  1. My problem with that is that all those links and URL's are greyed out and can't be selected. I was just going to try one last time by editing the link, I noticed that the link in PB starts with url=httpxxxxxxxxx and think I might have just pasted the link from the addressbar out of frustration. Thanks again for the help, much appreciated :thumbups
  2. I will give up on this stupid idea of posting images. I've tried attaching images, that didn't work out for me. Then tried the method that is in the help section on Photobucket (which I registered at just to post these pics), still doesn't want to work. So........ I will just leave it and go roll a Sour OG and calm the f^$@# down. I'm done trying to post pics here, so if someone really wants to help, send me a PM. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to send the person and they can post it.
  3. Some more news from my garden. I took out two males and have one female busy flowering for about a week now at about 70cm. That is one smelly lady The other very healthy fat looking one hasn't shown any signs of flowering. I have about 24 brick up from the planter it in then my neighbor will start to see my plant grow over his wall. The plant was just over 8 bricks high last week, bow it's past 10 and still no sign of letting off. I think I will have to start training it sideways otherwise maybe a top? Is it perhaps too late for a top? It's been in the ground since 3 Jan if that helps. These are seeds I collected from nice stuff I smoked, so it should hopefully be good, but there is no way of knowing if this plant is going to grow to the sun, or just for another week or two. Advice would be appreciated.
  4. That is so sad man, I was hoping that they would show.
  5. Right, I have four plants that came out. The best looking one is about 65cm and looking very healthy after all the rain we had. One of the plants look a bit unhappy and also looks like it making seeds, so I will keep an eye on that one. Is that a sign of it being male? I will try and post pics, last time I just gave up and rolled one. I don't want to post pics that will lead whoever to my domains, so pics probably won't be coming soon(unfortunately). If the pics work, please advise on condition of the one that looks like seeds. Does it look like it might be a male? I'm sure part of the nutrition problem might be that I just planted it in a smallish pot and not in the ground like the other two. If the pics don't show, sorry for all this.
  6. My seeds are in the ground and now I wait. This time I will let them grow and learn a bit till I'm confident to grow my own. I think there is about 10 - 15 seeds in the ground, hopefully I will have a few plants coming up. Will keep you posted as it progresses.
  7. I'm in Pretoria and will be planting today. If it doesn't come out good, I will know to do it earlier. I don't want huge or tall plants. Will post some pics when there is something to show.
  8. I have had the idea to grow some outdoor in my garden for some time. I started last year and germinated some seeds in a tupperware bucket in some cotton wool. This was done after a floating test and all the seeds germinated. So when they started growing I read that the time was wrong and it wouldn't work. This brings me to NOW. Do you think it's too later to try my first attempt now? I live in a complex with my own garden, but I would like to keep the plants small-ish. If now is an ok time to plant the seeds or germinated seeds in a few days or so, what would you suggest, grow them in pots of directly in the ground? The seeds I want to get going is from stuff I got throughout the year, so I'm not 100% sure which is which, just know I didn't save crappy seeds. Thanks in advance.
  9. I don't know if it's me posting too much or this forum that is very quiet, but to me it seems very quiet here. Maybe I just don't have patience.
  10. I've tried a few different pipes and would like to give it another try. I've tried metal, wood and stone pipes in the past and some others I wasn't sure what material it was made of, but most of them spoiled the occasion. The pipe that has stood out as possibly the best method was an earth pipe, not that that's an option, but just had to mention that. I usually just roll a joint, but sometimes I just want a little bit and to roll one just for a few tokes seems like a waste and I end up rolling a full one anyway. A bong also sounds like a nice idea, but it's not very portable. If anyone has some advice on glass pipes and small bongs, I'd like to hear your opinions. Do you need some sort of filter in those small glass pipes, of do you just keep the crushed herb pieces a little bit bigger as to not fit through the hole? Sorry for silly questions, but I don't roll that way
  11. Guys I'm not too sure about the effect the drought has on your supplies in Cape Town, but I was there for a week at the end of Feb and it took me as a GP resident about 2 hours to get some nice stuff and I have to add that I don't know CT at all, last time I was there was 2000. I suppose you just have to look desperate enough
  12. SmokeyTheBear I like the blades you're using. Is it available locally? What's it called? I have some White Widow and 1066 at the moment that's going down well. Hopefully I'll have some California Orange a bit later, then I'll have a choice of three strains to choose from . . . . . . lucky me
  13. Sativa here, just want to do a quick intro. Living in Ptown and been smoking since late 80's. I don't grow at all and don't think I'll try, but possibly one day. I try and smoke at least once a day and enjoy the relaxing feeling you get. Calms me the f*ck down and makes me an easier person to live with. Things I don't like is cheap street smoke where the seeds are two thirds of the weight. Tried a few different strains in my time and prefer the stronger stuff. Will update here when I think of something more to say.
