Let's see them links, King! Show us the guys importing for less, why you holding out on us bruh?
Just from Alibaba, without shipping and customs it cost about R2400 from them. My last import I paid about R1100 shipping and tax. You can save a few bucks if you want to go that route but them being here gives people the ease of mind.
Also looking at the Nanolux 630w feature which is 13k seen it for about 10k on sale aswell.
Their prices are not bad I thought it would just be abit better but everyone needs to eat!

Heads up. Meiju have opened up an office in the Western Cape and they don't look too bad at all. A few products in particular catch my eye. For somebody just starting out I'd point to this 240W.
I personally have been slowly looking and waiting for what would inevitably replace my QBs when their time comes and I would opt for the 650W below. I've got another year or so I rate before I think I should start testing/replacing my first LEDs.
I would of thought the prices would be abit better seeing as lots of guys importing them for less.
Prices seem very similar to the local market.

this sounds perfect you gona do any kinda microbial inoculants? probably not completely necessary as there's already a bunch in the worm castings, but you know the more life in the soil the better
Yeah will do some ExploGrow feeds and got given another product to test called Phytostim which contains a bit of microbes as well.

I know a guy that used the bio line. Grow + Bloom + Enhancer with Freedom Farms Formula 1. good results.
mixing that stuff in with FF premium classic will be way too much nutrients for your plants.
if you mix in with pure coco/perlite mix, just make sure it's buffered. I am not sure if these dry amendments will provide sufficient cation exchange sites, you might end up with PH swings as it's not really a living soil in that case.
If you going the buffered coco route you'll be doing more of a hydroponic style grow with organic dry amendments, which means you gona have to keep checking PH.
either way, you gona have to keep inoculating mycos on a monthly basis to help break down the nutrients for best results.
I can remember he mixed the soil for the first phase pots with the recommended amount of just the Grow amendment.
when time came to repot into second phase pots, mixed recommended amounts of Grow + Bloom into the new soil going into the bigger pots. topdressed with Enhancer mid flower giving the stuff time to break down to be available towards end of flower.
reason he's not using it anymore also linked to price cause he got more or less the same results using biobizz Grow, Fish + Bloom.
I'm thinking of starting in a 15lt pot with about 10lt 70/30 buffered coco and 5lt worm castings then switch to 25lt for Flower.

Have not used it. Was to expensive for me. But would like to see results
Yeah I've been looking at it for a while but also too expensive for my budget but got blessed with the starter kit.

Has anyone used the Greenhouse Powder Feeding Bio Line? I won a starter kit recently and would like any advice or tips if anyone has used it.

This is actually the big Buddha that won the Betty boob cup a couple of years ago. The Exo is the cape town Exo and the super cheese is the 20 year old cut. This is a preservation project. Gonna hit all of them with a stankonya male from fresh coast seedco. Which is a GMO x Secret Cheese. GMO is Chemdog x GSC. Not really for growing this for flower it is basically a side project. Preservation of seeds we want more off and then I got sidetracked and got all the cheese I could get my hands on. I have made cuts if you want.
Just smoked some of that Buddah recently and also grown it. Very nice smooth smoke, abit on the sweeter side but such a lovely smoke.

Did any one ever find a place that makes screens? Looking for one.
Check out Hydroworks, they sell screens and bags. Think a set cost about R350-R500

Week 2 done and the canopy is thick!
The beach wedding at the back stretched the most the others not too far behind.
With loadshedding my main concern is airflow so got this rechargeable fan/light from game I keep it plugged in with a phone charger and the battery keeps going when the electricity is out so atleast I have some airflow, will look to add another one soon.

What is the current temperature and humidity of that area? You might not need a heater.

The verified reviews aren't too bad either might be worth it.

Hi all.
Been shopping around for a few things and while I was on Amazon came across this light. Currently 50% off and offering an 80 dollar coupon.
essentially a 420w light for R4300
i m ready to pull the trigger but was curious if I missed anything. Will the power connection be ok or would I need an inverter ?
https://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-Diodes-Dimmable-Spectrum-Indoor/dp/B09G66W73D
I checked out the link and the driver looks like it uses a normal power lead (not sure of the voltage but they are generally 120v-250v)
The price is good for a 420w but remember if anything goes wrong it's not that easy to return it.

The East Coast Cannabis Cup we just held end of last month.
There was an InHouse Jellybreath entered, and a favorite for smell and taste.
Unfortunately not me but this was a good one as well.

If you are in CT, Cannabliss, 202 lower main, observatry, does tests. Last time there 120 first, 90 every follow up, if i remember correctly. Just potency, thc and cbd. They use the same method as Qure, just the Israelian version, Qure uses the Humboldt machine. They told me, tests are accurate compared to the expensive chromatograph versions. In a few years we have cheap machines to test at home, then the seed banks will get into real trouble.
Cannabliss also does Brix numbers, if you want your sugar tested, bring 4, 5 fan leaves per plant. Collect at least 4 hours after light is on. i aim to have 15% or more sugar in my leaves.
Cannabliss no longer have the store in Obs they online but still offers the test, contact them on socials to find out the details.

Week 7 Flower update.
Blunicorn(1st Pic) took a bit of a beating in week 5 and 6 with nutes being abit too strong for her while the Jelly Breath(Pics 2-5)was all good. The Blunicorn is seems abit behind so going to try and feed her till the end and just give the Jelly Breath water.
Jelly Breath got some nice tints and smells very sweet

Enjoy using them as part of my IPM, usually put some in late veg/early flower.
Price has gone up from R25 but still worth it.
