  4. Hi guys, So my initial plans were to cross 4 of my best cuts with a Safety Meeting male (electric watermelon x 9lb Hammer) and a Pineapple Skunk male. Gorilla Girl Sweet Orange Cookies Wedding Cake Amnesia All these cuts were individually selected from their respective packs over the years. Breeding was to be done in an indoor breeding chamber(1m x 1m tent). After some setbacks in other parts of my garden and not been able to slow the gals growth down, they ended up too big for the chamber. Between this and me obtaining some proper breeding stock for a more exciting project, I decided to carryout the breeding outdoors. Out of the 6pack of Safety Meeting I only found 1 male and the rest where gals. Out the pineapple skunk all were female. I was disappointed at first but the one male that I did find has really caught my eye. He just sticks out of the crowd of plants. He has great structure, stinky stem rub, short internodal spacing and doesn't stretch alot in flower. Couple this with the fact that his 5 sisters that are currently in flower are absolute . They portraying 2 different phenos that I'm going to have to eventually take them to the final smoke test to see who gets to stay. Unfortunately I was not able to flower the male out and harvested him for his pollen when he was like 3 weeks into flowering because didn't want him seeding everything. I manually pollinated 2 plants Wedding Cake Amnesia

  7. Ahoy fellow horticulturists. Been doing some breeding work with our self dubbed ''Fruitpunch'' cross. This lady is the preliminary result of what was started with our Mango kush last year. She showed very vigorous germination and growth, compact strong structure. Soaked the beans 12hrs, transferred to moist paper towel for 24hrs and boom.... 10-20mm taproots, transplanted to soil this morning and they peaking out the soil this afternoon. They want to grow. She is relatively mould and drought resistant and technically an autoflower due to her Ruderalis roots. Introduced some Swazi gold genes to boost her structure and resistance. Harvested about 100 beans from her. Results so far are very positive, she is ticking most of the boxes for what I want from her. Some of my companion plants (gemsquash/butternut) have pm on them but none of my other plants, which to me, is a very good sign. Thinking of doing do a backcross to stabilise this wily lady.

  10. Depends if whoever checks the product at SAPO decides to not let it through. I don't know much about importing illegal products but I do know if you look around you could probably find what you're looking for anyways.

  11. @Dank When your beanz are ready we will drop some for you. And perhaps you could do the same... it will just help us all speed things up and have unbiased opinions on the gear. So anyways a monkey broke a branch on my wedding cake cross. I dried the branch and dropped the seeds which were not entirely mature. This is what happened. So if you have plenty beanz, drop some and cross your fingers

  12. Sweet, a man with knowledge Does that also mean that I can't import for personal use, if the product isn't registered? If I can import for personal use, I think I just order for a year stock from over seas.. products are half the price.. so the 30% or 50% the customs would add.. would still keep the bill lower. Not sure about trading and corona (not the beer).. might take a bit longer as expected. If I have to order one product.. can also order all the stuff I actually would love to have in my arsenal. In regards of the Department of Agriculture.. if it works like Home Affairs, I should get it way cheaper and really fast registered, if I do not go the official way I think very hard into the idea to open a online grow show.. with all the products I would like to have inside ^^ But after your remark, I think I better check with the officials, what side costs are coming into the calculation. So many thanks for the input!!

  13. Thanks a lot @Mambawana , im down here in the garden route, will definitely want to do some collaborations with you guys in the future, im am there in the spirit for the 2020 projects bro, and just super stoked to see you guys putting in the work that is needed!

  14. @Dank The male was putting on flower clusters at super speed. Kept him on the other side of the property but the daily strong winds had me worried about getting pollen into the intake of my flower room so I chopped him very early. Going to @420sake farm to drop some new beanz from this run to see compatibility although I'm not expecting the best as the selections were done from too few plants. Although all this was good practice for things to come.

  16. Yo @Mambawana super stoked to wake up to this thread brotha! That male looks nice man, good production by looks of it, and like you mentioned all the sisters are fire so he should pass along some of that, F1's rarely go wrong with a nice vigorous male. Great to see the all the collaborations going on that side, getting excited to see what comes out, as well as wondering how my ol KushCookies at @Bospatrollie2 will stand alongside the fire you guys are busy with!

  17. @420sake Just walking around Trinity Farm makes me feel like I'm in a movie or a documentary. Truly a dream come true, looking back at when I use to watch things like Strain Hunters I never thought for a second i would get that opportunity. And now you have the ability to keep plants in veg indefinitely if need be in the middle of nowhere completely off the grid! Well done. Just the other day it was only a thought. I think I've shared enough to tease. Will call you one of the dayz. Talking about Strain Hunters.. how did their Money Makers turn out?

