There goes 25% of my girls. I spose one in four is not bad. Two are definitely fem and I am not able to tell on the last yet.

Ph is up at 6.5. Gave the girls a good foliar spray with some Epsom salts and they are already looking better. Going to change my watering cycle from every second to every third day.  Cheers

Hey coco. I came to the same conclusion. My ph was 5.4 so I was getting lockout on pot mag and cal. Kicked it up to 6.5 and giving a foliar spray with Epsom salts. Hoping it will do the trick. Cheers

Hey guys. I'm still only six weeks into first grow. My girls are getting these spots on there leaves but only 2 outa 4 and I have nooo idea. Please help save my plants.

I'm sitting in my grow room now with my coffee and a smoke. I keep the room at 25c so the tent is constantly 23-25. Just put my gaming bag into the room. Best pozzy in the house

Finally got some time today to get stuck into my veg/clone cupboard.  I have reworked the lights. I have a mat silver anadised spray paint that i have used on my reflector instead of the tinfoil. The entire electrical system is earthed. I have 1x85w 6500k cfl 1x65w 4500k cfl and 4x12w led grow lights. I am waiting for my mylar to arrive but for the time being  its painted white with high density foam rubber on the bottom. Currently I have two holes up top with a four inch computer fan sucking on the one hole with another single hole down low. Tomorrow I get time to finish up and neaten wires etc. Just seeing what temps do tonight before I decide on insulation. This is my first cupboard so be nice when you telling me how I should do it. Hey guys. I want to know if any of you have received beans in a letter. I just discovered yesterday that three beans in my order from attitude are cracked. So far attitude has been really good about this. They just asked me to send pics. Time will tell there but I am not seeing any problems with them just getting them here quickly. With our post service being so terrible I was wondering about getting my order sent to a friend in Europe and then have it sent airmail as a letter with the beans tucked in safely in the envelope to me. Or alternatively I can have a letter couriered to me with my beans. Any tips or opinions would be appreciated.

So i have been using cal/mag since i switched to RO water. Never had an issue with it so far. Plants are all ok with 90 ppm to 180ppm of it

I have it in a Ziplock bag, and it does create some moisture inside it, i have changed it to a new bag, was ok for a while, but after a few times opening and closing, it seems to always come back.

 

Can i make a mix of RO water + ca/mg and store  it in a liquid form? thus, avoiding messing a lot with the zip.

If possible, for how long can i keep it and what concentration would be reasonable?

Try a glass herb bottle. They got the pouring top. No fiddling with ziplocks

I'm in my first grow. 4 Ambesia Haze under 2x300w led grow panels. I'm growing in a coco perlite mix using nutriplex 4ml each per 10l. I transplanted my girls yesterday and they are looking terrible. Please help. Will upload some close ups shortly

@Maxell. Thanks bud. 50l is going to have to big enough for now as I can't get bigger where I live. Do I stick to the same mixing volumes of nutrients as I was using when I watered by hand ie the nuitriplex mixing chart or should I make it a bit weaker as its a continuous feed. Thanks

@Kaiju thanks bud. I think I didn't explain myslef properly. I already have four ah growing in 2l pots. I need to keep them alive for a week to ten days wile I'm away. I have got the engineering behind it I just need some help on nutrient concentration for the reservoir and flow rate so I don't kill them. My setup will be same as the pic except I will have four pots in the tray as opposed to them growing in the tray. This is an emergency to try save my plants wile I'm away. Only found out a few hours back that I'm going to need to crawl out from under my rock for a wile

Is that tin foil you used ?

Yeah it is and roofing aluminium tape to reinforce the edging  but if you read further in the feed there is excellent info on reflective surfaces and the dangers of using aluminium like that. I didn't know this

Do yourself a favour, and wire an earth connection onto that reflector. Do that with anything you build yourself.

No ifs or buts. Make sure that the lead/ extension cable supplying your cab has an earth wire, and connect the earth on every appliance ( light/fan/timer/ whatever) that has an earth connection.

so as you can see you would probably be better off using flat white paint than tin foil for your reflector my man.

Wow....thanks for all the info. Can I live in your head for a wile please. I will be putting mylar 2mm on the wall when it arrives and I get a chance. I have my eyes out for some off cuts of stainlees plate to make a better reflector. I had no idea aluminium is a fire hazard and a waste of light. I'll get stuck into that tomorrow. For the moment I painted the interior surface with white enamel I will recoat with mat white tomorrow when I paint the reflector. It's really just until I get to put mylar up. Again thanks for all the information and will update after the changes

I need to set up a drip irrigation for my four amnesia haze. I have never done this before so I have no idea where to begin. My food is the nuitriplex range and a reservoir of 25 or 50l. Medium is 50/50 coco perlite and my plants are 29days from sprout. Any help here would be great. Normally I'd research this my self but I only have a day to sort this out so please help me so I don't lose my girls. Thanks
