  1. My first car was a Ford Escort Sport MK2 and I was an apprentice engine assembler at the time. To add to that my father owns an automotive engineering workshop.

Old school Kent engine so went old school mods like V6 valves, 325is inner valve springs, weber side draughts, 1300 oversized pistons in a 1600 block, knife edged crank, polished rods, cut cam with a 4 speed bullet box.

Had so much fun throwing that thing around corners. But my favourite car is still my 97 vtec. The way it barks when you pass 4500rpm and just screams all the way to 9000rpm.

Plus benefits of living by the coast is dense air, my little 1600 use to harass g5 GTI's.

  2. The Cummins is rated at 242kw and 827nm at the flywheel.  Yeah bikes are dangerous but oh so fun. And that sound of the power band of a 300 is so addictive but gets me in trouble almost every time.

  3. Had a little 97 civic vtec with bolt ons. Not the fastest car but so much fun to drive and really responds well to abuse.

Other toy was a 2016 KTM 300, cant beat the smell of 2 stroke. Sadly have stopped riding due to a bum sholder.

I am currently busy with a project at work, putting a 5.9l Cummins ISB engine in a 2005 Ford F250.

  4. I'm probably wrong but it looks like sulphur deficiency to me. All yellowing is on new growth and starts at the base of the leaf working it's way to the tips.

N deficiency would target your lower leaves.

  5. So the Gelato is carrying on with out a fuss. She may be small but has given zero issues this far.

The LSD however is proving to be a bit of a diva. I have been struggling for the last week or so with twisted new growth that is very light with dark veins. It is way more noticeable under the LED than in natural sunlight.

I gave her a dose of epsom salts hoping it's a sulphur deficiency. I flipped her to flower at the beginning of the week and have just started with half dose feeds of biobizz grow and bloom. Apart from the new growth she seems healthy overall.

  6. Hi Jimmy.

There are plenty options on the market when it comes to grow lights. The 1000w lights sold at China mall are not 1000w. Proper grow lights will cost around double that for a true 120w light.

Their are a few local suppliers that others can vouch for, or you can look at importing from digikey and slapping it together yourself.

Same here, I've ordered some seeds for my winter grow last week tuesday, it arrived yesterday. Once my tent arrives from hydroponic.co.za I can start... they've got some really good strains
