  1. HAHAHA what can I say, I love the stuff as much as my friends and family
  2. Ah ok.. Will find out for sure. I know I can hang them pretty close, they are dimmable also
  3. Coastal, so more humid than dry... "only in room 6 runs"? "Gorillas"? Sorry bud, don't get it I have an AC too. 12 000 BTU portable to go inside the big tent, or should it be outside just regulating ambient room temp?
  4. @Prom That makes sense. Cheers for the info You mean the distance from the ground? Not really sure what you mean, bud?
  5. ....if I ran the 2nd 6" fan into the drying tent, wouldn't the humidity from the exhaust fuck me around while trying to dry? I'm thinking better to exhaust both out with my setup.... Would you say that 2 x 6" fans for the out is better than 1 x 8" on the diagonal side of the room?
  6. Shit, really man? I do have a spare 6" that I could use, luckily... but that means I 'd have to order more ducting and a Y-splitter. I'm trying to cut out as few holes as possible for the exhaust... I like your design of having 2 outs, so the air isn't as directional. I was going to have the air sweep across the tent diagonally. You have planted a seed now....
  7. 6 " in and 8" out. I saw a dude using the cone filters for cars but I reckon I'll be good with the air purification and dehumidifier inside the room, where the intake will come from. The QBs are dimmable, so that can buffer if it gets a little too hot under the covers
  8. @Ill_Evan Ya I'm really impressed with the QBs. I rate they're the way to go. Just a little pricey at the moment. Hopefully they'll come down a bit in the future. I'll be doing SCROG on next grow.
  9. Got some Girlscout Cookies & AK x Critical Mass to start with. Fabric pots, Atami high porosity coco. SOG
  10. Ah ok. Noice. Hey if it works it works! You must have a good, full spectrum with the combo
  11. @Prom 4 x 600W. Actually they 640W each, I got the upgrade with twin drivers @ 320W each
  12. ...but then I am running 600W LED Quantums, so I probs won't need such angry ventilation. You running HPS right?
  13. @Prom Wow, some power you got there.... you rate my fans are too small for my tent??
  14. @Ill_Evan hahahahaha! that's some funny shit! Okay so sounds like I'm on the right track now. Legendary. Thank you
  15. or should I leave the pantyhose out of it and just rely on my dehumidifier and air purifier to clean the air inside the room where the intake pulls air from?
  16. Nah, the 6" is the intake, and the exhaust is an 8" pushing the air outside. The 2 fans should help with the negative pressure. I'd put the pantyhose over the intake inside the room. That sound right to you?
  17. Thanks Prom! Seems like the HEPA roll thing will be overkill for my current requirements. Good to know though, that there is material like that. Maybe a future project.... Appreciate it man!
  18. IllEvan, My setup requires the intake to come from inside of the room so although that DIY filter box looks pretty good, I don't think I'll need it, after reading what you've said. 1 - Intake inside, so already "filtered' a little by the building itself 2 - Dehumidifier inside the room has a HEPA. 3 - I also have a air purifier with HEPA and UVC light, that I'm using for something else but I can steal that for this purpose! 4 - Add a couple pantyhose to the intake and I think the combo of these things will do the trick!
  19. IllEvan, bud that is such great info! Thanks! Looks like pantyhose are a solid competitor!! They won't stop spores and pollen but will stop some of it, and alot of other airbourne particles too. Great idea! Maybe I could try placing 2 or 3 over each other to increase the filtration. Shouldn't be a problem for the 6" fan....
  20. hahahaha.... Yeah I know, I use KISS alot myself, it's become a thing in our household too . Well, I haven't actually started the grow yet. Unfortunately my order from 8 WEEKS ago is still missing some essential items, so I am staring at a nice setup that's 90% finished but I can't move forward... The intake filter is an after thought, really... I just figured it would help keep the grow as simple as possible (KTGASAP) lol So since my intake is already coming from a clean room inside a well insulated building, I guess it's not necessary, then? Yeah, your last point is a good one... I will be running an adjustable dehumidifier complete with HEPA filter already installed in the machine, in the room where the tent is. I suppose that would make the need for an intake filter even more redundant... I always try do things the best I can, but the intake filter is now starting to sound like overkill... Thanks so much, man
  21. ... I was also told by someone who works with HEPA filters that they need a series of progressive larger filters 1st, otherwise the larger particles will go straight into the HEPA and you'll need to replace it after a few weeks.... But not sure if that's true....
  22. I wasn't aware you could buy HEPA on a roll... That would work very well for the vents on the 1 tent, and I was actually looking for something like that but Ya, importing and all that... would prefer to buy local as I want to get started now. But for the bigger tent I have an exhaust and intake, and would like to put a filter, like in the picture I attached, on that. The intake comes from the room and I'd prefer it if it could filter the air to avoid issues down the line.
