  1. So i bit the bullet and defoiliated a bit on Tuesday. I just lollipopped everything that wasn't getting any light under the canopy. I've been tucking and bending to have all buds receive some light. What a fkn mission. Never letting things get outta hand again.

  2. So 13 days into flower and things got out of hand quick. I was away the last few days and had my lady tend to my ladies. Got back to these monsters. Canopy is out of control. If i had more than 400watts i would have widened the canopy but its already at its max coverage of about 1.1m x 800mm. Any advice would be appreciated. Budlets are coming in nicely though.

  3. Switching the lights to 12/12 today. The canopy is about 80% full. Lollipopping and taking some clones today. flushing with water and then i will startn biobloom and grow later this week.

Thank you @Smelly Joe. Your advice on keeping it simple really saved my grow. Been running seagro and mollases the past 3 weeks and the results speak for themselves.

  4. Okay so 10 days later and they are getting nice and bushy. Will wait about another week or so for them to fill out the scrog and then switch them to flower.

PS. i ran out of rope when building the scrog so will buy some more this week and do it properly.

  5. 1 week later and everything seems back to normal. The critical cheese on the right seemed to stretch a lot more than the one bottom left. The leaves are also much smaller.

I added some guanoflo a week ago and i think that hit the spot.

  6. @Smelly Joe Dude that's amazing. Thanks for the advice.

The plants have bounced back a bit. I will try some Kelpak as i still believe the roots aren't 100%. I think ill then also go back to the biobizz nutes. They havent failed me in the past i just thought i'd give Nutriplex a go this round.

  7. Yeah i figured its the roots... I transplanted them into these pots a bit early. I let them dry out a bit a few days ago and after that they seemed to bounce back with more new growth in two days than in the 3 weeks. I've considered adding a fish emulsion or Kelpak but im not too familiar with it. I do have some Fulvic Acid from GtHydro but im quite new to foilar feeding.

  8. @SkunkPharm Thank you for the quick reply. I've also considered trimming away the bottom 3rd of the branches. To lower the PH to 5.8... I guess i'll try feeding at 5.6 then. I have a pump and everything so ill set up a drip system. Just one thing.. you say watering every 2 hours... Is that till run off?

  9. Hey Guys.

First time posting so please bear with me.

I'm having some troubles with my garden

    2 x Dinafem Critical Cheese.

1 x Lemon Kush (Bag seed)

So i germinated my plants the last week of october. So they are currently in week 5-6 of Veg. See attached pics. As you can see they are extremely stunted. They have looked like this for the last 3 weeks. The smaller one even longer. Its looked exactly the same for 4 weeks. Very slow growth, Small new growth.

    Nutrients

    Nutriplex Grow, micro and bloom.

    Calmag

    I've been ranging between 300-500ppm.

feeding PH 5.8... Run off PH 6.0

Feeding every 2-3 days. Flushed 2 weeks ago to rectify any build up.. didnt help.

    Medium

    Coco and perlite mixed 70/30.

From coco brick. I flushed twice and buffered in calmag for 12 hours.

Please help. I really can't give up on this crop.

  10. I'm a Mechanical HVAC consultant. I design Cooling and ventilation systems.

You need a job in the UK, we always looking for HVAC Engineers hahaha

Haha if only i had a degree. Only a project manager at the moment. I can do everything. But the boss needs to sign it off. Best part of the job is i get inline & silent fans at a much lower price than what grow shops around here charge. They Mark up about 70-80%.

  11. Hey guys. So ive made it through Veg atage without messing up. Now i need some help sexing a plant... I know if i give it a few days it will show better but im eager to start focusing on the plants that matter... The preflowers look bulbish like pollen sacs but are pointy like a female without the pistil... Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  13. Greetings from Pretoria!.

Recently started my own indoor grow. Total noob at this but i've already learned so much. Any tips and advice would be appreciated... few quick questions..

    - I Know of the 3 or 4 main hydro stores. Question is... Do you know of any other suppliers where i can purchase a ballast for cheaper... I've noticed that shops like Voltex sell HID bulbs for allot cheaper than the grow shops. Unfortunately they don't sell ballasts! :(

    - Can a 250w HPS bulb run off a 400w magnetic ballast?

    Thanks in advance.
