  1. Welcome! Ok, first off sounds like you're in Jhb. If you're going organic, which it sounds like you have with the 'living soil', then use organic nutes and not salt based nutes like Nutrigold. Look at Bud Juice's range, BioBizz's range or B'Cuzz's range of organic nutes. A two part nute is usually best because it's simplest to use. Don't waste money on a soil PH meter, get an all-in-one pen (EC/PH/PPM) and that will do everything you need. Buy once, cry once (they're not cheap). Then you'll need PH Down and PH Up to maintain a decent PH. A microbe solution like EM Pro Soil is great for additional microbials in your soil. Look up 'pinching'/'topping' and how to do it. Some LST (Low Stress Training) will help your plant get better coverage and spread out wider. Oh and get a quality pressure sprayer, like the Gardena one. Spray your plants once they get to about their 3rd/4th set of leaves with a good organic pesticide to keep the bugs off. Keep spraying regularly. That's it! Simple as that
  2. Indoors, yes. I haven't heard of 350SC, but I'll track it down. Will it leave a residue on the flowers?
  3. Absolutely. Is there anywhere in S.A where we can buy live Ladybugs?
  4. Hi Folks, During a routine check tonight, I discovered some of my girls have Aphids on them. F%ck knows how they got in, but they are here. Question: how do I get rid of these buggers in week 2 of flower?
  5. I've only used their PK finishing nute, which seemed to work well. I can't speak for their Grow and Bloom nutes though. IMHO they're priced for the European/US market and too expensive in general.
  6. Hey folks, Just got one of these, 600w CMH 3000k SE lamps from HydroDepot and am really keen to see the difference, (if there is one) between CMH, HPS and LED. Anyone using one?
  7. Thank you Admin! Much appreciated.
  8. Necro post, but it looks very much like a Crab Spider. They have the same characteristic yellow/green colouration.
  9. Good afternoon good folk, Another forum newbie introducing himself, old skool grower/smoker and forum newbie. "Hi!" Have been a part of many other forums over the years, so I understand forum etiquette well. Have a blessed day folks!
  10. Hi Folks, I have a clone setup for sale, only used once (just prefer the old way of doing it using Jiffy's) and now up for sale as they're gathering dust. 1 x Viagrow VCLN24 Clone Machine 24 Site Aeroponic Hydroponic System, Single, Black 1 x LIGHTHOUSE CLONE TENT (0.7M X 0.5M X 0.9M) -Small tent for propagation -Size: 700 mm x 500 mm x 900 mm (when on long edge as propagation tent). -The unit can be used as a propagation tent or turned upright to be used as a small grow tent in its own right. -Extraction is via two 100 mm (4”) socks and a passive air vent fitted with fine (anti-mite) mesh. -Comes with an integral waterproof tray. -Tri-Layer 210 Denier material with special LightHouse UltraLux reflective liner. -Quality Tivax double lined zips that are easy to use and offers good light proofing with no snagging. -Main frame made from 16 mm steel pole with nylon corners The Viagrow Clone 24 machine is designed to clone plants faster than and easier than traditional methods. The Viagrow Clone 24 machine uses an aeroponic misting system which sprays the cuttings encouraging and promoting fast root development. The Viagrow clone 24 comes with reservoir, 24 site lid which includes a no leak cord port and air hose port should you wish to aerate the reservoir with an air stone and air pump (air stone and air pump not included and not necessarily recommended), 25 multi colored neoprene collars, clone pump with internal filter for no clog operation, clone manifold with 360° misters. Simply dip your cuttings into the cloning gel of your choice and insert the cuttings into the neoprene collars. Add 15 mil of the cloning solution of your choice to the reservoir with 2 Gal. of water, plug the clone machine in and watch for the first signs of roots to appear. Once your cuttings have rooted, transplant the clones into any desirable grow substrate. The Viagrow 24 clone machine is easy to assemble and easy to use. For best results, use with the ViaVolt T5 HO grow light fixtures. Mount grow light fixtures eight to 12 in. above the clone machine.
