Dry ice is about R20 a kg , with the air movement over it I would guess a 1kg would last 30min and that's being generous . So yea dry ice is not an option lol

Dont think that blog still exists , sorry bud

If you have already flushed her theres nothing to do but wait , if new growth is still clawing after she has dried her pot you will need to flush again. If new growth is fine carry on as normal . Old leaves will not heal themselves so new growth needs to be inspected

What I can do for people since there seems to be a lot of interest from people out of town is send bags , postage would have to be paid unfortunately. Getting a quote from my courier company at a price to send , will be around R75. Or if you order something from growguru they can add a bag in

Personally I would choose another strain. Sativa are not a plant new growers should attempt indoors , plus there 20 week flower cycles sucks.

I've been burnt trying new soils, so I'll stick to what I know and what works for me.

Morning all,
Sorry for the necro. When you say Talborne in your soil mix which one are you referring to? I assume (presume?) it’s the Vita Veg 6:3:4 but would just like to make sure.
Might I just add, you guys (organic cannabis growers) are way ahead of the organic vegetable growers in SA. I’ve been searching literally for weeks for a South African specific mix that I can use for seedling propagation until a friend referred me to this forum.
Thanks for the write-up!

Hi bud
Glad you found the forums . cannabis growing is actually really helping the agricultural fields , especially in the getting the most out of small spaces . For propergation less is always more , seedlings can be very sensitive
I use vita fruit and flower but i have had good results with bio ocean as well

You will be able to get it from one of the leading grow shops. It contains 10+ years of experience refining the perfect mix for growing cannabis but to keep it short and sweet it contains 4 different soils , 6 composts , meals , worm castings , lots of other additives and an EM mix I have been working on for years .

Would anyone be interested in buying my soil? Trying to find out if it would be worth putting time and money into

Hands down dry trim wins .Dark 11-13 degrees at 58-62% humidity for 14 days for ideal drying conditions , for me at least . You want your moisture content of you flowers to be around 10-12% for trimming and curing

Honestly it sounds like they knew there was an issue with the controller they sent you . I have received a few gavita controllers and the grow shops dont test them before they leave the shop so how would he know it had a faulty cable apparently. It sounds like it's a broken unit that's been returned and sent to you as a new one to keep you quiet . I would be extreamly pissed off and demand my money back . Growguru in PE has stock of the controllers , gthydro may have stock again as well. This is a unit was DOA so demand your money back or a new controller .

Reveging - strange initial growth
in Cloning & Propagation

Perfectly normal on a reveg bud , it's also normal for the plant to look worse before it looks better as its having to pull resources from its self to make new roots
