  1. Due for a small update. Sadly none of my GTH seeds sprouted, but I'm hoping for a female clone from the source to include in this winter's run. 11 May Well over 200 of my F4 beans sprouted on a farm neither here nor there. Haven't been to visit since, but going through this week. So excited to just get out there and away from the suburbs. I want to go and remove all the males and do some other thinning. All these little ones have since been planted in the ground and well on their way. Will update on the visit. Then I have 2 of my F4 girls here, chosen from 20. I finally have a female with morphed phyllotaxy. There have been hundreds but never a female. These two, are destined to be treated with STS and will be my Choco pollen donors that are pollinating clones taken from the farm. These are in soil I got from @SkunkPharm, and they are loving it. Thanks for helping a brother out when lockdown was at high tide. I haven't fed once, and these were transplanted to 15l pots from 5l this morning in the same soil, so giving it a proper test.

  3. @CreX if you give em a fair chance, and with your know how of the plants. I will convert you too. Just let them be and have their peace.. don't fiddle or cut anything i only top if absolutely needed in regards to the canape. Even if they don't become huge, the plants just transfer into one huge bud.. very very dense huge bud The Charlotte's Angel is a good example. Was a bit over 30cm tall.

  5. Lesotho Heights cob after 11 days of fermenting at around 40C. Opened the vac vag twice to air dry the cob. Now it's been dehusked, dried for 24h and revac sealed to be reopened in a few weeks or months. Smoked a gram or so mixed with some dry flower and definitely a smooth smoke, leading to deeper puffs and heavier effects. Definitely knocks and drops tolerance levels, had to, for a long time actually limit consumption. Waiting to see how things pan out during the cure

  8. 1x fan, with air in and air out, 100 perfect. You could add one more trowing air up or down, but not very critical now. Keep an eye on your RH and go from there. Microbes, hmmm, my personal choice, is Biodyne Environoc 401 sold over counter, but try find the Biodyne liquid gold if you can. There are others too, Kelpak is good, they actually rave about our brand overseas, as it is a cleaner and has more active and living Microbes than others. Worm compost and teas, and there is worm compost in the FF soil. Check what is best and local to/for you. Oh and adding any powder nutrients or anything not natural, will effect and harm or kill off the Microbes.

  9. I've never used FF soil before, but I'd say it should get you there, a rule to remember is once you start using nutrients, you'll need to up it and keep using it, from my experience and research. You can add that as you get to week 3 of flower or even sooner, up to you. Try find something with P and K in natural form for flowering, but not needed really. Get the hang of growing and this plant, and then start mixing in nutrients and see, you might not like using bottled or powdered nutrients.

  10. RO water starts at 0ppm, so you add nutrients and minerals as you like, you become the scientist...lol. Parts Per Million, you are adding those parts, as you see fit. Then you take the ppm up till a level the plants are happy at.

  11. Hey Zol, Do you plan on using any other nutrients besides the molasses? With your light, you wont need to cool, only move air around, and well as Prom mentioned. I'd always pH, even tank water, as I've honestly seen 7.1pH rain water caught in a tank before, so rather safe than sorry. RO water is perfect if you cant use rain, as then you basically telling the water what you want in there from the start, and not working on a guess. Peace

  14. Rule of thumb is that your tent should renew the air 5 times a minute. But the inside circulation is same if not more important. If you do not disperse the fresh air a simple flow will occur from entrance to exit and your plants will not get the needed CO2 to grow. Second the movement strengthens the plants structure to hold the buds. Cook up a storm inside.. to much is when leaves fly ^^ to little is when plants hardly move. PPM measures the particles in water. Some mineral rich areas can reach easy 800PPM and that leaves you no big range for fertilizer. To many particles in the liquid "clog" the plants "highways" up. Filtered should work but then you might want to measure the Ph. Best is rain water.. get a tank ^^ You need to have a closer look at the plant when you get to harvest time. Without you just guess.. and most beginners harvest waaaaaaaaay to early. Yes, easy to get it later.. get the harvesting gear when you make it to flowering stage.

  15. The Low stress has helped by getting light to the entire plant, they are still lacking in size for obvious reasons. I have also lollipoped them to give most energy to growing the newest growths instead of smaller growths and seems to be working well. At night I bring them under the florescent light for an extra 4 hours of light and in the morning before the sun is at its peak. Been feeding seagrow Kelp with foliage sprays every 5 days and Explogrow every 2 weeks directly in the soil.

