  3. What up growmigos So got abit bored and wanted to do 1 last run before the year is up. Gona give the autos a break for now. STRAINS Regulars - Choc Gelato x Ghost Train Haze (5) shout out to @Totemic Feminized - White Rhino (5) Bag - OG Kush (3) Started off in small pots. Was all i had. And due to this not being an auto run, they would need transplants later on. ( i wanted to start small and then select the best babies to be transplanted.) Due to the unpredictability of the bag seeds and the regulars i decided to pot a few and see which will be worthy of a transplant. Im going to try and keep them outdoors for now. As my grow box currently has the Mixed auto run. If sprouting and growing goes well. I will then put them in the grow box and let the autos grow outdoors. (The autos havnt started flowering yet, so waiting on that) Seeds poted today. So first watering should be in a couple of days. Weather is bleek this week so pots not drying up too much. ✌

  6. So this is my second attempt at a grow. The first ended in disaster after about 2 days when a worm crawled up out of the soil and ate both cotyledons in one day. I waited a little bit longer before posting this because it took me longer to write the forum post last time than I manged to keep the plant alive. I am growing 2 seeds. The intention is to put one indoor under lights and one outdoors and compare the results (I am going to add both to this grow report).I have planted both in their final 20l fabric pots and have used a mix of compost, coco-peat, garden soil and worm castings as the growing medium. I cut a toilet roll if half and put it over the seedlings to hopefully keep worms out. I am using water from the koi pond to water the plants (is this a good idea)? I dropped the seeds in a glass of water till they sank (took around 18 hours) and planted them immediately afterwards) The seeds sprouted 2 to 3 days ago (2 days after being planted) and I can now see the first true leaves forming. The one plant broke soil really easily and I didn't have enough light on it for the first 24 hours. It stretched quite a bit during this time (photo attached). The second one had a bit of trouble breaking the soil so it stayed a bit more compact and had sufficient light since being exposed to air. Is the stretching of the first seedling something I should be concerned about? Is it going to have long term effects during the grow? Should it affect my decision of which plant to put inside and which one to grow outside? It is about 10cm high at the moment while the other one is less than 2cm.

  8. 10 November 2020 Quick update. The first seed that popped is still below ground. The second seed that popped was first to break the soil. 5 of the 6 seeds has popped. 2 Are still on the paper towel while the other 4 are in the soil. First...

  9. Enjoy. The GTH mother is a high yielder. Ran her in a 30l pot. Grew 6 branches and got 100gm off her.

  14. I see you found the right spot for your grow diary bud. That soil looks super dry in the pics, or maybe its just my phone. Anyway the stretch shouldn't impact at all. If anything it may need some support while the roots get established if grown in a windy enviroment. I'm not sure about the koi pond water, hopefully someone more educated will comment on that. Do you atleast know the ph of the water?

  17. my tent has flapson the inside and outside of where the zip is, so that when zipped up, the flaps cover the zip and reduce light leaks. maybe you could add your own flaps of sorts... as for the pinhole leak... that im sure is either a manufactring defect, or you poked your tent with something haha... some ductape will sort you out in that case... also, thats the light coming OUT of the tent. you would need to reverse the experiment where you have lights outside the tent, and the inside is dark, close yourself up into the tent... then you can see if you have any light leaks coming into your tent

  18. I've ordered the cheap yellow pen now. Raised my lights about 5cm and readjusted fans. Also ordered a second thermometer because the one I have is all over the place. I'll adjust my feeding too. I hope all of this helps. The slurricane will be repotted into a 20litre fabric pot. But she still has some time to go before she gets flipped.

