  1. Day 12th Update: The seedling is slowly making progress. Some roots can now we seen on the side of the cup. Humidity and temperate is now under a bit better control, awaiting the delivery of my humidity controller then it will become much easier.
  2. Looking good. Must say Im also in the begin stages and my growth are also slow. The forum really give great input and guidance. One thing I learned patience are key.
  3. Ok awesome , then I guess Im on track .
  4. One question , how quick does the first real leaves develop on a seedling. My seedling is growing these, extremely slow. Couple mm so far in the last two days. Its not stretching, but not sure if the light is to high so it does not encourage growth?
  5. If i run my exhaust fan on its high setting, it brings it down fast.
  6. Currently , spraying the side of the tent and a wet cloth, old school. Currently working from home, so i keep an eye but need to get to a environment that does everything automatically.
  7. So one question, how do one maintain the Humidity around 60% if one dont have device to regulate that range.
  8. @Ill_Evan I hope i can, it will be difficult could be compared to giving a rookie a Ferrari to drive, does not mean if you have the greatest car that you will make it to the end. But with the forum support i hope to get the first successful grow under the belt to move forward.
  9. Planned to run my Burple light, but with no specs and anything I was not very comfortable. So with some research and asking around I got this light from @Master_G. Want to hit the ground running so will see how everything works out.
  10. @Bakstein420 Thanks man, got worried that two seeds failed but guess third time lucky.
  11. So took me some time to type out my first attempt. So basically my first attempt to germinate a seed was not successful placing the seed into water and then in a Jiffy Pod. The second seed also failed by using the seed in the water method and placing the seed in serviette and bag placed in my germination environment which include a heat pad. I germinated 2x seeds at the same time just to be safe so technically seed 3, germinated using the soaking and serviette method. So the steps below describe the day to day for Seed 3. Seed 3: White Widow CBD (Fem Autoflower) Day 1. 21st June – Placed the seed in Ph`d water around 12h00 noon. Going to leave the seed in water for approximately +-36hrs Day 2. 22nd June – Seed still in the cup of water. Day 3. 23rd June – 36 Hours later, Placed the seed in the damp serviette and placed it in my humidity environment which include a small heat pad , humidity is around 50 to 60 percent. Day 4. 25th June – Seed germinated , small root appeared. Left the baggie for around 24hrs in the humidity environment. (Pic 1) (Pic 2) Day 5. 26th June – Root is around 2cm long, (Pic1) transferred the seed to a Jiffy Pot. (Pic 2) Placed it into humidity environment. Day 6. 27th June – Huge surprise this morning, The seedling was standing 2cm tall. 2x Yellow Leaves (Pic3) (Pic 3) (Pic 4) Day 7. 28th June – Yellow leaves turned green, and seedling is doing well. Removed the Seedling from the Jiffy pod, and planted into a small cup. Cup was filled with Formula 1 grow medium that have been flushed out and watered PH level 6.1. The Seedlings is placed under my new LED lights system.(Pic 4) 150w Lumiled 2d 3030 Leds currently around 60cm away from seedling. Keeping humidity between 30 and 40 percent to encourage the seedling to pull water from the soil and stimulate root growth. Tent temperature around 20-26 degrees. Before After Day8. 29th June – Day 12 3rd July – Steady Growth, watered three days after replanting. Day 16 7th July – Transplanted to a bigger container on the 5th, Steady Growth, Plant really loving the bigger space.

  17. Not sure where GGG , get his products, but found Calcium Magnesium Nitrate @ Hydroponics.co.za https://hydroponic.co.za/hydroponics/calcium-magnesium-nitrate/?attribute_pa_size=1kg https://hydroponic.co.za/hydroponics/hortimix-nutrient-b/ Hortimix Nutrient B (Calcium Nitrate) is a unique combination of nitrate nitrogen and fully water soluble calcium offers many benefits to growers. It’s immediately available for plant use, it improves crop quality, disease and stress tolerance. Please note: Nutrient B needs to be used in conjunction with Nutrient A to provide all the nutrients your plants require. For Flowering plants, you will also require MKP (Bloom Booster) e.g Tomatoes, Peppers, Chillies, Flowers etc. How much do you Need: 350g makes 5l of Concentrated Nutrient Solution. You will then mix (depending on the growth stage of your plant between 1ml to 16ml of Nutrient Solution per 1 litre of water). Please see Feeding schedule below. 18. Thanks, will do i have pushed the humidity to above 60% will monitor and take it from there.
  19. @1000Hills Nursery Thanks, for the info. Will definitely look into getting the Calcium ad Epson Salts. Is the Formula 1 Growing medium ideal to use? Ingredients: Coco Coir, Worm Castings, Perlite (30%), Volcanic Rock Dust, Bone meal, Gypsum, Fermented probiotic bran.
  20. Thanks All, So below is some info on my setup. I created a small propagation dome , with a small heat pad to assist with the germination process. I have tried to germinate one seed bought from Biltong and bugz using Rockwool but it failed to germinate. Seed was left in ph`d water over night, and placed in rock-wool using info i read on you tube. I initially thought the temperature or humidity was at fault , but closely inspecting the seed it was very soft and the contents of the seed was like a white past, so i think the rock wool was too wet. I did not add any water and i added so other none weed seeds into the dome which germinated perfectly, so the other thought could be that the seed was a dud. So as it stand Im attempting to do my second seed, this time using a Jiffy pellet and regulating the temperature and humidity more carefully. trying to keep the temperate between 21.5 and 23 and humidity between 50 -60%. Today is day 2, Im keeping a eye on it daily and had to water the pellet this morning as it was drying out a bit. Feeling more comfortable with this attempt so hope it works. I am using ph`d water of around 5.6 , hope its ok.
