back under lights you are going to fry them. The oil acts like a lens under light . You must spray just before lights off and let them dry out sufficiently otherwise you will burn your plants.

That being said NEVER spray oils on plants under 1000w lights , the oil needs at least a week before the risk of burning isn't there.

My preference is pyrol as neem smells like ass....

  2. Looking good bud.

Take those last bits of stork of were u topped them , make the cut as close as you can to the bottom. Leaving that small piece is a waste of plant energy,  the plant is keeping  that stork alive for no reason. Same goes for any branch or leaf you take off , the entire piece must come off.

Don't be scared about abusing your plants,  they can take it. Also try drilling holes in the top of the pot lip and tieing the branches to the side with plant ties (lst)

  3. Hi bud

That's spidermite , have a good look under the leaves there will be to y black specks (actually red). Those are spidermite , I would recommend pyrol. As for the pistols , am I right in saying the plant is still in veg? If so u can still veg as long as you want , those are just preflowers that show when the plant is sexually mature.

  4. bud don't get ahead of yourself..... forcing hermies and making seeds from female seeds does not make for good genetics....do yourself a favour and go research genetics and seed production .

  5. You should try starting training a lot earlier. General rule of thumb I use is if it has 2 sets of true leaves she can be fimmed and started to be trained. A well trained plant can easily double your yield.

  6. @Toby No. I'm in the East Cape. It makes no difference where in the country you are. If it gets intercepted it happens at customs. Just take out the insurance and stealth packaging option. They will keep sending until it arrives.

Well it actually does matter were in the country you are ..... Cape Mail is on the ball and the guys in Cape town have major issues getting seeds. I know growers that have there seeds send to friend's in JHB and then the friends send the beans on to cape town

  7. I moved away from passive intakes a while ago , I use a 6" powered intake with a centrafugal fan designed to work with resistance moving about 400m3  an hour and then a 8" extracting moving about 650m3 an hour through carbon.

On the intake I use batting from the material shop as a prefilter and a hepa and a secondary  filter.

  8. You gotta pay for the panel and shipping right. Then the thing arrives and there is a problem? You gotta pay and mission to ship it back (Assuming they will take it back). I can replace my HID's in an hour. Capacitors, ignitors, bulbs, ballasts etc Can be easily troubleshooted and repaired yourself. JOMO:-peace

I couldn't agree with you more , that much down time on a critical piece of equipment is scary.  My personal option is you will still get more yield of a digital hid , lot of hype around led panels . It's just there grow footprint is terrible.

    2 x 1000w digital hid will kick 4 x 400w led panels ass , just my 2 cents

  9. Honestly I haven't seen flora  bloom... if you growing in soil you want an organic nute , I would highly recommend biobizz biobloom and biogrow combination. It's the only thing I would use.

  10. When greenhouse opened there strainhunters seed bank I was send sample of all there seeds , it took me a good part of 6 months to grow them out . Some were fail genetics as in just kak plants mist hermied and I got only 1 plant out that's sort of a keeper...

Don't forget about subcool and jaws gear also top notch stuff. Lately I actually am enjoying royal queen genetics as well.

  11. Hi bud

First off what medium are you using? Because you are going from organic nutes to chemical nutes.... big no no there bud.

If you going organic then biobizz and if chemical hydro then nutriplex. You can't flip flop between growing techniques because you will run into major trouble.

    Www.growguru.co.za stocks both nutes.

    Cheers
