  1. I have been experiencing the opposite issue. If the grow space is fairly small you can try putting a wet small towel in the grow space, that helped me increase humidity on a previous grow.

I am sure some other members will have more sophisticated methods of achieving this

  2. I did another check today. Seeing the odd amber or 2 here and there but all aren't looking cloudy. Not sure if I should do another week of nutrients or start flushing from today?94f0ee53a69622bc3c5253ddc3493d6d.jpgb9036c2202c51b01d00a1f8df5eeb445.jpg

  3. These guys look like they are approaching being ready for harvest. I am think of starting the flush this weekend. So that I can harvest next weekend.

Any advice on whether I'm considering doing this too late or early?

Taking shots with the digital microscope is quite tricky but it looks like the trichomes are mostly cloudy at the moment?471807ba966c9435f6b0c9d927d7af84.jpgfda4903a483bcd05f36bb8ca82498861.jpgd32ebf0a37d201c8194ced9ba1ea977d.jpgc91f11b811fd1f738437a1c06ba1408b.jpg

  4. I have, not to say you wont run into issues but if you do not have a dehumidifier - then you gotta work with what you got.

Spraying the plants to try keep possible issues at bay could help. Defoliation as well and ensure ample air circulation inside the tent to avoid stale spots.
Thanks, what spray should I use?

  5. @Slartibarfast keep in mind that the ambient humidity will be the lowest you will achieve in your tent.
If you want it lower, the only way is with a dehumidifier.

So best is to monitor the ambient RH of the room and perhaps even the house, then you know how far off the RH in the tent is compared to the room / house.
Increasing the amount of air moving through the tent will help get rid of excess humidity in the tent. Any lower than the ambient humidity, you'd need a dehumidifier.

I have decided to just stick it out and go with the flow as I do not really want to run a dehumidifier, so sometimes humidity is high during flower - just monitor for PM or spray something to help prevent PM from occurring.

Thanks for that, looks like humidity in my place is roughly the same as the tent so looks like a dehumidifier is my best bet. I have an oscillating fan in the tent and the 150mm extractor fan is always running at max. Have you successfully flowered at humidity ranges similar to mine?

  6. Any ideas on non-dehumidifier methods to lower tent humidity? I have a 1m x 1m tent and the room is probably around 3m x 3m with a door into the house passage and a single window. I am using ducting to exhaust tent air out the window and have 1 intake open.

I have experimented with opening more intakes, opening the room door and increasing the temp on the dry air heater in the tent. Not having much success really.

I have 2 flowering plants in the tent and the humidity is usually between 50% and 65%. I use a Blumat drip system for watering so there isn't excess water in the pots.

Any advice would be super appreciated

  7. Hi, I have mainlined a Kush x Cheese grow in Freedom Farms soil using a 10l pot. I have been feeding it nutrients on a weekly feeding schedule but am finding that the buds are just not getting all that dense. Attached are some pictures from it currently at 9 weeks of flowering.

Would mainlining a soil grow hinder the plants growth at all? Or does it look fine and maybe it's just genetics?

I have a Sour Diesel grow in the tent with it that was only topped and it looks to be fattening up quite well. 8c4bb94cb8fd8c5963504b98241e6788.jpg0d21e554cb323cb676c4f21874d9e529.jpg

  8. Hi, I am growing in Freedom Farms soil indoor and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how much GHE FloraGro, FloraMicro and FloraBloom I should be using for for a plant that I am going to switch to 12/12 and then also how much for once it starts flowering?

  9. Hi, just wanted to check how it went with your possible thrip problem? Funny enough I found some thrip on my plant a few days after replying here. Been spraying with Pyrol for the last few weeks and it seems to have cleared.

  10. Funny enough, my leaf is from a Do Si Do plant too I used Pyrol too and it seemed to work. The plant was a reveg and I wanted to start a new grow...so I ended up tossing it and cleansed my tent. My chilli plant survived using the Pyrol though.

  11. This is what my plant's leaves looked like whilst being infested by thrip. Looks similar. They're really tiny, I used a microscope to look at them properly but basically moving white specs 0d3bbfb262f961842b8c810a35c68cb1.jpg

  12. Il moves the dripper away from the stem, or even if you can split the dripper so you have two and the 10cm away from stem, it will help with roots looking for water/nutrients further away.

Thanks for that, I turned it out a bit after taking the photo.

  13. Hey, just thought I'd share photos of my new grow. Growing OG Kush x Cheese and Sour Diesel. Attempting to mainline the OG Kush and just going to top and train the Sour Diesel.

Any advice is appreciated if anyone spots anything wrong :D

  14. Moved onto my 3rd seed now, trying direct in soil. Been in there around 4 days now with no sign of germination. I have never had issues like this before, worried that they're just bad seeds
