  1. Problem is I dont know the heritage of the plant..if amber is degraded THC, why should I let the THC become CBN? I dont like the stone effect, but some of my friends do. What I decided to do since its my first grow and unknown strain, I want to harvest some mostly cloudy, and some with more amber and some with alot of amber to have various samples cos i kept clones and if the smoke is not good I can just plant the clones out in nature somewhere and get my real sativas in the tent. Im not in a hurry, im still going to slow dry and cure them..so its not just cos im im a hurry, its purely for Learning purposes.
  2. Yeah Super stoked...celebrate on a bowl!!! This is just what i need for new tent... Thanks 420SA and Hydro Herb Africa for this amazing price, will be sure to plant some awesome clones in there!!!
  3. Im checking them daily to see any ambers. Im gna try harvest at 10% amber for the first lot and then harvest every other day after that with some more amber to see which buds give me the high im looking for
  4. I know Sannies beans are winners lol, they affordable and he is a really cool guy too. I decided to go for the Sativa Mix and maybe later I will grab an Indica mix to have best of both so that I can be able to breed some of my own stuff. Even champion smokers and well seasoned smokers get amazingly high and baked off his genetics. So many great reviews about his service and quality..its a no brainer.. I cant wait, I even upgraded my whole Grow setup to accommodate these seeds.
  5. Decided to build my own tent...giving it a shot..sofar its costing me R320...lets see if its gna work out okay...
  6. Im also super excited..just didn't buy the tent it looked too big...but maybe today il have a tent... otherwise il order in the week. Il update as soon as i can sort it all out
  7. Went out yesterday and bought myself a 400w Digital Ballast, 400w HPS bulb, 6" CoolTube, 6" Inline extractor, Ducting, Carbon pellets...super stoked...and some Beans on the way too...Some Sannies Jack Regs, Kolossus Regs, Killing Fields Reg, and Shiva X Cinderella 99....GEAH!!!!
  8. Hi all, Since I use these nutrients in my Hydroponic System, and also had no Idea of the Nutrient Breakdown, I decided to post my findings for others who may need a little more light on these nutrients. ....................................................................... NUTRIENT A Nutrient A is a water soluble combination of plant nutrients suitable for use in hydroponic (soil-less) crop production systems, and when used together with potassium sulphate and/or calcium nitrate it is a balanced source of macro- and micro-nutrients. When Nutrient A is applied to the irrigation water as directed, the nutrients are readily available and provide for optimum plant growth and high yields of good quality. Please note: Nutrient A needs to be used in conjunction with Nutrient B to provide all the nutrients your plants require. For Flowing plant, you will also require MPK (Bloom Booster) How much do you Need: 525g makes 5l of Concentrated Nutrient Solution. You will then mix (depending on the growth stage of your plant between 1ml to 11ml of Nutrient Solution per 1 litre of water). Nutrient A Contains: Nitrogen N 68g/kg Phosphorus P 42g/kg Potassium K 208g/kg Magnesium Mg 30g/kg Sulphur S 64g/kg Trace Elements: Iron Fe 1284 mg/kg Manganese Mn 299mg/kg Boron B 373mg/kg Zinc Zn 194mg/kg Molybdenum Mo 37mg/kg ................................................................................................ NUTRIENT B Nutrient B (Calcium Nitrate) is a source of nitrogen for plant nutrition, and of calcium for the correction of bitter pit in apples, corky spot in pears and other calcium deficiency disorders in crops. Please note: Nutrient B needs to be used in conjunction with Nutrient A to provide all the nutrients your plants require. For Flowing plant, you will also require MPK (Bloom Booster) How much do you Need: 350g makes 5l of Concentrated Nutrient Solution. You will then mix (depending on the growth stage of your plant between 1ml to 16ml of Nutrient Solution per 1 litre of water). Nutrient B Contains: Nitrogen N 117g/kg Calcium Ca 166g/kg ............................................................................................... MPK NUTRIENT Monopotassium phosphate (also potassium dihydrogen phosphate, KDP, or monobasic potassium phosphate, MKP or MPK) — KH2PO4 — is a soluble salt which is used as a fertilizer, a food additive and a fungicide. It is a source of phosphorus and potassium. It is also a buffering agent. When used in fertilizer mixtures with urea and ammonium phosphates, it minimizes escape of ammonia by keeping the pH at a relatively low level. MKP is a fully water-soluble P-K fertilizer. It contains 23% P and 29% K. As a Nitrogen-free fertilizer, MKP is the perfect instrument to control the so important nutrient balance between N, P and K. Using MKP offers the opportunity to give the most preferred K-source, but also to limit or avoid the use of Nitrogen in accordance to the crop’s needs. Due to its high quality characteristics, MKP can be applied in hydroponic systems, in fertigation or as a foliage spray. How much do you Need: 125g makes 5l of Concentrated Nutrient Solution. You will then mix (during early flowering stage of your plant between 2ml to 5ml of Nutrient Solution per 1 litre of water). MPK Contains: Phosphorus P 227g/kg Potassium K 286g/kg Happy Growing Nutrient-A-B-Instructions.pdf
  9. Quick update, I cleaned my res and also changed feeding cycle to more aggressive MPK with 50% cut on the A nutrient and Kept B the same replaced the 50% A nutrient with MPK. Res is now at 5.9Ph... Thanks for the advice I went and re-read my feeding schedule you were right all along thanks for waking me up. I read about it but maybe i forgot about that...Newbie mistake lol i know now my grow is gonna improve right away. Thanks again
  10. For now its going to be Timer Resets daily because of Eskom
  11. Whats bothering me is that their roots are in the water for long now but not much growth only the one picked up and is growing well compared to the others. No air thanks to Eskom Load Shedding
  12. Can i pull some deadish leaves at the bottom to improve or will it be harmful to clones
  13. Unfortunately I cant give them much attention but they are alive...Im a first time cloner also
  14. Thank Maxwell il give that a go...I don't have a EC Pen but im confident enough to drop half of A and B 30% and MPK il keep the same and move with the schedule thanks for the advice. Im actually doing a Res change today on the cloner the leaves are yellowish i didnt pay too much attention to them but one is growing and kept the dome on to help keep the plant down and wide until my flowering closet is free . The Cloner res needs attention ASAP. I will up the ph also ...this could have been major work but lucky its Res change day works in my favour lol Thanks for the advice buddy
  15. Thanks Maxwell, The nutes im using are on a feeding chart but not named npk..its A and B Nutrient and MPK ...I think when the res runs low at times the nute mix is too strong, but i do try my best to keep it on level. Not sure whether nute A or B is N so i didn't wanna experiment.I would drop N if i could. Ph i usually start off on 5.5 and over the week it usually goes up to about 6.. PH usually doesn't drift too far..I used to do 5.8ph and changed to 5.5 based on green house seed Super lemon haze grow..so basically between 5.5 and 6 now
  16. 13 February 2015 Day 37 Flowering... One of the baby plants at the bottom..the mini top cola...last pic for the day
  17. @420...if i lost this crop, you will see a grown ass man cry lol
  18. way to go 420sa! Thanks for adding the post in...much appreciated