  22. @DankFiend Stella stuff bro. You did it... You had some issues midflower and the end looked far away but you managed to control it and ride it too the end. Too bad about Barneys Farm not really impressing... atleast you did it... bought the pretty packaged seeds and dropped dem beanz, just like me. Looking forward to the reset. Given what strains you gonna grow any thought?

  23. Well done on this project @Mambawana - gosh I really feel like a kid in a nappy running around and excited about these results you guys pull out of that Hat. Wow. @Trinityfarm is cool for April, down in the diary! Gotta plan some of the activity, soz we can all beg whilst receiving, hahaha The 1000Hills Nursery products are doing so damn stylish in the nursery with the new project lights run by the Atom450 powerstation!! There is one girl I am so impressed with, stretching like a fine basketball player. Will post a story about the lights project on the board as it really delivered right off the bat and the planning and access from Pit-Industries as a special build for the Atom450. Light came to Trinity grow house in our attempt at recovering from that hail storm disaster in December. Looking fwd to more pics @Mambawana

  24. I remember those days. My wife use to fight with me for stealing all the freezer space with my frozen 2ltr bottles. I once considered buying a 2nd hand electric water dispenser like what most offices have... stripping it to see what makes it tick and incorporate it in the system as a cheaper fit option. Looking forward to seeing your rdwc build. I'm pretty sure you will be fine in winter. Judging by how you grow now it's clear we in for a treat

  25. @DankFiend Well done on reaching the finish line window. The last lap is always the most stressful. Pretty cool that you improving here and there in your set-up. Using the whole room will definitely help dial in conditions against PM etc. RDWC rocks... just too many advantages that we all know... just make sure you have some plan to keep reservoir temps down even if people here tell you that it's not necessary. That was the main reason I stopped growing rdwc. Sorry about the outdoor plant and not having a copy. Don't worry plenty potential out there waiting for you in a another seed pack. My indoor flowering gals are doing well. They at day 39 already. I'm not too impressed with all the Barneys Farm genetics. Their trich development is mediocre except for 1 blue cheese and 1 gorilla zkittle which has decent trich coverage. All the blue cheese smell more berry like instead of the danky cheesey smell. The triple cheese are also not very danky smelling for a cheese strain. The Critical Kush by Barneys Farm looks like it's going to yield very well, it is definitely very kushy with a little bit of gas. The 2:1 gorilla cbd by dinafem has crazy trichiome coverage... more then all the Barneys Farm strains. Pineapple skunk by HSO is portraying 2 phenos. The one I like is super fruity, unfortunately it has really broad leaves and looks like it will yield lower then average because of no penetration. Last but not least are the safety meeting strain. I have 5 of them. 2 phenos been portrayed. Every single one is super frosty and very terpy. It's a bit of a problem cos I'm not sure which one is going to be the best of the lot until probably the smoke test so I have to keep copies of all of them around. Will do a full grow diary around harvest...

  26. just did an update. the one blue cheese is still not done - the more cheese leaning one (annoyed by that). the one I chopped is pretty nice tasting (more on the berry side) and has a easy high (nice mix of cheese and berry in that respect). filled three and half console jars, but there is a fair bit of shit that didn't get enough light - which answers a question I had a about the extent of fluence lights penetration of the canopy. Still it's a good light and I didn't do badly overall (which means I can take my time sorting the new set up). The outdoor sorbet yield was good, and a bud I took early tasted like its going to be special. A bit annoyed now, because I don't have a clone of it or the other stand out phenotype I found among the stuff I grew indoor. Im still figuring out if I want to go RDWC or something else next, but the next challenged is figuring out how I light proof the the room. ill ask for advice with that. Hows your blue cheese looking?

  27. @Bospatrollie2 How's mid April for our next meet up? Exchange some new flavours... Spend some solid time on the farm rubbing all the gals up the wrong way... @420sake Trinity Farm rocks brother!!! Looking forward to our canna session together and tasting all the new stuff coming down right now... @GummyQueen Mrs Mambawana loves the new gummy flavours. And as for the chocolates... wow... luckily I ate 1/2 piece as recommended and not acted too brave. That half was enough to keep me floating for hours... @420sake feel free to post any pics here... our work even on an individual basis is related. I'll post some pics soon of your landrace cut I have. She's just kicked in flower and is an absolute beaut... #southoftheburg #kzncolabs #durbanhunt2020

  29. I think it's been about a month since pollination. The 2 plants are really well seeded. Seeds are starting to splitt out their calyxs... Next update will be bud shots of all the plants involved in this project including the safety meeting females so we can gauge compatibility... Until then
