  1. Happy 2021 fam The weather has been quite a bit sunnier lately. My plants get a lot of shade throughout the day with the angle of the sun right now. Trimmed the clover groundcover under the BluberryKush #4 cut for the first time, quite stoked how the smartpot is coming along. I started training the DankCheese a bit, cause she wants to outgrow her neighbors. Plan is to go for a Hedge'o'Weed with those three. The Sherbert and BlueberryKush #3 cut are much slower than the Cheese right now. I have a mole that hits the raised bed every now and then, not sure how much root damage is happening. The Tropic Bananas from InHouseGenetics are doing well so far, not many issues. A bug topped the TB #1 so she is starting to bush out nicely. 5. The LGO's are coming along nicely. Lost a few to a rookie mistake with a soil mix I should have known to be to hot.. Some I managed to save in time.. Topped a few and fimed the rest.. Planing on vegeing them outside, take cuttings when they show sex and then finish them off Indoor. Wich would be my first indoor run. Stay safe guys and girls Had to remove allot of leaves due to leaf minors.. Have them bad for the first time ever...

  7. @PsyCLown Right that explanation helps a lot thanks, i was thinking about it more in terms of direct power instead of how much space it'll cover @Ill_Evan Much appreciated

  8. With my first mid range grow attempt i thought I'd give 'just canabis' medium a try. You know, the easy start. Just add water right? Well look at the images attached thats giving it 6.5phed water, nothing else. I started thinking my ph pen could be a issue but friends seem to have great success with cheap ass ones. I have the plant!t one. So these are both autos Northern sky and blueberry. I think they flowered way too soon but i know nothing about autos. Had it on 20 hours light and 4 sleepy-time. Both are super light green with one weirdass dried leaf and the rest of the plans is lime green :/. The blueberry is dried everywhere eish. So thinking it could be N deficiency i gave it a tiny bit of ghe (grow, micro and bloom) mix and epson salts. My plants tend to be very small, must be something im missing... Disappointed that its not as easy as i thought with the soil since i thought if going straight coco but yeah. Some pointers on what i can try would be appreciated. I have two photoperiod seeds I'll try next. I was excited for the autos tho. Help me fill my tent with plant :P please

  9. Take care of your probe and it should last. Rinse it off after use, use the storage fluid to keep the sponge damp and always close the cap after use. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  10. You'll never need to swap out your electrode. My PH80 is going two years now and still accurate as ever. I bought a spare thinking I'd need to replace the other one soon but it's still going strong. I use the spare just to double check every few months to make sure the original is still good.

  11. Welcome @Silva Indoor vs outdoor, they're the same but not really. lol It kinda depends on what you want to do and what you are able to do. Indoor is going to cost a lot more as there is quite a bit of additional equipment required and decent outdoor is good... however good quality indoor is better I feel. Indoor you have more control. If you are growing photoperiod plants, you tell them when to flower so you can get multiple harvests in a year. More expensive. With outdoor, you need to submit to nature at times and work with what you got. If you are growing photoperiods, only one harvest per year. Cheaper. I personally prefer indoor, however you need to decide which is the route you want to go and ensure you have a sufficient budget for it as well.

  13. Thinking of going with the normal High Porosity. I see now coco is more expensive than FF soil. Why though? I also saw this FF coco and perlite mix: https://hydroponic.co.za/hydroponics/freedom-farms-coco-perlite-growing-medium/ I have some perlite to add so still going for the more expensive coco from Atami. I wanted to get the HM P200 due to the electrode being swapable. The following seem to be a good deal that includes a ec meter. Still have a lot of ghe trio so please check my grow journal in a month or two and help out there please.

  14. Thanks for that advice Prom. I had two come up like this. Next time I’ll go a little deeper. This time the seeding shrugged it off overnight. You can see the discarded husk just to the left of the seedling. Good girl! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Put a moisture dome over.. as long as the husk stays moist, the plants can bend em open.. when the husk dries out, can decapitate the seedling. Also, if you have to many coming out of the medium with husk.. plant em 0.5cm deeper as a starter. Best is when the medium helps to get them off. Easy way to remove a husk, use 2 medium size fishing hooks. Easy to hold and nice to pull the husk open without hurting the plant.

  17. Agree with the above comments. Just Cannabis seems to be a bit of hit and mis, seems to be more coco than 'soil', dont need those kind of problems especially with autos. Mate of mine ran into issues with JC, was having PH related 'N' deficiencies, but managed to pull through by flushing, but the plants were small. JC Soil seems hot or not properly matured, read suggestions that mixing JC with FF could stabilize it a bit?

  18. Personally, I have seriously enjoyed coco and GHE for my indoor plants, and I like using organic soil with BioBizz for my mother plants and outdoor plants.

  19. I must agree, growing isn't difficult when you use the right products and have the right equipment. Lots of members on this forum will be more than happy to help you and guide you through your grows. Decide which route you'd like to go for your next grow (soil, coco or something else), let us know and you'll get assistance for sure! Nothing wrong with soil or coco. I personally prefer coco but had good success when I used soil as well. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk
