shot, ironically i upload insta pics to forum as they have minor edits done, whats your nic on IG.

on a side note, Fucking bleak about that "clean" system, bumped my bongalong naughty vase off the table wall mounting my power surge strip and ballasts.

i knew i shouldn't fuck with stuff at 1am but it was bugging me...

so very very very bleak...silicon from here on out, im done replacing bongs, the heartbreak is too damn much

Its always heart wrenching when a piece goes down, if its been in the family long and you have sentimental value to it, i'm very sure that bongalong can do a repair on it.

But i get the 1am fiddles, when i also have a bright spark i like to implement it as soon as i can.

  2. ITS TIME!!!! For the Maaaaaaaain Event Of the evening :classic_cool:  In the red corner, weighing in at a 55kg, 10x20m, 200mm thick Anti Drip Greenhouse Plastic!!!!!

The last post you would see its late afternoon as we finished up with the last uprights and cross bracing, me and the boys said screw it the plastic is going on tonight!!!!

This is just as we got it over the structure being held down by wood sitting on it on the outside......but we first had to do a very important thing before cladding it all down ☝️

So with the sun setting and working with mozzies chowing us left and right the wasint much time for taking photos in this phase.

i did manage to snap a very scientific picture of showing the condescension on the plastic while we were working.

                                                                                                       IMG_20190105_204003.thumb.jpg.e234100c0df9978af3bd3e6921eaaad3.jpg

We cladded the sides of the plastic down and left the front for the morning as she wasn't going anywhere.

For those who have been following along till this point, I am very happy to show the finished Greenhouse Structure, Still some internal work to be done but for external she is finished :-rolled

Front is Double cladded with 38x15mm strips all round to be 100% sure that plastic ain't going anywhere. The sides were cladded from inside the GH.

                                                                    IMG_20190106_144801.thumb.jpg.2483b600b19f1ea6ff15fcb2ada0c09e.jpg

Now for the fun work to begin :-flyinghi

Sho now Look, I dont really comment all that much but feel that this is needed.

    @LED God
This is a place for local growers to help and share info. The last thing we need here is someone like yourself... I see nothing of value or relevance added from any of your comments. but what I can see is that you are one Hypocritical Narcissist with a bit of a superiority complex and a splash of Bipolar sprinkled on top.

There are some good people here, No one here takes interest in any pissing contests or condescending slants towards one another. So unless you wish to contribute in a respectful and positive manner, I'd suggest you move along nicely and get going to whatever 'major' international circles you move in.

  4. I paid next to nothing for the lights so wont be to big of a deal to not use them.

By CFL you mean just hang them from wires from the roof? @Green Leaf Organics  so in a sense nothing blocking natural sun but still have them permanently in the grow space.

i've seen other greenhouse ops do this method, just don't know the results of them.

  5. Alright i get the concept a bit better no with that "eclipse" reference :classic_tongue:

Will use the boxes for now but i see the valid points brought up. i don't want to cast a dark shadow over the plants so will have to tinker with the concept for now.

Thinking about it you may just want to put a few CFL lights in . Those large light boxes are going to block the sun.... just a though

Was also thinking the exact same thing. Maybe just put them on a timer to go on in mid day when the sun is over head for that hour or so?

But they will be fitted in a way that they can be removed in flower stage for sure. :-thumbsup

Then you just need light .I would just stick with what you have as it's a cheaper option with no benefit to spending extra cash on led . All you would really need is few cfls to keep things in veg  . Love your setup man , I can see you have done your research and I know how much work setting something like this up is. Very well put together bud with no short cuts 👍

Wow....really appreciate the kind words, little star struck not even going to lie :classic_happy:

I joined the forum end of last year and all the active posters were for sure a real inspiration, especially @Green Leaf Organics with the heaps of  knowledge always shared to the community.

@McB Funny you say that because your OP i drool over on a daily :classic_rolleyes:

Little back story to this project is that i had enough budgeted for a indoor setup but would have been with your basic equipment. what i have learned from you both is that there is no cheaping out on equipment so hopefully this December GH project will help me to be able to begin a indoor setup for this years December project.

Basically in my head i was like "if i cant buy a Gavita then there's no point"
