  1. I'm already in kak for taking up half the freezer space. Luckily I'll be starting the Hash making tomorrow or Saturday. Due to remote living we need the freezer space for important stuff like food. WTF? This is the first time I'm using terp loc grove bags and they will be re - used but mostly I'm using my collection of mason jars. I'm going to try using one of those black tote bins for now and hopefully that will work till I get to town in a couple of weeks. Yep. Can't buy fucking jam jars out here and 300 bucks petrol to the nearest place and back that do stock it. In the meantime I have put a 3g for 1 jar offer on the Bush Telegraph bartering group. Fighting humidity 101 here but getting there. Did a little test run with a couple of hands full of trim with my latest purchase. My wife got sent to town on a mission by her boss.
  2. So typical me I didn't think things through again. Starting to look like a dispensary in here and I'm only halfway through trim jail and run out of curing vessels. Freezer is full (800g trim, popcorn and some washed bud) waiting to be turned into hash. So freezing not an option. I need suggestions on storing close to another 1kg until I can get my hands on more jars and grove bags.
  3. Getting there. Burnt a few plants during my first h2o2 wash. Lesson learnt. High humidity and mould seem to be the challenge at the moment but I think I got a handle on it. DIY drying box using some chicken wire.
  4. Cancel all appointments and hold the calls. Managed another 6 days with 1 days heavy rain. Don't think she would have appreciated today's rain.
  5. As close as I can get to drying room conditions. Fan on 24/7 then another fan sometimes, sometimes the heater is on and sometimes I have to open the door a bit. Juggling job of note. Unfortunately overnight temps drop and humidity climbs to 80%. Don't like leaving a heater on overnight. 11 hanging and 12 still in shade house.
  6. Fuck it. I'm gonna ride out the storm. Plants still need some time. 17 left in the shade house looking very top heavy. I'll do running repairs. 6 with signs of bud rot appearing have been chopped over the last week and hanging.
  7. 10 days of rain predicted starting with 96% tonight. This season is fast coming to an end wether I like it or not.
  8. you know how to keep the addiction going. Think I learnt a lot this season.
  9. @Bay Seeds Wonderland Express autoflower. Chopped today. Day 76ish. I totally did something wrong with this batch. Wish I didn't but learnt a lot. I chopped and nose shoved the bud in my wifes face and asked about aromas. Smells like death she says. Can't wait until the smoke test. Small plant but the, I don't know how to explain. I'm proud to have grown this plant with such deep colours. Thanks bud.
  10. Sorry. Upload changed the pic order on the purple and wet trim. Sure you can figure it out. ☺
  11. 1st 3 pics chopped & wet trimmed 4 days back. Following 3 chopped & wet trimmed today. Bud rot appearing but not too bad. Purple plants Wonderland Express autoflower from @Bay Seeds. Then the rest. Shitting myself. Weatherman says kak weather the next two weeks besides the normal West Coast mist.
  12. My favourite 6 in no particular order. Bud shot, portrait shot followed by top shot.
  13. @Bay Seeds autoflower in the shade house. If it sprouts on the reservation I nurture it. Working on a plan for a greenhouse, MAN, autoflowers are a real challenge.
  14. Looks worse than it is. Just hope the kid gives me time to get in there and do some staking today. Sent from my SM-A032F using Tapatalk
  15. Yep. The misty mornings are back on top of everything else. Sent from my SM-A032F using Tapatalk
  16. A wet morning on the reservation. Sent from my SM-A032F using Tapatalk
  17. Recap. Once again my outdoor grow was a flop. Bay Seeds Anastasia 99 autoflower performed well until the caterpillars arrived on the scene. The photoperiods I had to move into the shade house as the climate was klapping them six nil. Already working on next seasons outdoor attempt. This grow is a mix of Totemic and Bay Seeds genetics. Gardeners Delight as none have been labeled. I wanted to spend this season learning about the plant. @Totemic: CG x SL CG x GTH GTH x OKC @Bay Seeds: Glamberry x LG OG Master Lester I started with a 128 seedling tray using a seedling mix (no cost) our landladies make for fynbos propagation. 118 seeds sprouted. Soil I used cost R25/40l from a local nursery wholesaler which I added perlite to. First few waterings I added molasses. Seagro was also used maybe 3 or 4 times as a foliar when I ran out of molasses. A top dress of Gardeners Gold Dust was added. Then I think I fucked up by adding Rose & Flower fertilizer but I got off lightly. The next week or two I'll be feeding some Sea-Rock phosphorus liquid fertilizer. Just in case you are wondering. No, not all at the same time. The above happened in stages. Pest control has pretty much been manual this grow. I'm out here minimum twice a day checking. First sign of any spider mite or any other poop or infestation I remove all effected leaves and give a spray of Biogro Neudosan. Of the 118 that sprouted I gifted about 20 and had to be brutal culling the ugly ducklings due to soil availability. There are two plants left outdoors from about 18 and 24 in the shade house. Heading into the final straight. Pic 1 & 2 outdoors. Last pic is produce from the worm bin.
