  1. This being my first real grow with using proper methods. Put these GSCookies into 48 hrs dark yesterday. Trichomes are just starting to go amber on these 3 girls. Top and bottom of these smallish plants in 5L pots are ripening at the same time, more or less so will cut entire plant and hang when ready. The red hairs are coming in faster now. I don't want my weed too stoney, though, so hoping 2 more days in dark before harvesting will be the sweet spot in. Fingers crossed :D

"Too much dark treatment can make your bud foxtail, its not really needed." - so keeping it in the dark for 1 extra day to mature a little more before cutting will do more harm than good?

"How many weeks is she bro? I see a lot a white pistils plus those few amber trichs look like a pic of a sugar leaf.

I would hold out for another week and see how she looks. "

I just realized that the close-up pic of the trichomes in the original post is not the right one. Here's a better pic of one of the girls that I put into the dark last night, so still has 2 days of Darkness to go before I cut and hang. They have all been on about the same level of ripeness before going into dark.

Sorry about the wrong pic earlier

And here is a GSC that was cut and hung last night. She was about the same level of ripeness as the above picture 2 days ago.

Do you guys reckon they are still too early to have the desired energetic effects? (and not too stoney)

Should I put the other girls still in pots back under the light for a few more days before I cut and hang?
