Freedom farms soil is a must. I am an organic grower for potatoes and veggies so I understand what you put in the soil will come out in the end result. I don't smoke it. Too scared of having a panic attack.  I wish to study the different strains and get more scientific knowledgeable. It is a fascinating plant.

Its all good. I have 8 Mothers whom I clone from. I grow indoors and just have begun outdoors. I began growing in April 2019. I have had such fun growing. These seeds are the first time that I have had such a bad experience. Ordered more seeds but from Overseas. I may not even get them as so much happens in SA postal services. I am really very new to this. I became very interested when my gardener planted a pip in my garden last year October. I watched as this plant grew to over 2.5 metres. A friend took the flowers off me in May. So began my journey. I had a good in doors crop last month. Thank you for all your help young man.

Ah ok. I think I am getting confused. Between your small and big grows. Lol

Same happened to mine. so I put her under a 85w CFl 6400k.  she looked sick for a long time. and i see finally this week she is peaking up. The bright side is I know i have at least one lady...

Well lets see what they look like first off. I also had plants i was going to toss, but they seem to be mending now with the right care. I have realized though that some strains seem almost fragile to grow. will see. I am also just learning and growing and learning.

I grew them indoors. Dropped them in water and they sunk. Then placed them in tissue paper and they seeded. Then planted them in seedling soil purchased from GreenThumb.

Watered when the soil felt light and looked dry.

No Nutrients as second leaves did not even come out and they look yellow. Have not grown at all over the last 2 weeks.

It's an organic pesticide I sprayed on the plants. It's actually a powder. Just a light spray really.

Been having some problems replying on other members' threads. Seems I'm not the only one, Smellyjoe has had similar probs.
Sofar this is when I comment on CREX and IGROWDAGGA'S threads.

(I don't have permissions to change title) Thought I would share my experience here.
 
I replanted some plants in the ground outside.
Being a bit worried as I didn't have and steel trellises or wire frames I read up a bit on covering your plants with plastic bottles.
This I did for all 4 plants.
I found that the colour of the bottle has a HUGE role to play in this.
 
The lighter of the two colours I used almost killed 3 out of 4 plants.

Thought I would update.
I have three reasons I believe I struggled with these plants.

1. I used really old untreated soil from a previous "Grow".

2. It hated the environment inside after being outside so long.

3. Was just going into reveg.

I'm using a Bestva LED that looks pretty much like the 1000W one you posted, that +  2 x 100-100W CFLs and 1 * a 100W LED spot-light  (super DIY stuff). I could certainly do with a lot more light, but the results have not been bad so far. If you have no choice I think you'll be ok with what you have for now. I.e. don't stop while you wait for a perfect or even good setup. Perhaps consider going direct to flower for faster turnaround on the first grow, may also be better for less light.
Which is not to say that I disagree with anything said above, its very good advice. I not sure I'd have got this LED lamp had I been on the forum longer, though perhaps I'd never have started growing if I had to wait to pay 3* more. Personally I'm also looking at what I need to do to improve my light situation, I'd love a better LED setup. I'm just saying I think you can grow for meds so long while sorting things out.
BTW once you get to 30 posts, send a message to @ 420sa and ask to join the seed/clone exchange club. I may have some extra clones in the next few weeks as it happens. So just DM me a reminder if you are interested and I'll see what I can do.

If you use it as medicine, it sounds as if it's needed.
 
You have the choice of either growing your own, where you have the ability to grow whatever strain you want and chances are the quality will be far superior to what you would be purchasing. Upfront it may cost a bit more, however will be far cheaper than purchasing all the time and save you money in the long run.
The second option is to take the money and buy bud. In the long run it will end up costing more, but will be cheaper short term.

I have a 400w HPS/MH setup
All ready to go when you are ready... 
I haven't posted them yet, but if you're keen I can make it happen

@PsyCLown thank you much. Uhm.. yeah about the budget and saving. I am a father of 3 and my wife recently lost her Job. the struggle is real. I dont think i am trusting that LED i have to be honest. but this is my opinion i guess. I have moved all my plants outside now. save about 4 seedlings. maybe i should hold up on the LED and use the one I have. I have learned that Soil make a Maaaaaaasive difference.

having said that @CreX I might just possibly be interested in the HPS.

sigh. I have no idea.
