The generosity and kindness on this forum is second to none. I'm what you can consider a lockdown grower so i am pretty new to the indoor game. It started off with a jug of homebrew moonshine, a cabinet and a 9w LED lead light. Next step was 200 odd watts of CFL's and 3 shelving units converted into a grow cabinet. Needless to say the hunt was soon on for LED's but lockdown and no money proved a bit of a challenge. Saving the pennies and MW driver I happened to have it wasn't long before I had a decent light. And now I have a light that is ideal for my flower cabinet thanks to @Light It Up. So I started my research.This is the image available and info given on the website. The parcel got delivered to a family member due to logistics and unfortunately I cannot say if it was courier damaged or after. Wherever or however it got damaged has exposed a weak point in the packaging which I'm sure @Light It Up will look into and rectify. I'm hoping all's OK inside. Once opened there is a thick layer of bubble wrap. Feeling better.Next is a layer of the electronic parts of the light all snug in bubble wrap some of which I removed to take the photo. The light comes wired for those like me who are electrically challenged which is a bonus. A 3m cable to the light allows you to place the driver in a position of your choice. Unfortunately this is where I find out the hanging wires are missing. Damn. Plan made and light hanging nice and neat with minimal wiring in the cabinet. A power meter finishes off the light. So. I've you what the website says. I've given you what I got. All that's left is to put plants under them and keep you all updated. I'm sure I've missed one or two points I was thinking of mentioning but 'Then I got stoned'. Ah yes. The one point is that @Light It Up is busy with the making of a PPFD map. My thoughts only.I thought that was gonna be a problem but this light is unbelievably balanced. West Coast Vaper Posted May 28, 2021 Author Share Posted May 28, 2021 So I decided to measure the differences between the 240w and my 2 x 75w @growopz lights that I have rigged up. Bearing in mind I'm using a phone app 500mm under the centre of the lights. Not accurate but a guideline. First 2 pics the 240w. Pic 3 & 4 the 75w's. I dialled the 240w down to 140w and measured in the cabinet so reflection from the walls help. Not sure. The 75w's are dialled in at 130w - 140w and no reflecting walls. So if anything the two lights are on par with the 240w slightly ahead. Let's see how the plants like them. I'll keep you all updated.
