Sorry.. Would it be safe to start in small pots after germinating call it 1 gallon pots and transplant to bigger pots as they grow or would this not be recommended?

The room is 9sm. How many plants fit into a sm?

Hi Thank you So I have been looking around and have decided to go hydro indoors I have a spare room thats not getting used. I need help with lighting not sure what to get and use. Then also what nutrients would be best. Will be planting in Cocopeit.
