Hi, I've been having nonstop issues with this monstera after repotting a few months ago. I think it had root rot and lost a lot of its roots.
I now have cleaned it off and dipped it in a hydrogen peroxide solution followed by a clean water rinse. It's drying in the sun now.
Any suggestions on what I can do to save it?

Hey, sorry for the late response. I'm extremely happy with how it looks. The swivel is great, so nice to be able to change the viewing angle@Slartibarfast So how does the TV look on the wall?

Thanks so much. I managed to find a friend of my brother's that's willing to help. If he flakes I might reach out to you.I have a fairly nice rotary hammer drill with very good bits, dont mind coming to help you. Most important part is selecting the correct area and mounting it level.

I am hesitant, I mounted the TV in my room but made a bit of a mess. Not sure if I'm just not good at drilling or if my drill is Would prefer to have someone do it for the lounge.Hmm, it is not difficult to mount a TV bracket but can be a mission without the proper tools.
I have a swivel type of TV bracket and it is awesome - it allows you to adjust the angle as well so even if you do not mount the TV mount 100% straight you can adjust it so that the TV is straight and you can pull the TV out and push it in and turn it and tilt it etc. etc.
Not something I use all that often, but helps bring the TV a bit closer when you have a small TV lol
If you have such a mount, perhaps you can consider doing it yourself?

Hi, does anyone have any recommendations for any TV mounting services in the Northern Suburbs? I want to have my TV mounted with a swivel mount if possible.
Reaching out to people I found on Google has yielded some dodgey results such as multiple people sending me the same photos to prove their work

Jeez, I thought it was.Well cannabis isn't actually legal yet, just the other day at the SONA Cyril was talking about "We are going to fast-track policy and regulations for the use of cannabis for medicinal use, especially in the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal"
https://businesstech.co.za/news/trending/557190/south-africa-to-fast-track-regulations-for-the-local-cannabis-industry/

Agreed, plus it is legal now. I just feel annoyed they grouped in with narcotics and cocaine, very disappointing to hear. They'll call tomorrow, I'll update here after. You did the right thing.
Last thing you want, is to make a claim, and get denied payment because it comes out you falsified your documentation.
You'll lose everything then, not just credibility

In hindsight I feel a bit stupid for saying yes to that question. But they got me when they said they will be conducting medical tests before starting with the questions.Honestly not sure, however I suspect higher premiums for "drug use".
In their eyes, it is not seen as medicinal. Quite sure on this, unfortunately.
I was advised by my broker to say no to any "drugs".... State that I do not smoke.

Hi, I am currently in process of applying for life insurance. The question of taking cannabis in the last 10 years came up and I answered yes.
Does anyone know what the implications of this are and any advice around further questioning?

Haha all good. So I took the plunge and flushed. Will stick to my original plan :)thank you for this and not going out of your way to call anything "bro science" or any other "silly names"
@CreX I didn't even call your statements "bro science" even though that's literally all it is. I gave you the benefit of the doubt while you came at me swinging and crying. I am not out to get you or catch you slipping, I mean you no harm, nor do I to anyone, but I will not be told actual science is bro science when in fact the reality is just that you like to do things a different way than the theory would have it. and by theory I mean it explains facts with evidence. just because you do it differently and have results you're happy with doing it your way doesn't make factual studies any less factual.
infact, if you say I have a bias, can you quickly quote me where I said what kinda weed I prefer? if you can do so it's a miracle. you, on the other hand, have stated countless times that your theory is based on nothing but your past experience. that's the defenition of having confirmation bias. no science behind that. what my point is, I have no bias, I was repeating evidence. you don't have to agree with it. that's alright. but it's not gona change what the results of the study was and it's not gona make it any less of a study because you feel so. your science is bro science, because it's based on nothing but your feelings.
I won't say anything more cz I am tired of pussy footing around peoples feelings, especially if they have fuckall factual evidence themself and wana fight everi bit of information given to them by pouring anger out all over the story. sorry for those who where just here having a conversation, I was enjoying the valuable back and forth untill the "bro science" was used so contradictingly. sorry for those who had to bare witness and most of all sorry to @Slartibarfast for turing your thread into a octagon
ding ding ding, I'm out
take it ease ouens, I'll take some time to reflect on my actions and try to come back a little softer for you all so I don't get so argumentative

I've read the same but so far I have only not flushed one grow and found that grow to be the harshest smoke. Perhaps I did something else wrong with it but feel like it might have been not flushing.

Hi! I have 2 auto plants that have a decent coverage amber + cloudy trichomes. I recently watered with nutrients on Saturday but now want to flush and harvest on Friday.
Are there any suggestions to stop the trichomes maturing furher while I flush and wait for Friday? Since I do not want them maturing too much further. I was thinking of flushing with FloraKleen this evening.

You might be correct, the temps were quite low around then. Anyway things never improved and I started a new grow, things are still a bit slow but way better than the grow on this discussionI'm using a 240W LED for the first time, coming from HPS. Popped a few seeds a couple of weeks ago and the growth was terribly slow even at 130W. With HPS I would try to maintain the ambient temperature at 26 degrees. I've since raised the ambient temperature in my box to 29 degrees in an attempt to get the leaf surface temperature a bit higher, this seemed to work for me. I am not sure what your temps are, but this could also be a contributing factor.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'll let him know about raising the pot, he is using fabric but it's worth a shot. I don't think it's heat stress since some of the lower leaves are experiencing the same issue.

Hi, actually posting for a friend. He's growing Sour Diesel indoor in coco and the leaves are starting to turn brown. He's been using GHE nutrients following the feeding chart.
He's flushed and started feeding again. Slowed down a bit but it's still happening.
Anyone know what could be wrong?

Thanks, I will do so. That's correct, using the GHE coco focused nutrients

Using Atami High Porosity Cocos. Thanks for all the advice, I will hold off watering any further and see how it goes. I also feel it's too early for nutes, I may introduce at the end of the week maybe.I don't think your light is the issue, you said you're growing in coco? Your own mix?

Hi, I am growing Fast Buds C4. The seed sprouted in soil 11 days ago and the growth seems to be a bit slow. I am using a 3500k 240W quantum board at 60CM from the plant at around 80W. Does this look normal and are there any suggestions as to what I can do to help it speed up? Growing in coco and just been giving it plain water so far. I am tempted to just switch back to my blurple LED light just to help get it into a good veg space.

Harvested, dried and busy curing. Super happy with the result. 117g excluding the popcorn nugs which are still drying.

Feeling pretty dense already. Using the trichomes as a guide to harvest

Looking better after I switched to full strength nutes. Trichomes are looking mostly clear and cloudy with the odd amber here and there.
Any advice on when to flush then harvest? I'm on the 11th week now of this grow, really want some dense buds if possible

I grew this too, it's really nice.

Monstera Root Rot?

Thanks! I already cut the bad parts of the roots and potted in a coco perlite mix with rooting nutrients. But I'll try your suggestion if that doesn't pan out.
