  1. I line my monotub with black bag to prevent bottom and side pins and the affirmative tranferd hp will shrink a bit so the black bag will stick to it and prevent side pins from forming I will take some other pics tomorrow or so
  2. The brown yellowish liquid is water and honey the floaty bits is the mycelium growing
  3. Oooooh weee this is what the pan cyan lc that I made 2 days ago
  4. Feel free to ask and i will try to explain to the best of my capabilities i can even add poorly drawn pictograms if you want As for the capitalizations i used ... Gtg - not old-school texting got to go but grain to grain that is when you take a fully colonised jar of grains break it up and put a little bit into a sterilized jar of grains this cuts down on colonising time and expands stock 1 fully colonised jar can make 16 jars +- Lc - this is liquid culture . . . Instead of inoculating grain you can inoculate a sterilized water and sugar mix honey is best but this will give you a multi spore lc but what you really want is a "clone lc" this will require some agar work I will show you guys when i start working with agar with agar you can do genetic isolation and cloning To go further into fungi you will need some lab equipment
  5. Update 17.4.3.86 version 3 So I am preparing a few grain jars to do a gtg transfer with the uncontaminated pans and mez cause I don't have enough for a monotub The local flavour Transkei is colonising the monotub seems to be going good its at about +-30% done in 4 days Oh and I have started 3 lc jars lets see how it goes And always remember to eat a healthy breakfast that you can run from the cops
  6. So I got my field capacity substrate in a oven bag and its in 75°c water for the next 90 min
  7. So I started with my bulk substrate 50/50 hp & verm and a 4% of total gypsum I mixed it all up and added water now I'm leaving it for a few hours then I will drain excess water and pasturise
  8. Been busy have not done my bulk substrate But here is some pictures
  9. So their is this field close to me like 3min drive close it has a ton of horses and a few cows . So i did the natural thing hopped the fence with a few bags with me i did not even make it 50m into the field and all my bags were full of shit . . . Tonight is the night that I prepare my bulk substrate . . . If I am able to my roommate got us some changa Will post some pics of the jars tonight Oh and i took my contaminated jars and dumped them into a pot of compost lets see what happens
  10. its sad to see contamination take over a jar but hey it is informative both jars still has some pans clinging to life i just want to see what will happen who will win the fight maybe you can develop a strain that will eat the contamination but that night change it make it poisoned but hey lets learn why not
  11. update 7.948.46v3 lets do this mazapetec transkei mazapetec testing different location with this one salvia leaves pan cyan mazapetec mazapetec mazapetec contaminated pan cyan contaminated pan cyan transkei pan cyan shook this one a little to break the top lump there is some blue brusing
  12. Update on my first batch 2 jars are contaminated the other 2 still seems fine
  13. Yes I'm using rye berries I'm struggling to get the moisture right on the sorghum The tyvek I got from a suit I'm using the sleeves with my SAB a tyvek suit will last you a lifetime and I got mine for free from someone who works at a petrochemical plant you could ask at a hardware store they will most likely have
  14. You will find them in singles in most any supermarket but i got mine at westpack well any plastic store will have them 6packs usually goes for around 130
  15. It's time to inoculate the second batch The first has started to show some growth of mycelium I made some changes on my lids i rtved some tyvek as reusable filters no need for micro pore tape now
  16. What extra kak what are you going on about The extra kak like self healing injection ports Or gypsum Or is it the rye berries Or the pressure cooker Because that is what i am using what here is exstra kak And rye berries is way cheaper than popcorn
  17. Pressure cooker is a must at least a 10l if you want to do grains 7 would be fine if you do pf tek But pf tek you can do with a steam sterilisation As my substrate I will use horse shit and vermiculite 1 to 1 and 4% gypsum
  18. ok first you will need mason jars and you want to make self healing injection port on the lids i am using gasket maker i been struggling to find rye berries but i think i found some and i did find some sorghum and gypsum
  19. No idea what you just said, but i will google Yeah the whole mycology culture has a language of their own It's quite interesting now that i think about it you can determine the interest level of someone by the vocabulary used Or I'm just really stoned
  20. The pan cyan i will do in mini monotub The rest i will do in monotubs I'm doing grain spawn and not a pf tek
  21. I will show step by step as I go along Cultivation takes different times colonisation usually takes about 2 weeks then another week or 2 for colonising the substrate then another week or two for pinning to start and a week or 3 before the next flush so on average it takes +-8 weeks But factors can change it And truffles takes about 3 months
  22. 10 cubensis spore syringes 1 liquid culture of pan cyan Goliath and a Mckennai agar plate what more do you want to know
  23. Well it is a ancient psychic tandem war elephant If you knew more about it it won't be that mythical
  24. i have been on the search for spores about 10 years when suddenly a magical mushroom fairy riding a mythical elacorn Came and shat some spores into my hand Golden teacher B+ albino A+ puerto rican Costa rican amazonian Transkei mazatapec Mexicana Pan cyan Texan Mckennai so i am currently hydrating my grains then pasteurization and inoculation on Wednesday i will update as i go along
