  2. I will most definitely do that but that'll probably be towards the end of the year. I just checked up on that black/white poly film that Hortishop sells and I've worked out the rough total cost of everything based on the size that I wanna make the tent 50mm PVC Piping frame including connections (Builders Warehouse) - R505-00 Black/White Poly Film - R220-00 That makes a total of R725-00 which is not too bad...seeing as commercial tents go for over a grand for that size. Not sure about the pricee of the zippers but I'm sure they won't be too much. Else I'll just use velcro (know of a cheap supplier) For now I'll be saving up and then I'll definitely post up the pics when I get the project going
  3. Hi all I'm in the process of planning to build my own grow tent. Planned size is 120cm(Width) x 160cm(Height) x 120cm(Depth) . I want to fit at least 4 plants in there. First I considered building a grow cabinet but that will be too pricey. So I found out about building a grow tent with PVC piping as the frame as it can work out a lot cheaper than wood or steel. I've already planned out the frame and worked out the cost. My only concern is the actual material to wrap the tent with. Overseas they use something called "Panda Film" and you don't get that here in SA so does anybody know of any decent, possible and mostly affordable alternatives? It must be lightproof but doesn't have to be reflective as I will line it with sisalation anyway. Any advice would be much appreciated!!!
  4. Looking good bro!! Your pineapple express is EVERYWHERE! Huge! If I had to nit pick I'd probably say your plant on the far left is slightly overfed with the curling and leaf tips pointing down. Otherwise you are looking at one big harvest! Nice going
  5. What have you been medicating with recently??? Share with us!

You can see your Like Notifications by clicking Show Likes notification at the top left of the page by the date & time. Hope you all find the system useful
  13. Is that how seed breeders actually produce Feminized seeds??
  14. I've only ordered from Original Sensible but have read and heard of success from the others. On some occasions Sannies tracked options were confiscated however he will resend them until they get to you I believe.
  15. Hard luck on the hermie there roker Feel free to start a grow log of your plants on the Marijuanalogs Board. That way we can follow your grow easier and can help you out with whatever issues may arise. Will also be another much needed GSR Grow Log.
  16. Thanks Danky. Look forward to that!! Some clarity on GSR is definitely needed
  17. As many experienced growers in the Cape will know, there is one big obstacle that stands in the way of ordering seeds overseas and that is CAPEMAIL > CapeMail is the central mail hub of the Western Cape and the majority of international mail (and most local mail except for couriers) goes through there. For some reason their security is a lot more jacked up than the rest of the country and they do confiscate seeds on a regular basis. I haven't heard of anyone being arrested as a result but you most definitely won't be getting those beans you've been so excited about :'( While this can be a very frightening prospect there are options of bypassing this system and they have proved successful. Here are your options: 1. Order your seeds Untracked - Untracked envelopes or packages don't go through the same security procedures as the tracked one's. I've had success with this method. 2. Order Small - The larger your order the more risky it gets. I would personally say order 3-5 seeds at a time but you can try push it if you feel brave. 3. Select a sellers Stealth delivery method - This may involve stealthy packaging or they will ship your seeds with an item of clothing or something to divert any attention from the seeds. However you may end up paying import taxes on that item. 4. If you want to order large have your seeds shipped to a trusted person elsewhere in the country and then have them courier the seeds to you. Here is a list of a couple trusted websites that people have had success with: http://original-ssc.com/ http://www.cannazon.com/ http://www.bonzaseeds.com/ http://www.sanniesshop.com/?sl=EN Any sites to add to this? 22. These are diaries of your grows recorded on our forum for everyone to see Diaries provide a reference point for other growers to see different strains in action, learn, compare their grows to yours and to showcase genetics. How frequently you update your grow log is up to you but a once a week update is usually the norm. When recording your grow please remember to state the following details of your grow: • The strains of cannabis you are going to grow • Are you growing indoors or outdoors • The Grow Space you will be utilising • What medium you will be growing in • What nutrients and supplements you will be using for your grow • What lighting you will be using if growing indoors • All the other equipment you will be using if you feel it is worthy of mentioning. • Any other important info too! Document your grow with good quality photo's and your comments as you go along. 420SA
  23. Here is a quick and highly effective way of germinating your seeds This is what you'll need: • Your Seeds • Some Cotton Wool or Tissue • Clean Water • A plastic container or plate Step 1 Wet Your Cotton Wool and squeeze out some of the water so that the cotton wool is moist but not dripping wet. Flatten out the cotton wool and lay your seeds onto the cotton wool like below Step 2 Fold the one side of the wool over the other so that the seeds are covered all round in moist material. Step 3 Place the container in a dark area away from any direct light and allow the seeds to sit for at least 48 hours before checking the seeds. Some seeds can take 48 hours, some 72 hours and some can even take 2 weeks to show a root so be patient and give the seed a chance until all hope is lost. Once your seeds have popped their roots you will see something like below Once the white root has emerged a few millemeters you can go ahead and plant the seed in your growing medium. Step 4 Create a small hole in your growing medium no deeper than 1 centimeter, no shallower than 5 millimeters. Place the seed in the hole with the white root facing down towards the bottom of the pot. Cover the hole up and water gently with a little water to keep the soil moist. Wait for the seedlings to emerge in a few days and your journey has begun
  24. Greetings Huzair First off.... have you ever grown before? If not... growing with Autoflowers can be quite risky as they don't give you much leeway for recovery time should your plants experience issues and issues can very easily creep up on you in your rookie days... Growing with regulars or feminized seeds lets you choose when the plants should flower
