  1. Hey guys. I'm halfway through my "Sober October" and thought I'd let you know how it was going. At the start I was wondering just how or if I'd be able to pull this off. Have to say that putting your mind to it is the first step. Apart from the first day, days 3,4 and 5 were the hardest, as I questioned why the hell I was actually putting myself through this. Knowing it was in my best interest, I powered on... After dragging through the first week, the second week was actually quite easy and smooth sailing... So far so good 2 more weeks to go...

  2. 3rd BBG sativa leaning = 70g Quite a variant of different smells and appeal throughout the pheno, surely each smoke will be as interesting.

  3. I just planted a fastbuds blackberry seed in a 20l Freedom Pot. This will be my first grow. I have access to both compost and worm castings so I decided to just try make my own soil from the get go. I went for a mixture of compost (there were definitely worms in the compost)and a half cup of worm castings for the bottom third of the pot, then I mixed compost and garden soil for about half the volume of the pot and I topped it off with 2 cm of sifted garden soil for the seedling to grow in. I dropped the seed in water over night and planted it as soon as the seed cracked. I've given it half a cup of water (the soil was still a bit moist) now I am just waiting for it to sprout. Temperatures at night is seldom less than 15 degrees and I bring it inside in the evening anyway. During the day (25 degrees today) I have it standing out in the sun in the morning. I'm hoping my soil isn't too rich for the young auto. I'll post some photo's if/when it sprouts.

  7. Today was the day for the first topping of the mainline run. Very sad to see bushy plants stripped to the bone all for the sake of some thick and dense ass nugs.. but nevertheless the growth rate of the ladies will see them recover in no time. Definitely the two front runners for aggressive growth and super tight node structure would be Glookies and Upper Cut. Some of the cuttings were treated with rooting powder and fixed in peat pellets to supply a mate with some clones for a run. One positive of the mainline exercise is the intense amount of clone cuttings one can take while shaping the mainline. On the negative though I feel you do lose veg time as the ladies have to recover and bulk back up before the next topping and trimming hits. Only the late entrant, Chocolate Haze, was spared for this exercise Before After

  12. Hopefully the soil isn't too hot, with an autoflower you really want everything to be perfect otherwise yield can be heavily affected. Not much room for error with an autoflower. Good luck with the grow and keep us posted on how it goes.

  15. Good evening my fellow green fingers.. Below a T-1000 gifted to me by Bay Seeds. This litlle girl is going strong and showed sex about a week ago. I potted her up yesterday and she seems to not have been disturbed at all. I will be keeping this updated on a weekly basis from now on. Expecting this girl to be huge so will be training her from early on.

  16. Now that's what I'm talking about. Way too many companies and individuals out there are just about me, me and making maximum cash. Big up to you@Aeradix on showing that spreading the love is still a thing in today's world. Sent from my DRA-LX5 using Tapatalk

  17. Looks like a female straight onto training. How far along not sure not keeping track but planning on potting up to 40L soon and putting her in a partial greenhouse space I managed to put together. Also planning on working with this potted soil throughout the season. So let’s see how the first plant does...

  19. I have tried some of the 14g and 28g bags and they do work. I placed some very dry bud in a bag and after a day it wasn't that dry. They do work but find some of the zip locks on 1 or 2 bags are not as effective. The price is really good and was my deciding factor to try it out, cheaper than a Boveda and Glass Jar.

  21. I agree, may be keen to give it a try next harvest too and see how it compares to jars with boveda.

  22. Great observation. I for one like to jar my bud slightly dryer than usual and reintroduce moisture during the curing process. It appears these bags are capable of two-way humidity control on their own. R50 for a TerpLoc bag that holds 226g of flower. That beats any glass jar that can fit that amount plus a Boveda pack. These TerpLocs also hide odour which is a great plus. I was skeptical at first but after reading more for this post I think I might just give this a go on my next harvest.. as long as they are still in stock when I'm ready

  23. Can't help you with commercial preparations. The leaves are pretty brittle when dried though, and turn to dust easy. Perhaps re moistening helps make the leaves a bit more leathery and workable again.

  24. Aweh good people. Grow we will.... 1-2. Swazi...ishhhh lady. She is a bagseed from last years grow, came up in my tunnel's walkway- showed some vigour, so gave her a chance. Swazi...ishhh, judging by the growth and structure, but she got some haze in her it seems. 3. A Purple Pineapple f1 girl, she's slightly sensitive, if you look at the primary leaf mottling. Did transplant her to a slightly hot mix, but she's pushing through and showing good growth after the topping. 4-5. Chocolate Gorilla getting good. She's carrying a lot of bud for such a petite lady. Luckily they are stinky pungent. 6-8. Purple Pineapple, she's going to be the Control, she is big and airy, good sativa stuff. Pushing sizable pom poms and sugarleaves are getting frosty allready. She's handling it like a queen a with the weather being on its head, 3 weeks of drizzle and wind, RH 65-90% most of the time. Got some rock dust, giving it a shot in a seperate batch of soil as the science looks good. Feeding SST's and AACT's, keeping the girls happy and strong. Got offered some semi decent indoor - Big Bhudda Cheese and a Blue Cheese, eishhh we were dissapointed. Puffing on Mr @Dank's BC, it has cured well - smooth with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. The time was worth the time.

Not even a crunch on the outside yet....its in my garage dark with no fan.... Any tips? Below my update on one of my untested seeds i bought that actually looks pretty dam good at the moment! Hopefully the yields will be as good as the frosting

  26. Just over 11 weeks now. Managed to get see the trichomes up close and personal. It looks like we got another 1 or 2 weeks. Was planning on harvesting the most purple pheno this weekend however I could only manage to find about 5 amber trichomes. Its been a bit of a bumpy ending and it seems they going to have to roll with the punches for a few more days. By now you can imagine the smells of dreams i'm tormented with everyday. Almost there...
