Howzit lekke ppl,

I always seem to be growing something, as can be seen from the 'other' herbs.
Had some swazi bagseed germinate between the basil and chillis in Spring 2018 and voila.

Largest remaining female now bearing decent heads, especially as she's in very sandy soil and does not recieve enough sun. Top dressed with my own compost and stuck to seagrow once a week, finishing her off with molasses to fatten up a bit.

1st pic Dec 18(let's see what happens)
2nd pic Feb19(almost 2m tall)
3&4 heads (smelling awesome)

Now about 1 or 2 weeks away from harvest, checking every day.
Won battles against aphids, worms and spidermites. Happy to say they all died horrible deaths...ha,ha,ha.

Had to brush up on a lot of stuff from nutes (organic and chem) to adjusting water ph and fighting all the goggas.
Glad I joined this forum, learnt a lot. Thanks a million guys and gals.

Gonna do a larger scale outdoor grow.
Babies allready germinated, will post pics soon.
Cheers vir eers

Big mama is doing well, but not quite there yet. I know it's late in the season, but she is soo close I don't want to stuff it up by harvesting early. 1st 2 pics trichs too clear.

Started the winter outdoor grow as an experiment. Extending daylight with artificial light. We have very mild winters, so we'll see how they perform. 3rd pic.587be3631c01b839d6775f735cfbf275.jpg9536d3b00b8872072b439f0dc83adb0d.jpg34fa083957062ca4b69adab845c49ee0.jpg

Evening good ppl- bit of an update.
Did a bit of harvesting pruning and curing. My swazi lady yielded 23g cured so far. Expecting a bit more from the main colas which I'm chopping tomorrow. It's not huge but it's a good start.

Evening all.
All told she finally delivered 78gr dried and cured. Did find a couple of seeded buds yielding about 40 seeds.

She smokes very well, smooth and sweet and almost none of the ''cannabis smell''
We harvested ''later'',lots of amber thrichs with CBD in mind to aid relaxation and sleep. Before bed with coffee...awesome.

Thanks to all for the inputs.(Puff puff pass)

Keep the peace.

As the title states, we started something and it's taking on a life of its own....

Pic 1 and 2 are the original Swazi mama's babies, all doing well.

3/4 The ''foreigners''

3. 2x Unknown donated fem seed from the Netherlands.

4. 2x Sour Diesel auto's from Herb Nation

5. 7 bagseed ladies from Swazi origin- The Winter experiment

6. Flowering started lekker

7. Results of topping, 6/7 colas we hope. Topped all the ladies to various degrees to keep them low and improve yield

(No 8ft sativa monsters-not stealthy)

8. One exceptional lady going BIG

9. The Ruderalis seems strong in this one.

Lots going on and keeping me out of

trouble....

All our big ladies are in flowering mode. Got some interesting shades of green coming through with the camera flash.

Got some funky twisty tips on some of the main growths. Any ideas?

Really happy with their growth, haven't had any issues worth mentioning. Got a rotation going wrt feeding/watering

1 session plain rain water

1 session AACT

1 session Seagrow

They ''dry out'' within a day or 3, we monitor the soil moisture and water/inoculate/feed accordingly.

Trying to let Mother nature do her thing - K.I.S.S. as they say.

Caught 1x worm and 3x grasshoppers munching some leaves- instant protein supplement for my koi's haha...

Most other critters munching on the sacrificial/companion plants...

The Mango Kush pheno seems very dominant in our bagseed grow.
Believe you me, I am not complaining
The last buds went up in glorious smoke....literally.

Same structure, 3 tip main leaf and buds stacking tight and dense close to the stem.
Beautiful dejavu...
Except these ladies are a bit bigger than their predecessor.
Knowledge is power

Thanks 420SA

Evening fellow horticulturists
2 of our ladies have forged ahead and started bulking up and we have increased their feeding schedule to satisfy their needs.
Despite an attempt by some spidermites and thrips trying to spoil the party.

