  1. Here is an update on the grow. The girls are coming along nicely. Sour Diesel Auto - Day 48 (Pic 4) Gelato Samba Auto - Day 27 (Pic 1) Cocopopo Auto - Day 27 (Pic 2)
  2. My first attempt with a clone was with one of these (the last picture). Don't waste your time bro. I received the plant as it was flipped and I had my plant flower for about 9 weeks or so under what was said to be a 300watt full spectrum LED and I ended up with 10g of airy bud. @growopz is the way to go.
  3. Hey bro, Sorry, I've been away and things have been a bit hectic on my side. Here are some pics taken today... Second pic is the Gelato Samba Auto. I gave her, her first feed of seagrow on Sunday and started her training and she had some nice growth in the last 2 days
  4. Thanks for this bro. I'll give it a try with my next run. I haven't gotten much height but they are growing quite bushy and so far I'm happy
  5. Hey bro, I think at 4 weeks old they should be ready for some LST. I started mine at around 3 weeks or after the second set of true leaves appear and the stem seems strong enough to handle the bend. I haven't gotten to the scrog yet. I think my LST went fairly well for my first time. The tops aren't completely evened out but got some nice bud sites that have formed. Bear in mind that I'm not an experienced grower and just sharing my experience thus far
  6. @afternoon blazer Hey bro, Here are some pics of her. I have a fourth photo active plant in the tent as well but I'll be removing her. Way too much for my 75watt light. I was only going to do 2 autos but the second seed wasn't germinating then I did another (a third) and 2 days later, both seeds had a little tap root poking out so I planted them both and added that with the Sour Diesel Auto that started about 3 weeks before the others. The Gelato Samba is the younger one on the right. Cocopopo to the left
  7. That thing is a bit wonky. I have it set in degrees Celsius but it still gives me these crazy readings. One minute I've got 99% humidity, the next it drops to 10% then jumps back up to 90% and the temperature does the same. I'm going to give this method of feeding/watering a try and will defs lower the concentration of nutes to water
  8. @StickyD420 I'm using enormous bud living soil. And you are correct in assuming that I'm using biobizz nutes. I have the grow and bloom. Most recently used the bloom to feed. Just as per the directions on the bottle. I generally water or feed very slowly. Just a few 100ml at a time and I wait until it kinda works it's way though the soil and when I see some moisture escaping out the bottom, I stop. I'll then start checking the soil after about 3 days for when it needs again. Just by carefully pushing a finger into the soil until the 2nd knuckle. So far I haven't had issues with these autos and hoping that it stays that way. Thanks for the tips and advice, bro. I'm keen to learn more
  9. You reckon it should be tossed out sooner? I'm still very new to growing and welcome any advice, bro. This was something that I've read somewhere. Not to leave the runoff for too long but also to allow the soil to reabsorb some of it.
  10. Thanks bro, but I don't feed this water back to the plants. If the soil hasn't absorbed it a day after I've watered, I pour it down the drain.
  11. I've had a gnat issue with my previous grow attempt (bag seeds). I think that I left my living soil out for too long and these things got in there and laid their eggs. I used some organic fungicide but it didn't seem to help much. I eventually just sprayed the fungicide every other week and kept a few sticky strips up to catch the f@#ckers. it took me a few weeks to get rid of them. I still had the odd 2 or 3 floating around but I wasn't too phased about them. So far, I am about 7 weeks into my new grow and I was careful not to leave the soil out for more that a day and after I used it, I was sure to seal the bag properly. Then, I make sure that the day after a feed or water, I empty whatever water in the drip trays haven't been absorbed back into the soil. So far so good.
  12. I had mine at 55cm in seedling and veg and I've since lowered it to 40cm a week ago. They seem to be happy with the light at that height. No stretching at 55cm and no burn at 40cm. I read somewhere on the growopz website that it could be as close at 20cm from the canopy.
  13. Just a little update on the Autoflower grow Day 35 for the Sour Diesel Auto - Most recent feed was 16/07/2020. Biobizz bloom and molasses. Day 14 for the Gelato Samba Auto and Cocopopo Auto. - Received tap water on the same day. First feed will be in a week. Just planning to give them some seagrow for their first feed. Next feed is scheduled for 20/07/2020
  14. Yeah. Disaster averted. I hope. But I found some UPS on takealot not priced too badly. Thinking of adding one of those boykies to my setup.
  15. I've got mine at 40cm. So far though, I'm really happy with this light. I had a blue dream clone going under a "300watt" no name blurple and I only yielded under 10g. Found some of the diodes weren't working either. Also, I wasn't too clued up on feeds and watering at the time. Keen to see what my harvest will be like this time around.
  16. Same as mine? I've got the QB75 from @growopz I've got 3 autos under there. 1 of them is 3 weeks older than the other 2. Not sure if that's too much. But I intend on getting another board and adding it to the setup. This f@#!king load shedding though!!!
  17. I've only had success germinating this way. Try a bit of root hormone if you're using paper towel method. I find my taproot starts a day earlier than it generally would. But some beans are just more stubborn than others. I've found that, in this grow game...patience is key.
  18. @SkunkPharm I'm keen to get another QB75 from @growopz after this run. Perhaps just add a second board and swap out the driver to run them both.
  19. @GGG I use the enormous bud living soil. I'll post a few updates as they go. Sour Diesel Auto currently undergoing some LST
  20. I generally leave my seed in luke warm water until it sinks (usually takes a day or two) Then I place between 2 damp cotton pads (with a touch of root hormone) and place that into a ziplock bag. I then place the bag into a dark cupboard for a day or two. Usually by the second day I'll have enough tap root grown for me to plant. So I took roughly 3 to 4 days to germ these seeds. Sour Diesel Auto got planted 13/06/2020 - But for the first two weeks, it grew under my old blurple so didn't get much growth until I swapped it out for the QB. Both Gelato Samba and Copopopo Autos were planted on 4-06-2020 Ignore the Temp reading. The thermometer is an absolute fail.