  20. What's up man, Some nice strains you got going there, really keen to see how they turn out. I really hate to be that guy and I mean no disrespect or anything but to me your plants look like they having a bit of a tough time getting going. I personally find autos a bit tricky and usually stay away from them (I'd even rather do a fem 12/12 from seed lol), however recently I scored some autos on the cheap so decided to try my luck at autos again. I realized with my previous autos I wanted to give them the world and always fussed over them and made sure to get them every nutrient I could afford, this was my downfall as I now realize with autos, less is more. So for this run I am using the KISS method(Keep It Simple Stupid) and I can honestly say I might have a good harvest from these autos, still early to tell but this round my autos are still alive after 27 days and still looks green lol so that's a good sign. I started them in coco plugs and then into 10L pots with FF Premium soil after they sprouted. The first week or so I only fed them EM Pro Microbes and let them feed off the soil, around the 2nd week I started with a very light dose of Pot Radix to boost the root growth and now I will start with Pot Grow. I think I noticed some preflowers on them this morning so will continue with Pot Grow for another week and then switch to the Pot Flora. My advise to you would be to hold back on the nutes and the coconut water for a few watering's and water with PH balanced water or if you have microbes you can add that. I'm just concerned that if you 41 days into your grow your plants might not have time to recover and get as big as they could. You can take a look at my grow here if you like: https://www.420sa.co.za/topic/4364-unknown-auto-run-groen-seeds/

  21. I may be wrong but the way I understand it, when the plant is in flowering mode it focuses more on the buds than roots so I don't think you need to put in another pot, a few roots at the bottom is fine. As mentioned above rather water less more offen and check PH. Do you feed the soil microbes? Sent from my F5321 using Tapatalk

  22. Looking at the pistils again and I've realized you are not actually that far into flower either, my apologies... However, potting up almost always comes with a decent amount of stress.

  24. Thanks bro. 30l pot is abit out of my capabilities. I have some 5 liter plastic pots. And i have some 10 liter fabric pots. Depending on how they growing and who survives. I will have to decide who gets what in the next round of potting. Also need a couple bags of soil by then. But as u say the GTH is a heavy yielder. Maybe they must go into the bigger pots when the time comes. I was thinking of repotting twice as they grow. Once into 5 liters and then into 10 liters. Still very undecided.

  25. Not condensation. I just gave them a light misting this morning. I feed every 6 to 7 days and one light water in between and I'll mist once a week as well.

  26. I do as little as possible. I do however spend time watering the plants every day. But mostly I just try to keep it simple. It starts with a good soil. This is my 3rd round of growing in the same soil this year. And spend money on good genetics. Buy clones from reputable people or try to find good seeds some where and grow regular seeds. You will see the difference. @Totemic just lauched some nice seeds at a good price check out his site or buy here on the forum.

  29. 07 November If all goes to plan, it's about two weeks before I will transplant the seedlings to their fabrics pots outside. I decided to mix the soil today and let it sit for the period leading up to transplant. I used a 150l rough tote for mixing everything. The mix consisted of 1 x 5kg coco coir brick, 90dm outdoor potting soil, roughly 15dm vermicastings and 15dm compost from my own bins. I eyeballed the vermiculite and topped it off with some Bio Ocean pellets and about half a cup bone meal. The total water used to hydrate the coco coir was 60l of tap water, to which I added 1000mg of ascorbic acid for chlorine and chloramine removal and let it sit for a while. Ph was tested to be in neutral range Update on the seeds: The first seed that popped on the 5th and got transferred to germination mix, is still underground. I usually plant them very shallow with taproot down and only the slightest of soil covering. I would have expected to see some action above the ground by today. 2 Other seeds also popped and have the taproot peeking out, but I'm going to hang back maybe a day with them before putting them in the soil. They seem to be a bit slower to respond than what I'm used to. Still amazes me to see how much water a single 5kg coco coir brick can absorb. This is 1 brick and 60l of water.

LMAO, glad to see im not the only one who's employed a personal bodyguard for their ladies Has it got a name? lol - here's mine: introducing "Dik Frik", heard him while looking for males & found him climbing up a plant, he stayed in this pose for a good minute, if i had any mantises in the garden they probably eaten by now

  31. HARVEST TIME!!! - 2x large hybrids (Pot a & wheelbarrow) Plant growing in 90lt tub has reached the end of its journey & I've snipped off as much nugs as I dare - now I leave her and hope I didnt molest her too much Didn't think she was gonna yield too much, but there's quite alot of nugs on this lady Top quality for a run of the mill bag seed (check the trichomes) Yield (I'm guessing 250g) My fingers & subsequent hash ball (heavy dank smoke - first time I taste hash with a pineapple/fruity flavour, makes u cough like a bitch) After Molestation The plant in the wheelbarrow also got a partial chop as it was also beginning to reveg - harvested roughly 60% - yield below
