  6. Let me kick this off with a picture of some trichomes, as you can see these are clear - far from being ready. If I recall properly, they were from my Daquari Lime auto plant a few weeks ago. Entry #1: Excuse the watermark, that is from the software I used on my phone to take the pic with my microscope.

  7. Today I'm going to show you what a plant looks like coming out of reveg and signs to look out for when the plant is reveging. Okay so shit!!! You planted a month or 2 early and now your beautiful outdoor have started budding. What a shit show! This time of year for outdoor is best for growing leaves and plant mass, so now what?? Now your plant is going to reveg and its going to be a whole process!! Your plant will at a point not even look like weed anymore! Your lovely 5 finger leaves will get less and less, the serrations on the leaves will become fewer. She will spit out single finger leaves and look really weird! But then... The weirdest shit happens, these leaves start curling and freaking out. This is your indication that she is now back in veg mode! All growth above the curled leaf will be normal again. After a few weeks from that point, it might be prudent to trim back heavily on the growth from before reveg. Take a look at this critical mass plant that has just come out of reveg. Keep an eye out for the 3 spoke and 1 spoke leaves, as well as the serrated edges that aren't as serrated as true veg growth. Also see the curls I have on the leaves and how the growth looks after the curls.

  9. @Nikkel and you get to see stuff you weren't looking for too! I'd hit up hydroponic.co.za and see what they have for you. Whenever I see something I want from a hydro store, that's the place that it's happening at... Too bad for me it's in Capetown and I'm in jhb

  10. Hahaha!! The plants love it! I transplanted an Inzane in the membrane this morning and the roots were glistening white and healthy! I was really happy. But yea man, there are quite a few options you can go for. The hydro stores stock the biobizz range mostly and that's a good go to organic range. And I have also heard good things about powder feeding from greenhouse. But I'm not sure what you have near you?

  17. Hi @BigOG , the problem with the seedlings could be "hot" soil, and a lesser chance the extreme wind from the fans, seedlings can handle some wind, but full blast from a big fan could rekt them. To test if it is the soil you could try germinating a few beans in jiffy pellets and see if you get a different result. Peace and buds, happy growing

  18. Hi everybody Just a small update. I am struggling a bit with temps these past two days the tent gets about 30 deg should I get another fan maybe? my fan is on its highest setting. I have some nice growth but I am worried about the seedlings the cotydelyons on all of them have gone dry and yellow and the problem seems to be working it's way up the lower leaves as well. Tbh I keep having this issue with seedlings and I'm not sure if it's something I am specifically doing wrong. Cheese Candy OG Kush Firebush OG F1 I will post a picture of the seedlings as soon as I can. Also how long would you guys suggest I veg these they are at about 30 days now. Thanks

  21. Gonna try the mobile version. I'm used to tapatalk cause it keeps all my other forums together in one place. Ease of use and access was lekker, but Tapatalk does have its own problems. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  22. Haha no worries! It's actually tapatalk causing the confusion. You're defs not the first nor the last Im sure. It doesn't support the clubs feature that this forum has but still displays the posts and threads in the tapatalk news feed. So okes think they'll be able to comment on the threads when they pop up in their newsfeed but they actually can't because that post comes from a club that needs to be joined first. I think Tapatalk is a great alternative for some, it coverts the forum into an easy to use app. Has push notifications and you can even place a shortcut on your phone's home screen that takes you directly to the forum on tapatalk. The only downside is it doesn't support certain features this forum has like the clubs, polls and the other features that will be added to the forum in the near future.

  23. I'm in Cape Town Mitchell's Plain but really don't mind taking a drive 40kms in whatever direction...online also fine but I much rather go to the shop as its nice talking to experienced growers in some nurseries...you always pickup a few neat tips from different people.

