  1. Jland[/member] Ya his topping tech is the tits. Nice even canopy!

Having semi-mainlined this girl, and then used his topping tech to even out canopy, has created a bit of a challenge with branching for me. Perhaps more strain/pheno  dependent, not sure, but something to watch for. I could've/should've done more lollipopping in veg, even quite high up, or perhaps avoided the topping tech altogether given the mainlining.

The tits indeed!!! Sounds like you went all out on the ladies. With the mainlining and GML = tops a plenty!!

Could of should of...well you have cleared the way for light and the  recovery is awesome, next round you'll haven't dialed in bro :-gthumb

She is going to STACK!!!! :-trip

  2. My two are only 4 and 3, when they were younger they saw box regularly but I have since kept it behind closed doors. I always plants and veggies going around the home.

Been so young if scares the sheeet out of me that they might say something at school (lights, plants, cupboard :-X).

I have them actively involved in there own garden, they plant, spread seedlings out and I show them how to prune where needed, they love it!  But for now that's the only green I want them to know.

Much agree with Totemic, Zairek and Duracell.. Definitely the route I'll be taking in the next year or two.

  3. I'd also like to take this time to blame narnia[/member] for posting the pics that convinced me to go ahead with the stripping

Hahaha, nice one for following through with your POA.

Will pray upon a pyp for your girls :-meditate

  4. When GML is doing his walk through, you will hear him say, not often bit enough that he makes a point, especially when plants are just about to start flush..

He'll scope across the room and always points out the amount of light coming through and that you can actually see individual colas amongst the hundreds all as a result of the strip.

I personally have not put it into practice...yet. But love his techniques and ideas. GML topping I have put yo use and works very well!

I've pulled my stool up rolled a stack of jays and looking forward to enjoying  this thread!

Have attempted using there CFLs (dirt cheap!) 2 fitting fell apart because of heat and found them lying between my plants.

I have two of the LEDs as well that I have just been to scared to  screw in.

  6. Agreed there Totemic prevention is much better than cure!

Thanks GLO! I actually sprayed and cleaned the whole are today. Will follow up with some cinnamon and baking soda right now.

I have used cinnamon before when I had the thrips problem it definitely helped but the problem back then was well into disaster zone!

Shot for the info folks, it's a  big help!

May your buds swell and harvest be a plentiful  :-bongit

  7. Ahoys Totemic  ✌

    Awesome info brother, thanks!

Going to get that going asap!

I have seen lady bugs around here but they come and go, time to make them a happy home in the garden so they'll stick around through the summer

I'm also planing  on moving some cuttings outside end of this month for the season but think I'll hold back to I got my celery going first.

  8. Ants will bring them back , they farm them like we do cows. Make sure You Have no ants around

Ahoys GLO, I have heard that before and would explain their return.

I live right on the boundary of some serious bush and ants are a plenty! Them little black ones that nest in just about anything. Trimmed the palms back the other day And there were ant nests in the stems.

Okay so first steps will be address the ant prob. Any safe tips or means of deterring them from wanting to be on the plant?

Neem is systematic and thought this would repel any unwanted critters. They have been absolutely bug free, only the aphids seem to carry on regardless .

    Much appreciate  the info GLO