  16. oscillating fan inside the tent. Fertilizer kit. PPM meter to test your water or get it tested. If you use tap water and is rather rich with minerals, might be to much. If you use rain water, forget PPM and Ph kit. pocket microscope or 40x magnifier or good digital marco camera. Pair of small scissors (thin blade) and a larger one. un-powdered medical gloves. Vacuum sealable glass jars. Boveda moisture regulating bags. And rather sure I forgot something

  17. they do that by them self.. have no influence on it. If you want fast plants, look for 8 weeks time seed to harvest.. or just trust me and get some Fastbuds Gelatos.. they will also give you a mouthgasm and hit like a donkey The Gorillas grow fine, I expect not less than 70g per plant.

  20. Jarred the Royal Gorilla, total dry weight is 54g The GDP weighed in at 36g. So the total grow for two plants with my wonky mainline came in at 90g Which brings this grow to a close. My conclusion is that my yields were diminished by a poorly structured mainline that had way too many side shoots that produced pissy little airy buds that took away from the main colas. I went in mentally wanting to see what would happen if certain shoots were left to grow along with the main stems but not nearly any of them grew anything noteworthy. I have a really good idea of how I want to mainline my next plants and go back to a similar method that I incorporated in my first grow; designating and favouring the main stems and focusing energy to the main colas with a tactfully done defolation to complement. I also experimented with heavy fluctuations in temperature between lights on and lights off during flower, which yielded in the most colour production I've seen on any of my plants so far. I do feel that I started too early with the fluctuations; essentially at flip. I think it would have been better to do it closer to the end and final week of flowering, during the ripening stage. The overall temperature of both plants during the entire flowering period was quite cold in general, averaging at about 15C I'd guess, with lows as far as 11C. Although no adverse affects were experienced health wise, I do feel it had diminished potential yields. Tasty buds have been grown and enjoyed regardless. Speaking of, having had some of the Gran Daddy Purple after a week of drying and a further week of curing, it is a very mellow almost meditative strain. I wouldn't suggest any thought-heavy tasks while on the GDP as the mind really wants to wonder. I would say it is very good for stress and winding down in the evenings. A bitter grapefruit aroma can be enjoyed from the grinder after crushing a little bit of the herb. It's a sneaky one too with a drawn out affect. You wonder where the high is initially and as you wonder, you keep wondering, only to realise further down the line that you are in fact quite stoned. I would definitely like to grow this strain again. Once I have had some time with the Royal Gorilla I'll post a little short something something

  22. so i removed the 320 and had to pull all my plants together. Its a bit of a shit show atm. i found the problem i guess. a faulty multi plug with a power surge effort that went haywire intermittendly and has basiclly fcked my entire grow. ok not entire. but many of my plants have seeded here and there 2 x LSP Hermiea. Those ladies are outside now. (its not that bad but its still seeded and a massive loss to a gorgeous plant) 1 x slurrijug still inside the tent as its almost finished. guess i will have to pick out some seeds this time.before smoking lol. I have moved all plants next to each other under 480w if 300ok leds. i split my one light up for coverage over the entire 1.2 x 1.2m area the plants now occupy. Various plants are at different stages of flowering. they all mobile so I can shift them without too much hassle. i think ill just finish this grow off before i start anything new. those seeds need to.hang on and wait. the bud bud bling tingz and tropicanna rose is massive so im unsure what i should do with it... anyway. so below we have the current all squashed up together but i have a lot.of fans on them Then i suppose its only fitting to show my hermie Who can Spot the seed?

  23. Thanks all. i ran into major issues last night which turned out to be my 320w. it seems to be overloading my power somehow and then yeah all hell breaks loose and my lighting schedule has been interrupted for 3 days now. i didnt know because the tripping of the light happens irregularly. and disables my wifi timer whcih doesnt automatically switch on. this now means that i need to remove some lights. (i suspect im pulling more amps than my line is allowing me to) So whats the future of my pretty buds looking like? probably goung to get hermies. so ill be picking seeds out of something i guess. install a power regulator so that when shit kicks in it doesnt overload the powerline. remove some light. i mean who needs to grow under 1040w. im sure i can have a nice grow under 720w aswell. i will be rebuilding my grow room soon some pics of what i think im.about to loose to hermies

  25. Unwrapped, dried and revac sealed the cob sand husks. Intense smell of molasses, definitely more intense than the 3 day ferment. Busy air drying a gram.

  27. After 3 days of almost anaerobic sweating and fermenting, I open the bag and get the dank smell of fermenting sugar cane and gherkins or capres. Overpowering yet sweet in nature. Left cobs to surface dry before revac-sealing. Will leave to cure vacsealed inside cob for 1 more week before first sample and final vacuum seal for at least a month. More schlep compared to air / jar cure, however, if this method results in a viable edible product, then I'm sold, and may reduce my ingestion by smoking.