  26. Yea man, that cooler is a great idea!! Okay, clear slime is not the worst slime. But it's not really a benificial slime either. Some tea should fix that in two shakes of a lambs tail

  30. Kelpak is more for seedlings, its not a nutrient though but can help with root growth. Nitrisol for veg, you'll need something for flowering preferably. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 Pro using Tapatalk

  31. From what I can tell this is related to Tapatalk and an update is required regarding that. I'm gonna sort that out this evening, will let you know once that's done and then we'll see if you still experience the same issues.

  32. Very clear, only enough to make the tubing feel slippery to the touch but no handle-able amount. I usually experience this only right at the end of my grows after they have sat in the reservoir for several months. The tubing I used in my initial grow was more opaque than clear. Most recently it was very thin clear plastic tubing that I got from a aquatics store. Now currently using a more rigid, thicker and black coated plastic tubing from Builders Warehouse. Makes the setup look a little better in a weird way. Not expecting any issues to unfold. Reservoirs are bubbling like Hugh Hefner's Jacuzzi and there are no fowl odors. Res temp stable at 21C even with 34C weather outside with no active cooling for the water (the cooler box design is an absolute win in this regard).

  36. Week 9 Flowering The hilbilly box is starting to smell so good, the Choco's and BlueBerryKush's really busy pumping resin right now. Finally managed to take some better quality pictures of the beautiful ladies. On the feeding schedule I have still been giving more P and K and lowering the N a little bit more, already very little N going in, fertiliser wise. Buds are a bit small for my liking at this stage, but it is due to growing conditions , and of course, the grower (ME ) created them! This is not because of bad genetics. Happy growing yall. Under the hood ChocoNL bud not in the comp ChocoNL bud in the comp BlueberryKush The stretchy one Crouching calyx Hidden blueberryK

  39. Well here is how they look right now I would say this morning is the first time I really drenched the soil. I have not been watering too much as I have had problems with over watering in the past. They are currently under a 1500w L.E.D (x150 10watts) But this is just with normal water I would normally just take a spray bottle and wet the soil at the top nicely.

  41. Week 6 Flowering It is the start of week 6, pictures are from day 36 flowering (last night). The last week was not ideal in the HilbillyBox for the ladies, i had two days where It hit over 30 degrees, even though im flowering them during the night. RH has been between 60% - 75%, not a ideal week 5. :( The BlueberryKush stretchy pheno is clawing on some of the leaves, maybe a bit sensitive to N, the Chocolope is happy and doing her thing. Just feeding some half strength nutes with more P and K now.

  42. Good Morning ☺ I have a little update this morning. Temps are at 20 Deg and Humidity is at 54%. I planted seven seeds last night, Six are in cups and one is in a plastic grow bag. They are all regular seeds so I will be looking for males during this grow. Seeds were obtained from various places and each seed will be a different strain. Strains are: Blueberry Super Lemon Haze Cheese Mango Kush Orange Kush F1 Strawberry OG Kush They were all started in the same soil with a bit of worm castings this time. The Cheese Candy is doing great today. There is a picture of the light too.

  43. A bit late but a bunch has changed! ive moved from my cupboard to a 1 x 1m tent. Got to say that having a tent makes everything so much neater and easier! Due to having extra space i have a few other plants in there now too, not sure if i should add everything else to the diary ? Day #33 Plant #1 Day #33 Plant #2 Day #33 Plant #3 They took a beating during transplant but have finally turned around. Feeding only Freedom Farms - Probiotics, plant elixir - Humic acids and a tiny bit of alfalfa mulch.

  44. Day 15 Flowering - Week 3 The scrog filled up nicely, only problem is the one BlueberryKush is beyond vigorous and is dominating her sister. Im letting them do their thing, i cant defoliate them too much right now as they produce very little leaf once in bud. The chocolopes are doing great, i have been defoliating under the screen, not much lst training now.

  46. 1st feed yes, although I don't think it was needed as they looked healthy. My 1st grow hence training wheels title, so learning curve for me... they out in the sun when there is some and under lights on rainy days...unconventional, I know but just fascinated with growing the plant. Will go full outdoor in mid to late spring season...this is just a muck about to learn and see what goes
