Okay here are the pics I promised!!

I got some lights off pics as well as a ruler for size

Not to shabby if you ask my humble opinion 😍😜😎

As you can see from the amount of white still left, I have a few weeks remaining for her

  2. After much deliberating I decided to submit T3 as my submission for the comp.

    Here are her final pictures.

She was grown in a 10L grow bag, with organic soil from Organic Matters and fed on GHE nutrients twice weekly and black strap molasses and Epson salts on a bi weekly schedule.

Thank you to @420SAand @Totemicfor this amazing opportunity to grow these incredible genetics. I had a blast.

Thank you to all the other growers for the support and the competition throughout.

  3. How does the judging work if you still have three plants? Do we need to chose one plant to be judged on or will we judged on the entire grow?

And should we hold of on harvesting and advise that we're ready for judging or is judging done on pictures throughout our diaries?

And would the judges like pictures showing some sizes of buds and cola's?

  4. Update:

T3 is ready to go. Milky and orange trichomes all around. Leaves fading proper purple now.

Eventhough she was grown in organic soil, she was fed GHE nutrients so need to flush out some of those salts. I've flushed with just plain tap water PH 6.5.

I'll be putting her in 48hrs of darkness this evening, ready to harvest on Tuesday morning first thing.

    Time for some pictures.

  5. Starting to see a purple fade on another plant now. Time to whip out the microscope again. These girls are close.

I'll post again later with some measurements too.

  6. I've taken a few shots with the microscope to check how the trichomes are looking. It's super difficult to hold the microscope and phone still to take the pic.

I recon they can go a bit longer.

  7. Tuesday 31st August : week 9 of flower.

Orange pistils all around, even the phone camera detected the plants as fireworks when taking the pictures. Lol Fireworks is no lie. The ladies are looking hot!!!

Super frosty all over too, and smelling amazing!

T2 is my top performer out of the topped plants. Admittedly, not the fattest of buds but I'm super happy with the grow. They survived one of the coldest winters we've had in a long time.

I think it's time to take the microscope out to have a look at some trichomes.

They looking good. That's not a deficiency... Some phenos do purple as they fade right from about the 7 week mark

You know initially it's exactly what I thought because I've seen loads of plants look like this from other growers but this competition has made me question everything lately. It's been great to have all the experience and expertise of all the other growers commenting on your own grow. I'm really enjoying growing your genetics, so I thank you again.

Loving this competition too. I'll definitely be back for the next one.

  9. Tuesday 23rd August: week 8 of flower.

Ladies still looking good. T3 has started developing a purple color to her leaves. My research reveals this to be a phosphorus deficiency. It must be related to the nutrients I'm giving her because another plant on the same feed cycle as her is doing the same.

She's currently on GHE Bloom 3ml/l

I'll flush her over the next few days to try sort it out.

Photos taken just after lights off tonight.

  10. Tuesday 10/08/2021: week 6 of flower.

Ladies all looking fantastic this morning. Buds all over the place and starting to fill out.

All three ladies were fed a mixture of black strap molasses and Epson salts yesterday.

33 Days since flip to 12/12 light schedule. Light problems sorted and ladies looking well on track. Even starting to see them getting a little frosty.

Have a lekker day out there everyone.

  12. So I've been looking at all the other entrants pictures lately and feeling very behind, wondering what I'm doing wrong. Why do my plants look so far behind in flowering? 3 weeks in and they're still very small. I've ensured that there's no light bleeding into the tent but still, the ladies are moving slow.

    This morning it hit me.

In my attempt to increase the heat in the tent with a heat matt. I totally forgot about the darn led display on the thermostat.

    IMG_20210801_175224.thumb.jpg.85adcac72e8714f97f4c9a7978af93a5.jpg

This what it looks like with lights off.

To all the experienced growers in here, do you think the ladies will bounce into shape now that I've turned this off? I could actually just move it outside the tent too.

Luckily, the weather is getting warmer so don't really need it anymore.