Pushing full strength seagrow (50ml/10lit+ 2ml epsom) mixed with koipond water for added benefits.

So far so good.

Must admit I never fully understood the word ''dank''....
But these plants own that word...hahaha..
''Dank'' is perfect.

I just love this pic. The neighbour will literally see a weed flower just sticking out like that!
Hahaha...Was nervously aware of my neighbors with that plant, keeping an eye and all. Eventually I had to gently push her over(hillbilly LST) and tied her to a bamboo stake to keep her out of view.
Couldn't do much about the fragrances though.
Luckily it remained stealthy.

Evening good people,

Went upskirt on the ladies with the trimmers, 2 stage/2 day defoliation and cleanup. Cut back on all ''bullshit buds'' and ''popcorns'' in an effort to focus all the plants nutrient/energy supply on the solid buds.

Think we are going to need some extra support... love ladies with curves.

Germinated the next gen.

Mango Kush x Swazi

Swazi Gold bagseed

Bubblegum x unknown

Greenthumbs420SA

Cheers

Evening lekker people,

The ladies are doing well and putting on some good weight. Bones are for dogs...haha
The spidermites and thrips are under control, locusts and worms are another story....Lots of butterflies around.
Just try to inspect often and pick them off.
Had a bit of a calcium issue but managed to get it sorted with some dolomitic lime and powdered eggshells.
Havent had any rain for 8 weeks and RH is low-hopefully the pm stays away.

Babies have also spread their wings.

Greenfingers all the way

Evening fellow horticulturists

Did some chopping and trimming on 2 ladies, as their colours were good.

Had hoped to push them a bit more but mother nature dictates

Evening fellow greenfingers.

Our Sourdiesels are coming along nicely (1-4) despite an attempt by some ''worms'' to get a free lunch. Smoked them with some CO2 and will follow up with some 'Bacillus Thuringiensis' for good measure.

The Mangokush (5-6) seems to be more resistant to pests (thank f#$k) and is showing good colours on the trichs.
Fruity, sweet and frosty goodness.

Cheers

Morning fellow Greenfingers,

Been a helluva time the last 2 weeks.

Kept busy with the outdoor prep for the@Totemic Chocolope and other little projects. Thanks to mister@Dank

Had a really kak storm with winds around 80km/h pumping the last 2 days, nearly lost the grow house. Luckily only a few broken branches here and there.

1&2. Another Mango lady bringing the good stuff.

3. Big sativa lady with such a sour tang to her buds. Long ways to go still.

4. Latest gen of Mango ladies with nice big white flowers.

5. My Mango boy doing his thing to ensure the next generation of my Fruity Mango strain.

6.Trying my hand at a seaweed extract/ fertilizer. 2mnths to go.

Cheers vir eers.d0d4e318a9aa2a17dea0d17d7ff2f4e6.jpgea9ee5ee6407900a6589549b74872fd1.jpgc97258af4fbdf57dc44790d376351f23.jpge95bac4e682160a10dd0e07c87eafee1.jpg7612a7e67c0c9fe122dcfbc280a8641a.jpgda2b3f34cf4c5f04275d02744e21aa8b.jpg

  Morning herbologists,

What a surprise walking into this fragrant forest of ours in the mornings.

Thought I'd share a bit. Please look past the spidermite damage as I have been waging war again, seem to winning as I found some bigger guns😎

1-4. Bubblegum ladies were a gift from a friend. Very sweet scent and hard buds albeit not very large. Different pheno's coming through if you look at leaf structure etc.

5&6. Indica bagseed lady with big dense colas. Sweet chem scent. Been having a helluva time keeping the mites off her.

Luckily no signs of bud rot.

7&8. Sativa dominant Mango lady that received some late lst that turned her into a type of flat top. Easy for me to tend them as tall okes don't like bending too low.😁

9. Our forest of joys.

Have a good one.
