High there chaps,

Joining and commenting on the forum is long overdue, sorry!

I'm the co-founder and editor at BTL. Been passionate about cannabis culture and legalisation for a long time, and just want to do my part to spread the word in the medium I know best. I've been living and working in Amsterdam for the past 2 years as an interaction designer at a digital agency. Even though I'm currently living abroad, I'm still involved in the South African green movement; the internet really makes the world a small place. It's wonderful. That being said, Cape Town, South Africa will always be home and I'm really looking forward to moving back in the next year or so.

Super cool to see a new cannabis forum in SA. I wish you guys the best and you'll definitely see me around here more often :)

Peace!

So how is the scene in the Dam?

Are us out of towners welcome to smoke anymore?

Yep. It's still a free for all here in Amsterdam and most placed in the Netherlands :) They closed down a bunch of coffeeshops that were too close to schools, but that's a good thing imho.

Prices roughly the same as in SA, except you can pay on your credit card and get a receipt. Some of the border towns are funny about selling to foreigners... They might ask for your dutch residence card. It's mostly an issue because people from bordering countries where weed is illegal can just drive here, buy some weed and drive home.
