  1. Good Morning All,

I am a passionate organic grower. I have been accused of not understanding my plants as I don't smoke weed. My passion for cannabis's goes far deeper than just getting stoned. My husband died of cancer but sadly we put him on cannabis's oils rather late in his cancer treatment. Stage 4 had already set in.

I love what the plant can do for those who get sick. I was wondering what is the view point amongst other growers who do smoke their lovely grows if they look down at those of us who don't smoke their own flowers.

Thank you and have a lovely grow day. The rain is now getting me down. My poor ladies are battling with bud rot and to destroy them breaks my heart but I have to.

Assuming that you are based in SA. Outdoor veg time starts now until about January. From then on the plants will start flowering due to deacreasing daylight hours. Harvest window is from March until May ideally. If you want your plants to flower now, you have to introduce less daylight hours, say 12hours or less. Hope that helps✌️

Ok so then I need to cover them with black plastic at 6pm till 6 am.

@Valda hope all is well :-greenthumb

you wana chop the plant down by April or you wana smoke the weed by April? how big is the plant?

you can deprive a plant of light to induce flower, some people build greenhouses with a "built-in" light deprevator, basically just something you can easily manage to put "on and off" to black out a certain area. remember light leaks and stray lights during dark cycle will cause foxtails and may even push the plant to hermie. so if you create a black out make sure it blacks out completely.

if your outdoor is in a pot, allow 12h sun light a day then move them into complete darkness.

if you're planted in the earth you can get a wood/pvc structure of sorts to go over the plant and use black drop sheet to cover the plant and reduce light down to 12hrs.

Thank you for your great reply. My pots are 100 liters. They are already very big. I really enjoy reading the replies.

I am in Sa and your reply was what I was looking for. Brilliant. Thank you so much.

  5. I think my Mothers had a bad Genetic. Some plants cannot take any form of stress and when they do they turn Hermie. My indoor plants were doing great and then one plant became stressed due to load shedding, and then to top it all our local Electrical transformer blew so they were without lights for 2 days. She turned Hermie and infected some of my indoor plants. I was devastated. I do know what I am doing but as these plants have a mind of their own its very difficult to always understand them. Hence why I love this plant. My outdoors are still beginning to flower so I suspect Mommy has a bad genetic. Its an AK47. Will decide to pull her out of the pot soon but so much love and organic food has gone into her. Will miss her.

  6. All by hand. I have a very good gardener. Thank you for saying I have a sweet garden. I planted many fruit trees as well, so they will also benefit from the tea. i shall keep a spot light on them at night. I have a Yorkie that suffers from stress when she is away from me.  One day she began eating the leaves and a few flowers that fell on the floor. I noticed it calmed her down some what. Dare I say she was stoned that night. Something I cannot relate to as I don't do "Dagga" smiles. She slept like a baby.

  8. Humic Acid.???? MILK!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me. Lol. Milk I know but Humid acid. Maybe I shall ask Green thumb. The gents there are super helpful.

Can I start planting my clones outside in the ground?  I worry they will go into flower. I had over 10 turn into Hermies. I turfed them out.

I did start my tea in a huge green Jojo tank as i wish to feed my garden as well as my plants. Used Culterra compost, Molasses, Kelp and that pump thingy to make air.
