No, not yet first, we're planning to do a Freakshow Reversal. In the mean time, I'm collecting some killer clones to cross with the Solfire stuff. Probably 3 months

Yeah, once we started planting the red and white clover, they seemed to just pop up as soon as there's an open spot. From then on, they have spread to the entire garden. 

So who else got shitfaced last night?

So, we've been making a lot of Freakshow Clones. If anybody in the Mossel Bay area are interested, let me know in a DM 150 each. 

Started a bunch of SV's. All F1's. They're growing much faster this time of year.

These are the Jade Aliens, Anastasia 99's and Jessica Rabbits. All autoflowers mixed batch. At this size, all males have been spotted and removed. 4 photo fems in there too.

All the photoperiods seem to be revegging. Will take clones of everything good.

Piss cool to see the guys producing these seeds and their passion for cannabis. That part where they talked about humidity was very insightful. Popped 3 and only 2 germinated. Seeds just feel better than clones. You get to pick your winner and each one is slightly different.

Get one bag of premium soil like Orgasoilux or Freedom Farms that you keep just to start seeds in. Wet the soil once and then plant the seeds 1 cm down. Keep inside in a warm spot until they germinate.They should pop the surface before needing to be rewatered. If the surface dries out before then you should spray the surface with a mist bottle. With good soil and not overwatering you shouldn't have any issues for the first two weeks. You really only need one seed.

When you go in just to buy a few glue plugs but your inner hoarder convinces you really need this one.

She had to go, her structure is just a safe haven for pests and I would rather put clones in her place. Stunning smell but not the pheno im looking for. Feels very wrong..

Replacing her with GMO Cookies and a papaya.

Upstairs Im just running a ton of autos. All the rejected seeds that are not pretty enough for retail. That and a few clones mixed in that was cut from cannaclones from a friend. Not sure whats what anymore. Im not doing any breeding outdoors anymore so Im not really worried about the order. 

Im pulling auto males as I see them, they have weeks to go before they release any pollen so I start twice as many as i want to end up with.

Two 60l pots empty waiting for clones. Just clover growing atm.

Strawberry cheesecake auto from seedsman, looks so shit i dont even want to harvest her.

The duckfoot auto reversal worked, balls everywhere but very very little pollen because the balls dont open. As a proof of concept i will probably collect the balls of the freakshows and dry them for hand pollination.

This random female is probably full of fem seeds from the duckfoot.

The graveyard section seems to be recovering slightly, maby the darkstars will make a comeback. I will take clones if they do.

In the tent its smooth sailing in Veg untill I have enough freakshows to do the S1 cross. The 825w diy led is a beast and nees alot of cooling. 15w x 55. 

Starting a few new fems I probably dont have space for but fuck it lol. I want to smoke different flavours every day.

My wishlist is Archive, Rare Dankness, La plata labs, subcool, obsoul33t, swamp boys.. The breeding for bag appeal first tipe breeders. Very pricey but worth it for breeding

Who else keeps their old empty seedpacks as trophy's? Lost a few due to gifting over the years.

So about four weeks ago we had a harvest and I gave 2 of my friends a few wet trimmed branches of freshly harvested plants to dry and cure on their own. I'm at about two weeks since placing them into jars and burping twice a day. They are really smelling yummy and I will probably start smoking them soon. So we are at his house for a braai and he brings out his jar and its smells like shit. Like cheap outdoor. I realized after talking that he only dried it for a week before placing it into a jar. He said after he put it in the jar it got wet again and again so he would throw it onto a tray to dry for a few minutes every time. He also burped the jars twice every day. 

You're better of overdrying weed than jarring it with too much moisture in the bud. When you close that jar you lock in the moisture. Big companies freeze-dry cannabis and then jar them with 2-way humidity packs. Just trust me on this one. Dry the plants till you can easily snap the stems. Not kink, not click. Dry snap. You want to slowly dry the plant until it's ready to jar. 

Im really concidering switching to only coco or hydro. Just seems easiest to measure. With soil there is always at least one fuckup during the grow. 

I dont know how much of each nutrient is in my new soil. So after I mix in my perlite and vermiculite I do an aggresive flush untill most of the water soluble nutrients are flushed or leeched out. Every time you will get a lower reading on the runoff until the ppm gets to about 300ppm. I then just start a brand new feeding scedule with new nutrients in ph corrected water.

Save money on soil and get these two. Takes the guesswork out and you can dial in the soil. I got 200L of soil at R21 per bag of 20L at my local Agri. The tap water in my area is 170 - 200 ppm and 7.9 pH. Get a big container and make a large amount of 6.0 pH water and nutes at 800 - 1000ppm.

Flush your new soil with a hosepipe outside until the runoff is 300 - 400ppm.  Then water with the new batch of pH corrected water. Getting a pH pen speeds this up a bunch, but the drops work fine. Paying for FF OR OLX soil just gets too expensive in the long run.  My Darkstar seedlings got burnt to shit with orgasoilux and I just decided fuck that. Buying your own perlite and vermiculite still works out cheaper.
