  1. An inoculation of mycorrhizal fungi and earthworm compost at transplanting will help a lot. Get the plant healthy and strong from early on.
  2. Hey everyone I got some beans from the US GSC girl scout cookies X's and im looking for someone to keep a mom, let me know if you keen
  3. Never tried it but I think it's more effective as a foliar.
  4. Been working on an IPM integrated pest management programme this season. Basically you don't want to spray anything during flower, you want to get the plant so strong and the bugs very gone by the time it goes to flower. Although that is very difficult outside. I have been following buildasoil who get a lot of their knowledge from clackamass coot. I am working on a weekly neem spray and then mixing some beauveria bassiana and trichoderma in, both are beneficial microbes. Aloe is also good as it contains salicylic acid and saponins. Salicylic acid kicks in a plants SAR systemic aquired resistance which is the plants defence system. I want to spray once a week with neem and other bought products and then my own homemade pesticides from ferments.
  5. Nice amongst the veggies the SA way. Try some pole beans next summer for camouflage, they excellent for height.
  6. BOOM! Just read this March 11, 2015 The Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Health has just advised me that there will be a presentation by the Department of Health to the committee on the Medical Innovation Bill today after plenary. Public may attend but not participate. The #MedInnovationBill moves into the next phase
  7. Think a safe venue location is the issue. Hmmmm European or American genetics?
  8. Cool. Some liquid kelp and a bit of liquid N fertilisers will help it. Compost tea with crushed malted barley also great. Otherwise try a sprouted seed tea.
  9. Looking great! So you just going to flower her? No mom?
  10. Will be epic. But maybe even a secret cup
  11. Humic is used but I don't have experience with it. Molasses is good. Think soilfoodweb.com have a recipe with humic acid otherwise check microbeorganics.com for molasses recipes. I use a lab formulated mix but don't know what's in it otherwise mostly molasses with some alfalfa / lucerne meal and kelp meal.
  12. A pyrethrum product will kill them. Neem should be used every 72 hours for 4 cycles to get rid of them. A weekly foliar is good as a preventative. Beauveria bassiana is a beneficial microbe that works too. Didn't know you can get ladybugs here that's cool
