Not even half a light and when you are over 1000 micromol.. you just waste energy without a CO2 generator. At the end depends a bit how "good" your weed has to be.. good weed costs money  and in my book.. that isn't really expensive for a CO2 burner.. 6k is a fair offer  

The Epogee PAR meter was over 10k.. just to give an idea of how much pro gear costs.

We gave the Mars 144 also a short measurement with the Apogee Quantum Flux sensor. And were rather impressive too

127 Watt veg it makes 520 micromol  at 45cm

178 Watt flower it brings 980 micromol at 30cm

Some rather killer numbers for the consumption.

My inner feeling wasn't wrong ^^ the TS3 is a really good lamp.. and we talk really good. For the price.. very hard to beat

We had a quick look on the 301B and the TS3000 and measured some PAR with a Apogee SQ-500 Quantum Flux tool.

First hehehe don't mess with the TS3000 ^^ Also saw.. I can go quite some up in hanging distance.. flower distance of 30cm she hits around 1250 micromol at center (to much without permanent CO2 generator). The 301B reached 1150 on center.. but the Lamp has also a different layout for the boards. Monday we make a test environment and set some measure points in a empty 1.2x1.2 and see how they compare as soon as the new lamps arrive. He has B boards lamp shipping (SA local).. my H boards will be faster from China... and the SA guy wrote him last week, lamp is done, gets tested and shipped. Nope.. nothing shipped.. empty promise. When my China boards are here Monday, they were a week faster as the SA local lamp, which was apparently on stock. (Who else beside me thinks that was a blatant lie?)

We also had the sensor in the outside sun and that was a way bigger eye opener. Around 2 o'clock, the thingy was reading 2200 micromol.. so more than enough to actually run some plants outside. Light duration still the issue, but down here in the Southern hemisphere you can do what is a absolute no go in Europe. So I revise my statement done before.. yes, you can grow in winter.. sun packs still a punch. Just duration and temp.. had 7 degrees this morning... germinating seeds would not survive that temp.

@PsyCLown They give 1 QB of mine with 125Watt.. I prefer to run em not hot.. and 2 QBs on one HLG-240H-48... might be to much or the thingy runs hot all the time.. 250 watts.. na, I run one driver per QB.. and have a spare. If I run into any issues.. have no real down time on the lamp. Each TS also has a driver for each board (2 510 boards)).. I like the setup. If the driver fails, the lamp is not going dark.. just 50% loss.

Wups.. missed that one. Yes, there are customs charges and as much as I like to be fair.. I told them to enter the correct amount when sending. Next order.. I will kindly ask them to put 18$ as price per product. Customs charged me 2200Rand for the 6500R product value. That is just a little greedy in my eyes. So if you order.. add a friendly remark, the Chinese do those cheats with zero problem.

If you only have PM and no other pests, keep the wash short.. and I wouldn't do warm water as it softens the trichome substance a lot.

For PM only, I would only recommend a 2 bucket wash. First Bicarb of Soda, 2g per liter and a tap cold rinse with clear filtered water. 

You only do peroxide and lemon juice to shock crawlies. Spider Mites and such. PM lets go very easy with just Bicarb of Soda.

If you have to heat.. I really recommend Gas.. gives you heat and CO2.. double benefit

And exactly that is the reason why I go with QBs  I don't want to go over all the needed parameters one at the time.  

On the Quantum Boards I just go for the 3000k 660nm version.. you should get one board for 31$ if you look around on Aliexpress. I went for the H.. because I didn't read up and my inner greed was to big hehehe we can also say.. I shot my own leg.. but at the end I just want to see what is the difference from the V3 boards to the older ones. My goal is still to go solar for my indoor system, so using less energy is something I aim for.

Amnesia Haze in one of my top10. Weed is nice from flavor to high. One of those perfect day smokes you can get

The QBs are with UPS (63$).. and more than double as fast as quoted.. I thought they will need 12 days at least.. 5 days ^^ DHL with the drivers was also 5 days, so yes.. they are on time. Just never ever use EMS for shipping right now. Termination over Post Office might be a painful experience.. a bit like usual hehehe

I saw the free express shipping on checkout.. I didn't saw or knew it was free. 

I might want to add.. the China order I contacted the seller. Ordered Friday and when nothing was moving Wednesday. I wrote a friendly contact message.. if not moving by today, refund and I order somewhere else. Got the tracker very short after..

Lets give them the benefit of the doubt regarding the situation. They might have one "shitload" of emails from people in the same spot like you. Me personal, I would go over each and respond, but the more orders pile up due to no seed delivery.. the more emails they will get.. we all ask where your freakin seeds are 

If you took import seeds..  you sit in the same boat as me in a way ^^ wait for the stuff to arrive  I pray they are not crushed.. ^^

I got me some Bubblelicious and Blue Cheese Autos from the mentioned website above.. to bridge the gap 

Storage has even stricter rules when you handle your seeds.. never touch them with your fingers in the first place. Wear sterile gloves when you handle them in your storage. 

I have silica packs in my thermos container, but not with the seeds directly. If you live in a dry area.. no need, I have a really close ocean.. we always have moisture in the air. Keep them dry but also don't crisp them ^^ they go 0% moisture inside, they die too. 

@Naughty.Psychonaut I like flexible lights too.. that is why I turn each QB into a lamp of its own. I like to hang and distance depending on canape shape

There is no real reason to go for the H.. the B have same diodes, just less good environment protection.. the B's will do and are cheaper..

I do a final LED count (i made a hand count on the TS3 and my number diverts to their website,) when the boards are here and measure some PAR to see what is fair.. ^^ but only 3 QBs max make sense to run against the TS3. otherwise.. I can stick with my TS3s anyhow  they would have less diodes and less watt usage. Going down with the energy consumption is more my goal.. yield on the TS3s is great.
