Sorry for not updating in a while, these philosophy exams have been keeping me busy.

Changes to grow thus far:

Clones in Jiffy have been put in their first pots, still looking a bit sad but improving.

I have started feeding the plants in flower with molasses, only began a few days ago so waiting to see the results.

Here is one of heavy sativa pheno bagseed. She impressed me for random bagseed.

Other bagseed: Very airy and probably not getting enough light on the side of the box but my priority of light cover is the Vanilla Kush and Strawberry Amnesia.

Update time!

Sorry for not posting sooner guys but things have just been super busy with exams and what not.

Things are progressing, it just feels like time slows down in flower. But I am pretty sure my patience will be rewarded and you guys were right about the bagseed, just needs time to dense up.

FIrst up we have the Sativa dominant bagseed.

What do you guys think of the diffrence in development on the left branch vs right branch?

Right hand side looking much denser, but I think it has to do with light distribution to that part of the cab. The sides are not quite getting enough, need to look into supplemental lighting. I am thinking of a small quantum board if funds allow.

Then the other one, nice spread but not as dense as the others. It's just a waiting game now.

The vanilla kush is showing off it's flower power! I cannot describe to you guys how much I am looking forward to smoking this. The smell of this plant is the most amazing smell I have ever had the pleasure of smelling.

The Straberry amnesia is beginning her journey into flower. Very excited to see her grow up:-flyinghi

I have some straberry amnesia clones that are slowly rooting, temps in the grow room have been a bit low so they are taking their sweet time.

I took this one when I topped her and it's a bit older than the rest. Thought because she looked so beat up that she was stuffed. But looks like I was wrong.

Got my hands on a better camera. Some images from yesterday.

I'm a bit worried about space. There's enough room for the vanilla kush in flower. But I'd like to get the Strawberry amnesia before it gets too large. These bagseed have been going for almost 10 weeks now. They had a bit of stress during the beginning of flower but I don't feel like I have the time to take them to 14-16 weeks.

I spend way too many hours unproductively just browsing various international seed banks.

Why this strain?

A friend of mine gifted me with 3 grams of a less than premium harvest of his. I fell in love with the smell - almost a bit like yeast, barley and hops. Almost like a craft beer - which I really enjoy.

The effects were long lasting, very interesting taste and great smoke even with a less than ideal grow.

Update time: been extremely busy since the last update.

The girls are slowly progressing through glower. Killed the untrained indica female as she was just stretching too far showing very airy bud growth and some leaf mutations (single leaves)

A bit of an update on the ladies and clones. Responding well to training.

BS#1 the stretchiest most sativa like strain in flower, she showed sex first and is developing the fastest but I suspect she’ll spend a while in flower.

BS#2 my favorite plant in flower, slow to initiate flowers but gorgeous structure and responded very well to topping and lst.

Strawberry amnesia is flourishing at the moment, suffered some heat stress though.

And finally my favorite plant in the garden.

Bit of an update, I’ve been away from the garden for about three days and in that time the girls got about 10cm away from the light. With my inferior heat extraction it has caused some minor heat stress on some growth. Tied them down again a bit and gave them a good feeding.

Noticing some interesting trends among the plants or rather between phenos.

First one up is the indica dominant non topped plant. Heat stressed her out bud no burn just dropping at the top. She’s showing some of the best development in bud sites.

Then next is the sativa dom structured LST’ed plant. She’s always been bushy but is popping budsites and showing good development. Gave her more of a tie down today.

Then the more hybrid looking plant and the one showing the best result of LST. Extremely bushy but a bit slow on development of bud sites.

Quick update:

 

As per pics below first up we have a group photo this being day 33 of flowering.

First individual photo is that of the GG, then we the DC OG followed by Vanilla Kush and 2 x Strawberry Amnesia. So for adjusting the lights and drop in temperature is paying dividends as the frost levels are better than the last run, wondering if I shouldn't raise them slightly more. Quantum boards currently at 400mm and Cobs at 450mm.

Preparing to start the cut back on N for the next few weeks and hitting her with the PK plus some added Calmag Nitrate every now and then. Going Hybrid Organic lol.

U gonna enjoy growing both, the VK with its power frost and the SA for its colas. The SA is a 70 day plus plant and the VK is 60 plus. Something to take into account if you planning on scroging them together

Couple of shots from yesterday girls responded well to a feeding of 2.5ml fish emulsion per liter.

Strawberry amnesia doing well, Hein if I get some clones off her in a month or two I’ll see if I can give the gift forward.

Vanilla kush is bushing out so well. I’m considering topping her taking clones (not yet, I few weeks) then setting up a small 50cm x 50cm scrog to get a good yield under my 250 hps. I love this plant.
