Hi folks. I got an email from @Cannabist confirming some massive savings on @Totemic genetics. Good morning Lettuce get to business. No need to dawdle with seedlings and veg, we're going straight into preflower on this one. To fillup the tent, I am also running 1x Wedding Cake [ @1000Hills Nursery] and 1x Choc Gelato thanks to @Cannabist I also have 5x Zkittlez x Purple Punch clones from a mother from a previous run like this one, these are to fill the tent further and provide a reference to the height I've been choosing my plant. Thus far with the clones I've managed to get them pretty consistent in height. 18 April the seedlings were repotted into their initial pots and went into veg. Flip was done on the 1st June, so we are a week+ into preflower currently. Pistols are blooming nicely on the daily. The aromas are just beginning to change to that familiar skunky funky. I began with 10 Regular Tortoni beans and ended with 4 males, 1 weak sauce Betty, and 5 sturdy females. The objective at this point is to choose one based off of whatever is the ultimate consensus of this thread. This will then be my latest addition to what will be my stable of strains. Seeing as we are doing the growoff with the feminised beans it will be shap to see the result of the regular females. Also, I want the blessings and knowledge of our papa @Totemic The plants are in order of the Tortoni's from left to right, then the additional plants. I have also taken the current heights of the plants from the base of the medium to the top of the plant. I've attempted my best to keep all the pots at the same level T#10 - 70cm T#5 - 51cm T#10+5 T#9 - 90cm T#5+9 T#6 - 87cm T#8 - 95cm ZxP - 78cm Wedding Cake + Choc Gelato - Realised I didn't measure lawl Overview I've kept everything pretty vanilla. I am slowly increasing on the light power as the plants begin to progress through preflower. Coco/Perlite 70/30 Gold Label in 17L Dirt Pots (basically thin ass fabric pots. Results vary). Terra (GHE) Aquatica nutrients. I've kept to the standard dosage as described on the bottle. I have also added a Silicon product for the duration of veg. I had a small scare with thrips but after looking around I had only found one little bugger. Three leaves had the usual silver streaky lines but it appears nothing is yikes, all lower leaves. I'm keeping a lookout. I went for a pretty standard trim on the majority of the plants. I took much of the early stems off by the flip but they just blasted in the last week and a half. I have kept conditions at a toasty 22C using a automated panel heater. It's been kak cold outside, jirre. The Wedding Cake has presented itself as quite a thirsty one, it's either a light green plant by nature or she's thirsty. I have her cloned so we can give that one another proper go with some more juice. Otherwise all the other plants are powering on. It's yo boi

What's up man... Where are you finding such autos? Sounds like some nob is trying his luck at selling seeds without too much knowledge about what is what. An auto cannot be anything other than an auto... If it needs any sort of light schedule to induce flowering... It's a photo period plant. So even tho they are fast... I'm guessing in flowering... It's still better to grow plants that flower under 12h light. Hope that helps a bit! Oh and take a look at the vendors section on the forum... You cannot grow wrong with those breeders! Indoor the 2 small pineapple expresses are struggling a bit. Not sure what the issue is? Runoff 6.6 ph, new freedom farms soil. The rest are doing great and seem to be growing well Outside the abandoned ones all have issues. Just spaying them and hoping they survive the winter. Also this sweet analog hygrometer from takelot arrived. Not bad for R150. Plus the new seeds from cannabist arrived as well. The gene pool of all these autos should make great hybrids.

Howdy all! new to the platform, this is my 3rd grow, second indoor grow ever and I and optimistic to share my winter grow, I've got a 5x5 which I will be using as veg & flower. Picked up some beans (5 fem Cheese from Greenhouse Seeds Co), from @Cannabist they also blessed me with some free Cherry Gelato CBD Fems and @Bay Seeds reg f1 hybrids. I might plant one of those CBD as I am a medicinal smoker. I am planning on running 2-3 plants. I Listen to a lot of growing podcasts like TheDudegrows and enjoy all kinds of plant growing! I've got 50+ houseplants and also enjoy growing extremely wicked peppers. As for my setup 5x5 (not gonna use the full 5x5 area this winter grow) Living soil (looking to do a buildasoil recipe) Lighting Ive got a blurple, some 36W full spectrum t5 led tubes and some full spectrum smb chips I am hoping they will get me through some time in veg I will be building a qb from digikey or buying one in the next month or so. Hoping to hear from all of you when I start my grow journal and looking forward to share my journey!

Hmmm, sounds like someone wants a state-organised seed supplier The rest of the document is pretty spot on until I got to this part about the seeds. They are thoughtful enough to mention all the socio-economic implications and the high barrier to entry for small scale farmers but couldn't do a quick Google search to check all the many seed e-stores we have currently available? Fishy. I am happy and sad if this document is legit and being considered by members of parliament; because it is pretty solid but probably also being ignored by the ones that in the end need to make the decisions on the actual regulations Hear that @Cannabist@Marijuana Seeds SA, Government thinks you're informal markets/networks. Not bad at all, bursting to be in this world already and only been in there since Sunday evening at 5pm ish. @Cannabist I assure you they are fresh from the breeders We continually rotate our stock with Nirvana directly to keep them fresh and ensure viability The packaging (for international clients) has always been the same (hence it seems old) as it is the most discreet and safest way so far. May I ask what you mean by GHSC discs?

Hey @Cannabist they come in the cards, in disguise and that also helps keep them safe from damage. How do you get them in from supplier? I'd imagine in bulk it would be a different story, just a guess.

Hey @Cannabist good to see some changes, and so many for the better too. Well done sir. May I, as you asked for constructive criticism and or feedback... Love the site, glad you took away that text nonsense that flashed at the bottom, with who bought what in what area. One thing I can suggest, is to change the background colour of the page, only on some places though, as you'll see in my attached pictures, the red or orange is a little distracting or withdrawing your focus away from the sexy bud shots. The grey is much more pleasing on the eyes, and makes the bud, POP. Otherwise, glad you back and made such good changes, all the best for you brother, peace.
