    @Master_Gis right though...

You have signs of magnesium deficiency.

I would add some magnesium sulphate to your next feed.

Epsom salts is the stuff you need👌

Buy a box from pnp for like 20 bucks... And give some to her...

It's pretty hard to over do it. But I would go in at a level teaspoon and see the difference.

Repeat this once a week for 2 weeks and then monitor from there.

    @CreX hi.
do you know if the Epsom salt would mess with microb and organic Biobizz feed in freedom farm soil and how much per liter, I think I read a teaspoon?
    cheers.

I use the entire range of biobizz in freedom farm classic i also add biodyne and kelpak. I feed every watering less than half of recommend dosage.

I normally dont have problems but i also struggled with my current grow. I ended up mixing some calcitic lime in the top soil and it solved my problem. Looked to me like calcium deficiency

    Hey Doc

what did the lime sort out, I’ve not heard of that before?

I must say it was pretty weird to see the soil for the first time, not what I expected in looks, to me it looks more like coco. But yeah my plants did really well and easy in the first few weeks I don’t know what happened now but most of my plants are dropping I think it’s PH and I bought microbs and molasses today to add to my Biobizz feed. Wish me and the girls luck.

It’s like they aren’t drinking and look weak, a real downer at the moment! This morning when I fed them grow and bloom at a 1/4 feed they were also wilting, after the feed they picked up their leave but a few hours later dropped again🤯😢 I’m stumped and can only think it’s PH. I had my PH at 6.5 but I’ll drop that to 5.8 ish and add microb my next watering and pray to the growing gods.

Its a good soil. But think they can add a bit more to the soil. Now they add just enough for you to have to feed something.

I would however not use it as is again. Not without adding some worm castings and some amendments. Like softrock phosphate and basalt rock dust. Maybe some alfalfa meal and kelp meal.

Yeah I’m trying to get the feel for FF in this run, learning as I go and from you guys in my attempt to go a bit more organic.

Good looking out bru. Now that you mention it I do see alot of bigger leaves covering up smaller bud sites. LST is something I'm itching to try on her but I'm still too much of a noob😅 (miaaauw)  It may be too late too start now but next run I'll be going with photo's and work on my training game💪🏼 seen some insane plant training around here man and I'm eager to get in the action🔥

Hit any of the dudes up on this site for advise and views on LST everyone is so Irie and will to share their knowledge and experience, I agree have fun and have more fun learning as we all do growing. The learning never stops dude.

    peace.

    Hey howzit guys

Finally got some action and things are starting to smell😁 Finishing week 6 going into week 7. Passing the halfway mark.

I got my baby a new home. Previous space was too cold and higher risk of pests chowing her so I went and got a grow cab and modified it slightly. Hooked up some cheap fans to circulate and extract air and she seems happy. IMG_20200728_174455.thumb.jpg.97e6cff403f6e11c62baf7e957c0555d.jpg

Otherwise, not much happened during the last few weeks. Still feeding just pH balanced water and keeping up the 18/6 light schedule. I'm seeing new growth looking normal and older leaves showing signs of deficiency or maybe light burn?  Will start feeding nutes soon. Have to get by with EHG nutes in pH balanced water according to lockdown budget.

Shoutout to@Master_G your lights are fire bro!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥  Really efficient. Real quality material👌🏼

She really is looking good, those lights and gardener must be doing something right😉 I was just wondering if you were going to do some LST to get more bud sites out that lady. It’s a pretty simple process of bending back the top coles and making light available to the lower branches. We could all give our take on the process, it’s just one of those many things each grower might and do do differently but really increases plant health and healed. It might be a tad to late to get the full benefits of LST but I’ve also run a few plants and only started training in the start of flowering, of course trining autos the earlier is always better. Maybe an idea for your next run. I always hit training early as possible with autos as defoliating might affect some strains bad and stunt growth.

@BurlyOnly a pleasure bud, that's what this platform is here for.

If u are feeding biobizz at every watering, then have u halfed ur dosages as recommended by them? I know they recommend feeding at every watering to maintain a consistent root zone EC but ul b surprised how badly the plants want a plain drink from time to time. When using biobizz make sure not to water till runoff but saturate the medium properly and try break up the feeds with a plain ph watering.

U can add the Biodyne to ur biobizz or u can use it separately in conjunction with the molasses. Give them a big whack of microbes and lower the ph and see how the girls respond.

That helps so much thanks mate. Off to get my ladies there food. Sorry last one, do you recon the molasses from the health shop is fine my horti shop is still closed.

