A huge thank you to the growers, sponsors and judges who made the Cape Town Cannabis Cup a reality. The mother city was on faya. What do you think is a reasonable amount for 150 people to each sample? Am tempted to let the growers and producers dispense their own bud this time round. 25g was scraping the barrel this time round but worked in the spirit of getting the wheels turning on short notice. Reckon its 50g going forward. Am aiming for full HPLC testing, but that depends on the sponsors. Qure have been amazing and it will be at their discretion. I don't want to take advantage of their kindness though.

Quick update on the KmintZ and ZxP, they are 8 weeks into flower tomorrow. ZxP looks pretty good to go to be honest. I will try take some trichome pics later tonight and determine how ripe they are. The KmintZ is getting a bit more colour in the pistols but I am feeling another week or two. I would also like to get a better idea from the trichomes. I have for the most part completed the hardest part of the training for the ZxP in the Organic Tent™. So far things look nice and flat, 8 main stems designated on each plant. When I get some length on each stem I will throw in the scrog net and then flip to flower.

That's a very good question... I will have to hit up a 150 dabs and get back to you on that one Probably around the 15 gram mark as a thumb suck?

I am not using them, they're taking up space in the fridge. I do not want to pour it down the drain either.

Maybe we could run this another month until the end of April? I will make an entry just so there's at least one I am coming to harvest on a current run and have something I could enter. The plant is KmintZ, it is the largest plant currently in my flower tent.

So I held out as long as possible but I eventually had to chop her down on day 78, spotted a tiny bit of mold but luckily it was only a small branch.

Consumers are very peculiar. Give them something for free they don't want it. Take that same thing, slap a huge price tag on it and it's the opposite reaction...
