Got a little movement - directly into the soil feels a little less stressful than the method I used for the indoor comp (cotton wool). Possibly because the weather is warmer.

Good luck to all the growers - hope your pips pop 🌱

Still early days but so far so good. All 4 beans have sprouted.

The seeds are nicely on their way to becoming seedlings.

Just water and nutrients from the soil along with sunlight and air is all that's needed to grow.

Excellent man!!

Im also not a fan of the paper towel method.

Iv moved to jiffies and clean fresh tap water.

Pop the seed right into the jiffy, water the jiffies and keep the plate wet, and so far have had even better than 100% success rate, every seed iv done this with has popped... So let's hope I don't run into any duds hehe😜

Good luck!

Hey @CreX, shot my brother.

I don't usually go direct into the soil as I've had problems with this approach in the past, but hey, mother nature has been doing it this way for millennia.

I usually go with cotton wool but my favorite is to keep some mommies and clone.

Hope you kicking ass!

Soft juicy leaves getting attacked at night by caterpillars.

We are not the only ones who love cannabis!

Straight into soil is very scary lol.

Jiffies are just dry coco and generally free from contaminants, much like the paper towel.

I just hate handling seedlings because I have a bit of a shaky hand sometimes 😜

Did you track the bastards down or are they still at large?  Maybe they got wasted and wandered off.  Stoned caterpillars on the loose!

Some of those leafs were chowed by leaf miners. They are nasty little fuckers and play an EXCELLENT game of hide and seek.

Hahahah yea yea, outdoors, indoors - doesn't seem to matter with my plants. Sometimes feels like spider mites are taking over the world. At least they wash away easily in veg with a good hose spray.

Spider mite population on my tomatoes 😅

That was Saturday morning.

Have you ever in your life ever seen spiders drip off your leaves?

Sheesh bruh,
I have seen similar on my companion plants like celery. Took them outside and sprayed them with Doom(killemall)-celery survived, mites didn't.
But holy crap you have an invasion size force there....
What's the plan of action?

I watered the tomatoes 2 days before and saw only happy plants... Come Saturday morning and I see weird red shit dripping off the leaves??

Then saw the webs and shat my pants a little... My daughter ran away screaming when she saw what it is😂😂

I used ludwigs rose mite poison and sprayed the fuck out of everything...

The Sunday a saw a bit of movement and was Bleak that I didn't do it well enough... But come Monday... Everything was dead... Except the plants lol... I need the lady bugs to come back asap!!

Holy fu*k @CreX

This is a great example of where the cannabis industry might be heading.

It's just that much easier to head up to Spar or Woolies and buy a tub of delicious clean ripe tomatoes. Most of us will end up heading up to the local dispensary and buy a tub of clean cannabis flower (probably cheaper than we can grow it ourselves and with no effort).

BUT hopefully, all of us here will keep on growing our own!

It just tastes better!
