i planted these 2 plants around august last year, these 2 are my females and they are in week 8 of budding just need a second opinion if you think they are ready to harvest,

(recently the leaves near the bottom of the plant have begun to shrivel up and get crispy and die i was told this was one of the signs she is ready to harvest.)

any and all opinions welcome 🙏

Hard to tell without a closer look at the trichomes. Use a jewelers Loupe or mini microscope. Depanding on what effect you want from your buds, more amber trichomes, more of a sedative effect, more Milky more of a head high. You want a balance of most milky and a few amber trichomes for the right harvest time

8 weeks is a short flowering time, although ultimately you need to be able to check the trichomes as mentioned.

A loupe or microscope works well.

I somehow doubt it is ready for harvest only 8 weeks into flower as very few plants would be and typically they'd be more indica dominant strains.

is this that plant that didnt make pistols? looks really interesting hahaha.

best would be a loupe or something like the boys said... gotta get all the grow tools eventually! so why not start with odds and ends for your grow? starting with a loupe hahaha
