I wish I could get my wife involved. All she does is walk past the room and complain about the noise from the fans 🤣

Do what I did. Find a strain that's got very little high and lots of medical benefits that could replace any medication she takes eg anxiety tablets etc. Get her to germinate it. And take good care of it. She will stop complaining about the noise and the missing kitchen utensils and let's not forget those hangers we steal from her cupboard. I use to dry my buds on hangers. It became extra work. I gave her all 50 of those hangers and now she's a lot more helpful in the garden. She even knows how to check ph and feed the gals. She's always checking my controllers and updating me on temperatures etc when I'm working.

Thanks @highchome that's a cool diy but I'm talking about the biodegradable fiber pots, not the material pots like FF make.

Better to use a normal pot and transplant. These pots add too much resistance for a plant that has a short life span. Those fabric pots are great thou. Great for the roots and also for keeping fungus gnats at bay. Just put a thin layer of pool filter sand on top and bye bye fungus gnats.

Btw I don't use fabric pots atm cos they expensive when you need many and time consuming when you have to diy them.

@Bakstein420 yeah the prices are a little crazy. But you can DIY it, e.g. see https://www.420sa.co.za/topic/2174-fabric-grow-bags/

I've seen easier versions two where they just use a cable tie to hold the bottom together 🙂

I use to make my own. Quite an easy design. It ends up with a square bottom which can be beneficial to maximize floor space. And you don't have to use the weed guard material that's a bit costly. Most fabric company's sell a material called spunbond. Works perfectly. Just a little thinner.

I have a lot of loose seeds from over the few years plus a handful of seeds that I recently purchased off BnB.
I am going to germinate all 15 of them and take the 12 best looking ones [or at least the 12 that survive] and pop them into 20L fabric pots with Gold Label 70/30 Coco/Perlite that I just recently discovered.

The strains going into the gauntlet are:
Zkittlez x Purple Punch - Ripper Seeds x3 Criminal+ - Ripper Seeds x3 Royal Gorilla - Royal Queen Seeds x1 Aurora Indica - Nirvana Seeds x4 Jock Horror - Nirvana Seeds x2 Grand Daddy Purple - Green Smoke Room Seeds x2 Seed drop 2 October 2020
Light cycle flip 17 November 2020
      Harvest dates:
      1x Criminal +: 14 January 2021 1 x Grand Daddy Purple: 14 January 2021 Everything else: 17-18 January 2021
Flowering times will not be a concern as I have a spare tent that will be used just as a drying tent. I also don't plan on cloning anything yet. When I am done with this bunch I want to decide on a regular seed strain, find a mother and really dedicate to that strain for a while, whatever it may be.
So far we got some live ones popping up, the first 12 at least..

I'll update again when I've chosen and potted the Mighty 12.

Was wondering who's fabric pots everyone is using
      I know there is
Mantis , Freedom , Gorilla & Plantmatter and probably a-lot more I have not mentioned
Currently I am using Plantmatter's bags and super happy choose them because of them looking so stylish in my view and they were slight bit cheaper .
So whats your reason for your choice ?
