  1. I guess it was just what I was exposed to.

I grew up without weed until I was about 18...never saw it... Never smelled it... Nothing...

I grew up in a small town called Amanzimtoti and was very sheltered.

When I was introduced to weed... It was super low quality crushed leaves... And it staaaaank.... But that was later known as proper jut... But where ever I did get any weed that I was told is great, was usually called skunk... 20 Rand banky of brown muck... Regrettably I didn't know any better... But if I had to blame someone for giving me this outlook on skunk... It would be my early days dealers trying to make whatever buck they could... Forever tarnishing my views on skunk weed.

For me, my ears perk up if someone whispers about a cheese they have... Or a blueberry they know of... Rooibard if I had to pick a south African favorite.

  2. Shot for the clarity brother.

Donations and charity causes are really great man, so props to you.

And as for the seeds, as much as they may be decent breeding stock... It's just not the strains I'm personally looking to grow... I know you are a fan of the landraces, but I think you are starting a bit too far back for most new guys who are more interested in current genetics.

Growing up I was introduced to jut weed. And among my group of friends, skunk weed was never a reference to good or great weed... Always referred to kak cheap skyf as skunk.

Also, the skunk is very sativa and not entirely suitable for beginners in my opinion, unless you have a ton of outdoor space and privacy.

The Afgan though, sounds good. Nice compact breeding projects for indoor.

Im not tryna diss your post, it is a great initiative!! But even more honesty... Is peeps that are ready to learn how to breed would likely also have an idea of what they want to breed, possibly they even have the breeding plants to use.

    Peace and love bro
