If that's what they look like after you've topped up the soil, then it's more than likely wind that bent ur girls over.
They've gotten super stretchy looking for light. I would add more soil to support them & find a spot outside that gets the most sun.
I'm lucky, I have a spot in my garden that gets full sun from 8am till 7:30pm ,or whenever sunset is, and it's hidden from neighbors & other nosey ppl.

So you don't think it's due to the seedlings being too sensitive to the heat today because it is quite a hot day?

If the tap root was exposed for long time to UV its unlikely to survive, if the main stem is broken, its unlike that it will survive either, that being said:
None of the roots were exposed and onl one of the stems seem damged

Hey, I started my first grow(gonna be outdoor) of 5 seeds about two weeks ago and the seedlings broke surface about 10 days ago. Everything was looking good up until today. They sleep inside at night and at about 10am I moved them outside into the sun and when I got home at 15:00, 3 of the seedlings had toppled over. Was wondering if this could be caused from over watering or heat stress or whether the seedlings didn't get enough light early on and have just stretched too much.
Using standard potting soil and seeds of an unkown strain and have been watering daily with small amounts of water by spraying it on the soil around the stem.
The one stem looks quite damaged from toppling over but I used toothpicks to prop up the three of them and hopefully they recover. They are now back indoors in an area where they recieve sunlight(not huge amounts)
*The two seedlings that didn't topple over are the shortest however they also have a slight paleness in a couple spots*
Any suggestions as to what I should do?

Those are crappy old tech LEDs. If you want LED grow lights your best price / option is to buy from growopz or build your own using quality cobs or quantum boards. You can grow under almost any LED but if you want sizable, dense frosty nugs you'l need the newest tech to do so and it's going to cost money. Cheap LEDS are only good for seedlings and clones in veg. You can grow full plants in veg but they will grow much slower under those floodlights than cobs or quantum boards.
With LED the idea is that its costly upfront but saves you money over time with electricity costs and bulb replacements
@Batista lumen ratings aren't an indication of usefulness for growing, you want ppfd or umol j
Yeah I know going for cheap LED's isnt the best idea but I don't want to invest so much money in a grow light when this is gonna just be a hobby with no cash return

Still haven't decided where/what lights to purchase but I just stumbled across these on takealot: https://www.takealot.com/jb-luxx-100w-limited-edition-high-power-led-flood-light/PLID47074210?utm_source=rtbhouse&utm_medium=retargeting&utm_campaign=rtbhouse-retargeting
Do you think If I used 2-3 of them I could grow 3 plants?

QB's can be bought on amazon or directly from HLG, alternatively you can get QB's on alibaba, either R2T or Meiju are okay. I got mine from Mejiu, however shipping was rather costly, if you buy just the boards without heat sinks the weight will most definitely be cheaper. There are so many different configurations you can choose from, lots of people go for the smaller QB boards and build a large array. You then just wire them up to mean well drivers. Many people I've seen run many boards at much lower wattage with no heat sinks .
Just rather head over to the intl forums to check the LED sections, there is tons of information to digest so pointless for me to copy and paste.
Do quantum boards 100% need to have heatsinks?

3, maybe 4 would be pushing it.
thats perfect for what I'm planning. Can the drivers for the qBoards be bought in south africa or do you reccomend doing it all international?

So with those 4 quantum boards on that setup how many plants do you rate I could grow?

Also about the cheap chinese shit, I was planning on getting a viparspectra 300 watts but couldnt find one that shipped here

Stay away from those LED's, not true watts, epistar or epiled (garbage) and they burn out fast.
Go for these :
You'll just need to get a matching driver.
So how do the quantum boards work with drivers and whats the wattage equivelent of 1 quantum borad?

budget I'd like to try keep below 2k and yield not sure per a plant but I'd like to grow 2-3 plants effectively

Hey guys~
I'm about to begin purchasing all the supplies for my first grow setup. I'm planning on using a 120x60x165 grow tent and making most of the setup quite simple. The only thing I'm struggling with are my lighting options. After doing lots of research I would like to go with LEDs and currently I'm gonna go for this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PH1MQV8/ref=twister_B07G1X9WDC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&coliid=I3NWA0TLWRM29M&colid=36XJU6JJ1Y5YB.
Has anyone bought anything from Amazon? Also if anyone has suggestions for local lighting options that aren't LEDs I'm all for listening!
edit: probs should have mentioned my budget. Trying to stay below 2k

Thanks guys I think I've got enough info to order

I only buy from local banks that give seeds in sealed breeder packs.
Trophy seeds does customer orders as @Dr. Green states, however by little longer its like 9 days.
Thanks

Start growing with bagseed instead, far cheaper school fees. Grown properly it will knock the socks off the original bud you got it from.
Yeah personally I don't really smoke at the moment but I've asked my brother and all my friends to check for seeds but they mostly have indoor or greenhouse which usually doesn't have seeds.

Hey guys, I'm new to this and have done about a month of research and am finally ready to start my first grow. I was hoping to buy seeds locally, currently leaning towards purchasing from pachamama or biltong and budz since theyve got the strains I'm looking for. My only concern is how do I know that I am getting the gentics that I ordered and not some shitty seed. If anyone has had experience with these two suppliers please let me know :)
Thanks in advance
