The freedomfarms formula 1 is
and needs to be fed with nutrients, I did previous grow with pH above 6 and had huge deficiency problems, almost all my fan leaves died out and the the smaller ones, luckily it only stated mid flower so it did full through ..... But is was close or I could have lost it all.

Clones - Great White Shark - 5 in a 25L pot, 3 in a 15L pot and 1 in a 15L pot

Durban Poison - 4 in a 25L pot

Alien Tatentula - 1 in a 15L pot

Velvet Bud - 3 in a 15L pot

Lights - QB440 mix of 3000&4000 kelvin + QB300 only 3000 kelvin.

Growing medium - freedom farms formula 1.

Nutrients- GH floracoco Grow&Bloom

Grow area size - 1,2x1,3m DIY

Feeding in flower - started at 1EC/5,5PH and 1/1 with FloreCoco, ended week 3 on 1,4 EC /5,65ph and 1/1,5 floracoco.

Started weekend on 2,1 EC / 5,7/8PH and 1/2 floracoco.

Temp - 21-33 depends on the weather outside

Defoiliated on day 14 and then heavy on day 23. All looks good so far.

It's my 3rd indoor grow and any advise or tips will be accepted .

I thought the diaries is like a religious thing and needs to be very good...... So I can start one even if I'm halfway?
I don't document the grows, I just remember the problems from previous ones and memorise the present grow

Day 35 for these Great White Shark, Alien Tatentula and DP. Trying to see how this pans out, one 25L pot with 5 clones, other 25L with 4 clones and 15L pots with 1 and 3. This is a 1,2x1,2m DIY room with QB440 and QB300

Most of the strains I did still had clear thrichs on 9 weeks, usually I need to go to 11-12 weeks...

Wow you guys took me back now....late 80's early 90's. I grew up in the freestate, mostly got the leaf/seeds and sticks in a finger, magazine paper rolled up and weed stuffed inside. Then we started getting rooibaard, TK, Swazi cobs, DP mostly R20-50 a bankie or cob ( still have seeds that I can't seem to germinate... Any advise?) . Climbing koppies and smoke with nobody around, fishing.......those were the days hey. Then the Hydroponic, Shunk and those came along mid 90's and super expensive....
Im also think we must get the old land races going again! Lots of theories regarding consuming nature in the country you born in, much better for you.
Sooo any help with germinating old seeds will be appreciated, any labs guys around? My resent Alien Tatentula harvest.

I totally agree and with that thinking most of the coco/perlite is in the bottom of the pot with the finer composts on top, last 2 weeks( temps was mid 20's) I just watered it once a week and they loved it. Its used one of those blue 225L plastic drums cut in half.

Hi, I did simular with outdoor. Had extra 50/50 coco perlite and put 1/3 of a 100L of that then some cannabiz comlost/soil, mix a bit between the two layers and topped up with the compost, put a scrog net over the 2 girls and they flowering nicely now.
Will add pic later tonight.
Stupid question - does outdoors also flower in the 8-12 weeks?

Hi 420, also after some resurge I thought it might be K, i then foilered with that yellow sticker bottle of biogrow.... Something with a "P" that contains alot of PK and after 2 week drenched also, I'm not sure if it did help but lots of fan leaves was doomed by then. Amazingly yield was still good tho.

Hi Mamba, I have took your advise and uses the Calsium nitrate and not the Calsium magnesium and it seems to the trich , leaves dint get any of those spots yet.

Took my rockwool clones that started showing roots and transplanted them into 1L tubs in Just Cannabis, 3rd day and still moist with this heat so it looks like a fine product.

Also think organic is more efficient if you take money and time spend in to consideration. I have QB's lights and they run abit cooler as I understand, started with them so don't know how it compares to HPS, but they still heat up the room, going to replace my exhaust fan to bigger one and hopefully it helps abit.
How and what Coco do you use and do you treat it before the grow? Read so many stories and not sure how, the 50/50 and formula 1 dries out to fast for me and and think they best for drip systems. Leaning towards coco with next grow.

Cool yeah I used to work on 700 scale and then noticed with other and their ppm that it's 500 so I'm now on EC, but now it's in my head 700 and 500 are both 1 EC. I bring my EC down from 1,5 to 1 to 0,5 in 2 weeks and then flush plain pH for last week. Trying the Just Cannabis medium now and it's suppose to last from veg to end of flower, but will have my flower nutes close by middle of flowering.
. Heat hectic in WC last week and I can't do anything more to cool down, aircon to expensive and not sure if 3-4 normal electricity raises red flags or dont they mind cause the make more money.
I'm going to try your suggestions and tweek where needed

Is your ppm reading on the 500 or 700 scale, I'm never sure who uses what? Im going into flower the weekend and will def give this a go.
You use MPK rather that the Booster or Ripen right?

Aaah, Heya Mamb, the part A&B you referring to is from Horti or GHE flora coco? I have done the 3 part in a RDWC and had no issues .... Wonder why I changed hey ..
So you do per liter or gallon and you EC the below in what values if I may have your secret
Epson
GHPF Calsium
Chelated iron ( also used with RDWC and not anymore )
Part A /floracoco Grow
Part B/floracoco Bloom
MPK

EC is at 1,4-1,9 and haven't seen any leave tip burns, had a previous grow on 2,5 EC for just over a week and then only did it started to burn the tips, I feed daily or when temps is lower and the 15L pots still have abit of weight every second day with 25+% runoff when I thought it might have been salt buildup that caused that

After they turned yellow I tried to foilar with Phyta for the PK when I thought that it was a deficiency, and besides the droplet here and there no spillage of nutrient rich water on leaves. Maybe with the Green House Powder u shouldn't use the Horti calsium/magnesium and just the Calsium of Green House Powder 

Can't see the pics, although it could just be the leaves dieing as they're getting old and not as much light?
