  1. Day 30 (batch 1) and day 27 (batch 2) from seed - 3 confirmed males, 1 with purple sacs early (pictured). At this stage it looks like there will be 5 females and 4 males from the 9. The other pic is the boss male
  2. A cutworm will be orientated on its side when circling the stem, this will leave horizontal bite marks. There are other types of insects that could be responsible but that looks like typical cutworm damage. I see you have other pots nearby.. it could be making the commute nightly (if it's still around). It may have since been killed or could be pupating in your soil somewhere.
  3. That's the type of damage you can expect from a cutworm. They curl around the stem and walk 'n eat in circles. Happens at night and then they burrow back underground.
  4. 11 seeds (10 +1 free) in the tin. 1st batch (6x seeds) into water on Sunday 1st, 2nd batch (5 seeds) Wed 4th. 10 have germinated. Previous pics posted (day 5 & 6) are of seedling A, here's B and C (day 6)..