  10. Thanks a mill mate. I’ll get the two suggested right away and drop that PH ASAP.

So just to check with you, I’ll feed Biobizz every watering but at lease one or twice a week mix Biodyne and molasses together and feed? Ph at the above mentioned and then keep feeding until “flush”

thanks for taking the time dude.

I feed Biobizz every watering and Ph is at 6.2 and 6.5 before feeding. Room RH is a steady 55-60% temps are 25 and 18

this is my first run with Biobizz organic and FF soil. I normally run coco and salt based nutrients. All was going well in veg just ph watering for 4 weeks ( running autos)
So now in flowering and upped my bloom slowly and grow and have not given anything else for two weeks besides grow and bloom. I don’t have enough Biodyne that’s why I’m wondering if I should and can use FF microlife and if probiotics from them should also be added. Sorry this run is confusing the shit out of me.

I might just go back to coco after this and use Biobizz again?
I also ask about the FF products because I’m about to run out and buy today but don’t know what I should be adding to my grow and bloom. Your advice on products would be awesome. I can get Biodyne and Ff microlife and probiotics, what do you suggest. I do have kelp and molasses but the grow has molasses in it already so I don’t give to much of that when feeding.

  13. Hi guys.
    thanks for the thread.
I’m using FF green bag with Biobizz grow and bloom with fish kelp by FF and Biodyne Environoc 401 Microbes ( is this the same as microlife from FF?). I’m seeing a bit of yellowing in the start of flowering. Would you suggest I add FF probiotics to my one a week feed of Biodyne. Again Is the FF microlife basically the same as Biodyne, the reason I ask is Ive run out the past few days and would like to know if I can use FF microlife as I can get some quicker than Biodyne??

    thanks guys.

    Hi TUN

yeah I can imagine with my base understanding of the build, it’s not a completed machine, in my humble opinion so putting one together I imagine would be cheaper. I saw you mentioned you have the build speaks and parts list, could I ask you to send those to me please, I’d like to start playing around with prices and suppliers. Love this part of a projects.
    thanks.

I have some question regarding Dab though. Has anybody found that dab screws up youre tollerance? After making my first batch of bubble hash I realised my tollerance shot through the roof and it annoyed me.. I had to smoke allot more to feel medicated.. I would assume that dab would be even more effective in raising one's tollerance level..?

Very good point and I’m sure your right and I’m sure that flavor and hit are something else. I’m just looking into this all now, I’ve know and heard about dabs and just recently looking into making better use with my off cuts and sifting drew my attention which brought dabs up for interest. But I guess if your growing and you can push out some honey every now and then, it’s only a treat and a reward for your amazing grow. It’s also got me thinking I’ll try and push a few different strains if I do find the cash to start this journey and get a press, but that would be cool to have like two or three different strains to dab after harvest instead of one.

Anyway I’ll keep my eye out until the right price finds me I guess.
🤯like how were those prices on imports, can you imagine the cost of shipping on goods with Carona.

    You talking feet or meter,

If meter, and you saying tent's, as in more than 1☝️....I'm 😶

Yeah in meters both tent and room.
    I have a flowering tent currently 1.2x 1.2

I have a small 90x90cm little veg tent that has a 100w LED QB busy used at night when flowering tent is off. I’ve cleaned that tent out as well. Not the ideal situation and don’t plan to have grows so close to each other. Situations unfortunately forced me into this situation.

I would have put the heater in the tent but it blows out a burst of really out air, I had it on the out side blowing into the tents vent and that burnt some low hanging leaves in veg. But I’m very interested behind your suggestion, as much as I agree with it. I can only think it’s to keep more heat in the tent. I also keep my vents closed as the fan does just enough. Since I’ve lowered my inline fan speed my walls don’t pull in anymore, but are rather hanging straight down and flapping a bit from all the fans inside. Are you guys using AC to control the room environments your tents are in standing in. I have a1200btu mobile AC, one of the other reasons I did that little hearing set in winter was to save on costs. What you guys think?? The room is about 4x4x4 and the tent is 1.2. I can’t use the room as a complete grow space it’s not in the right place for that.

I wanted to ask you guys all how you handle cleaning your carbon filter, do the spores get killed and blown out, or is it one of things where you have to get a new one. The inline fan comes apart nicely for an inside clean.

Nope just measure the room my tents are in is 3x3

    AQ sf is Ampelomyces quisqualis.

I've heard Prom say Serenade works well, so if you're keen to import perhaps try that too.

I feel AQ sf is best used as a preventative but it can work in controlling an outbreak too, although Serenade sounds better for an outbreak.

I'd also look at putting the heater inside the tent, instead of having it blow through ducting.
