  2. Not too shabby man - iv just read through this thread to make sure i didnt miss anything along the way that led to your last update.
Everything looked solid, but now in this last update the plants are droopy.
i couldnt quite make out how often you feeding your ladies? you said you mix 4 different ph levels to balance the feed. but not sure if its 4 times a day or 4 times a week or less.
the droopy leaves indicate one or both of the following - over watering or a problem with your root zone.
have you just watered or taken pics during lights off? or have you noticed any issues?

I'll get some pictures up in a few hours to show you guys how they're doing.

  3. I assume you've flipped them already?

I agree with@CreX they don't look very happy.

I'm flipping them tomorrow, had to get them hydrated first.

I'll let them bounce back up (should be fine by morning) and from the next light cycle they will be under 12/12.

Their current appearance is due to my negligence...

Thanks for the read, and man you have a sharp eye.

Its not over watering or root issues... I neglected them for the past day and a half, and they've missed their watering, going a day and a half too long without having a drink.

I've finally managed to get a break to give them some water after taking those pictures.

I feed the 4 different pH levels throughout the week, not 4 times a day.
    Sorry about the ambiguity.

  5. Aaand here the Ethos Strains are; Inzane on the left

I gave them another defoliation a couple of hours ago and I'll flip them soon. Just waiting for the to-be clones grow out a bit more.

Hopefully it doesn't get too crowded once flower is in full swing.

The first 2 pictures are the before shots, last 2 are the afters.

  6. @PsyCLown sup bro, do you think I should give them 1 or 2 more days until I flip? Was planning to let this be the last veg cycle but I could use a second opinion.

They haven't gotten much taller, but they sure are bushy.

  7. @TheUltimateNoob I see what you saying . You prob right about the lights though . My grow space is 70x70x1.5 so that’s the reason I didn’t wanna break the bank on a light over 200w . A lot to figure out between having the right light spectrum and what is actually actually available .
Reading up on lighting a bit will serve you well. A lot can be adapted to your grow or found by looking for a product that's not necessarily well know, but has the right specifications.

Something like the Bavagreen fixtures, with UV and IR on separate switches.

You would need something with a more square output... The Mars TS series has really good par over a 1m x 1m, but with shipping and stuff it ends up quite a bit. I haven't checked the latest prices though.

Which light are you planning to get?

  8. Sweeet, got a Fem Inzane in the membrane seed from Ethos chilling in the fridge, in line for my next grow.
Will be following for sure, excited to see what happens here!
Plants are looking sexy my dude!
Haha, thanks bro... And all the best with your grow.

Can I just ask, why do you keep them in the fridge? Is it not too cold for extended periods?

I'm genuinely not sure so if you're doing it for a valid reason I may just change how I store mine.
I just have them in a metal tin in a dark cupboard as a fool proof storage method.

I'm planning to switch to flower in a day or 2.

  9. What's up everyone; so I've managed to put together another quick but informative update.

I haven't changed anything with my methods, just did regular maintenance and fed the trees when I needed to.

I did, however, change the nutes to flower ratio to help kick start the transition week - I plan to flip to 12/12 in a day or 2.

I will include respectively named pictures so you guys can see how they've progressed. The first picture is just for the thumbnail on tapatalk - no filter shots for days.

    The summary of what's happened since the 6th is as follows;

7th May - did some more lst and trained the canopy flat again
8th May - watched them bounce back
10th May - they filled out quite nicely
12th May - more lst to train the canopy selective defoliation
13th May (no pics for this date) - defoliation for airflow and light penetration (the last 2 pictures were taken on the 15th - I moved the Inzane to the left of the tent)

They're looking good. I feel like they're ready for flower but I'll let them get a bit taller first. I also want to take some clones to I'll let the side branches get some length also.

    So yeah that's where we're at right now. Here's another defoliation video;

    Enjoy.

  10. @TheUltimateNoob  its an option. the issue with all the different type of Sheeting,  is how to get it to stick to a raw cement/brick wall.
thats why im thinking of just screwing Rhino Ceiling boards to the walls. cut them to size, and 4 x screws, pretty easy.
Yeah I understand... Aluminium tape or screws with washers work on Mylar as well.
You'd just have to be extra careful not to tear it any more than you need to.

I feel the Mylar will offer more bang for your buck in the long run.
But the boards are the cheaper, easier option. Although the prices may be similar after you factor in paint and stuff

  11. Is that clear, almost plastic looking rizla? The one time I smoked some Durban Poison in some of that riz while visiting some mates in South Coast and it's probably the highest I've ever been from a joint.
Got my hands on a couple slivers but couldn't ever get it right  always been a pro roller with any other riz but that one defeated me in the moment. Will need to sit down and do it properly some time
The completely clear rolling paper is known as glass wrap I believe. I have a few left after using 2 from a box a long time ago... They've been sitting in the cupboard for over a year now

I'm pretty sure the Silver Riz mentioned above are Rizla's Slim papers.

  12. Lolz. Also hate it when folk tear the box with gerricks on it.
Gonna be reviewing more papers. Including the RAW rolls and 12 inch. Had them on our online store for ages, but wanna help folk understand the differences. Personally prefer OCB's, but am also very impressed by the new Rizla Natura papers.
The RAW 12" paper has never let me down hey... Rolled and smoked about 5 or 6 to date.

Its a slight mission if you're rolling it alone - I roll the 12" with the weed in it, not roll the cone and fill - but the paper burns even if you pack the joint right.

If you've got someone to help you it's a lot easier - they can hold the paper box open in a 'V' to support the rest of the joint while you form and roll it.

OCB is now my brand of choice...

I used to love the RAW unbleached papers with the cross print on them, they burnt extremely well and hardly have a taste, but the quality became wildly inconsistent in my country as of the past year or so with the papers burning unevenly, glue unsticking and the odd tear when rolling just where the smoking tip is.

OCB Slim (Black) & Super Slim (Blue) are what I look for in stores now.

I've tried the new Rizla, but I still don't like it. It still has a bit of that signature taste of the older bleached pure white Rizla papers.
The old Rizla is almost as thick as printing paper, lmao

  13. The Blue Dream I got was a real pleasure to grow, honestly. The bud turned out amazing also, they're from Nirvana seed bank. The high was well balanced and really intense if you hit a slightly too big bong.

The tree was resilient and responded extremely well to training. Could net 500g/sq m easy with some HST indoors.

  14. Pathetic from our police and the media. This is the world we live in... Amidst all the big problems they do this
That's true. It is pathetic... I guess the police need to have big busts in order to show that they're doing work, but the media needs to really get with the times.
Something as simple as an old word makes something seem so dirty.
I've learnt to ignore old school negative opinions really early. They don't really have a reason as to why weed is bad, is just is.
Seems like the people that run the media have the same mentality.

  15. Well, if you want to grow outside... You need outdoor lights to control the light cycle easier.
Without that, I hope you are nearing harvest because weed won't grow outdoor in the low hours of light available
Read through this and had a quick question, one of my friends is in a similar situation... What about growing autos outdoors?

I know they won't reach their full potential size due to less light, but could someone effectively harvest year round with autos outside? Is it advisable
