    Why's your pot miff bru?

😂 Man to this day I'm still not sure. I spoke to the freedom farms guys when the expo was in town and the guy reckoned that it could be a combination of over watering and having it outside 24/7🤔.

I let it dry out and seemed to improve just before I cut her down.

  2. A lot has changed since the last update. This is just shy of 60 days from germination.

Looking ok overall. Quite happy with the size of her, especially when compared to my first auto outdoor that only yielded 5g dry.

@Dope_Boy26 do you mind sharing your biobizz feeding schedule ? guess your using freedomfarm graft soil?

Not much of a schedule, I'm afraid. I've just been adding 1-2ml of fishmix and now bloom per liter of water with nearly every watering. Seems to be working ok as is. Looking very healthy from what I can tell.

I'll be following this one. I bought a Gorilla Glue auto, also fast buds. Will be growing in the same medium, same pot and nutes. Just I'll be under LED. This will be a good guideline.

Did she start throwing out pistils yet @Dope_Boy26?

Just about started. Plenty growth in the last few days. Started added biobizz bloom when feeding. Really happy with the way its looking so far.

  5. Got a GSC Auto by Fastbuds. Growing it in a 20L Freedom pot with Freedom farms premium classic growing medium. Will only be using Biobizz fishmix and bloom.

Pic below is 32 days from seed. Got some LST going using pipe cleaner.

So chopped her down a week ago. Been drying in the tent. Trimming it down a bit further at the moment and then into jars. Overall I'm pleased with the way its looking.

looking good bud! How many days in flower are you?

52 days since i switched to 12 hours light. 1st pic is about 10 days old. Bottom one I took about 4 days ago.

  9. Been a while since I last updated this one.

Struggled with the stretch. Some of the tops got too close to the light and got burned. I managed to squeeze a few extra centimeters from my space by using cable ties to keep the cooltube up instead of the rope ratchets.

Also the leaf tips started showing signs of what looks like slight nutrient burn. Been flushing for about a week now. Looks like it hasn't got any worse.

Temps and RH have been consistently good for the last few weeks. Overall I think I'm satisfied with the way its going. Another few lessons learned this time on my quest for the perfect grow.

Probably a few others around as well.

  11. Just into the third week of flower now.

Skipping the usual maintenance this week. Just topping up with water when needed. Worred about spikes in the RH but on average it seems ok.

Think I may have lost control of the stretch somewhat. I have very little vertical space left to lift the light any higher than it is now. Leaves showing signs of heat stress?! Hope it doesn't stretch any more than this but the growth has definitely slowed alot in the last few days.

On the bright side I'm seeing some flower finally.

  12. An update for this week.

Did the usual weekly maintenance. Fucked up and broke one of the main branches clean off. No way to reattach. Overall health doesn't seem to have been affected.

Stretch over the last week has been crazy. I've stopped tucking them under the net. Hope it doesn't stretch much more than this.

Overall everything looks OK to me. Just worried about the RH. Been going into the 60s at times. Between 45 & 55 for the most part.

2 x 3KVA double conversion online UPS, and 3KVA genie for the win.

Heres where LED scores BIG points. Keep the lights on, don’t worry about heat.

Better get get used to it dudes. It’s not going away, and it’s gonna get worse. Think carefully where you wanna spend your next R10k for upgrades.

You are definitely right about it getting worse. It's been off for 5 consecutive hours now.:classic_angry:

  14. Another week down.

Did the usual weekly maintenance of cleaning the container and changing out water. Also defoliated a bit.

The active air intake has really helped keep the average temps lower than they were before. Now averaging a high if about 31 and low of 23.

Load shedding not doing me any favors, RH jumping to 90's during power cuts and I was away for the weekend so my light cycle also out of sync. I hope the end result isn't affected too much.

Also noticed some damage to some fan leaves, small holes or torn edges. On closer inspection it looks like it may be my makeshift trellis net.

Overall I think I'm happy with how it's going. Pics not much to go on but any input or constructive criticism is welcome.

@Dope_Boy26  dude my rh hits like 75% with lights off during loadshedding ,I've been taking her out of the tent during those 2 hours just for fresh air, also really worried.

I've been away for the weekend and so far the loadshedding has only hit me when I wasn't home so not able to take it out of tent as you do.

  16. Due to the power cuts my schedule has moved about 12hours, so instead of lights on at 6pm the lights come on at 6am. Not ideal for temp control, among others.

Question is, should I leave it as is for now or reset the timer to its original 6pm lights on? Resetting it means there would be more than 12 hours of light for the day that I reset it. Keep in mind I'm just short of a week into flower.

    Thoughts?

    Hi

I currently have a plant 12/12 and she's already started to flower, my problem is the loadshedding in my area.

do you think the 2 hours of darkness during loadshedding will stress her or cause her to reveg?

I recently started flower and this load shedding has got me worried. My RH jumped to 92 during the 2 hours that the electricity was off.

  18. End of another week.

Did the usual weekly reservoir cleaning. Also added a small active air intake. Hoping it helps with the temps in the tent. Hydor 100mm that I got on special at Brights.

Also removed my acoustic ducting and went with standard ducting. Acoustic was taking up too much space and less flexible than the regular ducting. Extraction seems to have improved as a result.

Trying to be patient but need to switch to flower by the end of this week. I've already switched to the HPS from MH last night in preparation.
